You know it's never a good situation when suddenly your car refused to start. I was stressed out and in a total shit moment when a used car that I bought suddenly decided not to start up again after it was working until the time I parked at a parking lot of a shop in center city ABQ. I called the car fixing company that I trusted (thanks to C&S Automotive) and after asking me some questions about what I could do for my car to see if it would start (it would not!), they recommended I get my car towed to their shop so they could help take a look....an that's when I looked up on Yelp and called InterCity Towing company. The operator was very kind and understanding. They took the time to politely answer the call, get some information (car type, pickup and drop off places) and give some estimates on what it might cost (REALLY reasonable by the way)...and time it would take to dispatch the towing truck to the place I got stucked (less than 30 min away by the way!). Before 30 minutes passed, Rusty showed up all smiley and friendly. He was quick to determine how to get my car out of the parking lot...let me be a kid to even play with his truck to up and tow my car onto his truck a bit..and poof..we were on the way to my preferred carshop. He was friendly (I learned he has been driving/towing for the past 17 years!!...and talked about some towing drives that he had to make interstate to Florida, etc, too...dang what a life!!!) and genuine and I was very happy I picked InterCity Towing and thankful that I had Rusty who was totally a sweetheart guy to help make me feel like my car situation was well taken care of. At the drop off, he also helped talk to my car shop and pointed out some issues he saw with my car in case the car shop could see if there was a problem with it, too. Thank you!...I'm very thankful for Rusty's service and kindness! Thank you! I hope I never get to be in a towing situation again...but if in an unfortunate situation that I needed my car to be towed again in greater ABQ area, Inter City will be my one and only one choice again! read more

While on our way from San Diego to Denver our U-Haul trailer attached to the U-Haul truck broke down. My wife and I were in the middle of nowhere an hour south of Albuquerque, NM when the wheel bearing broke and the trailer was just about to catch fire. We rushed off the freeway and I jumped out of the truck grabbing my irreplaceable co-pilot (dog Kobe) thinking there was something on fire inside the truck. A few good samaritans pulled off behind and helped us get to their house across the freeway. When we arrived in a safe location we called the emergency roadside assistance provided by U-Haul and they set up everything for us through Intercity Towing. They arranged for a truck to come and get my SUV off the U-Haul trailer and tow it to a hotel in Albuquerque. I knew it would be a while wait but we found comfort in knowing that someone was coming for us at 10pm in a tiny town that was hard to locate. A couple hours later (by no fault of Intercity) our tow truck arrived. We saw the truck get off the exit and noticed he couldn't find us. I (half asleep feeling like a scene from Titanic) started flashing my headlights and we were saved! He saw us and came over immediately! That's when we met our knight in shining armor, Josh! Josh jumped out of the truck all smiles and acted like it was no big thing to drive an hour plus outside of town to come rescue us in the cold! He immediately came up with a plan how to get my car and the broken trailer out of the good samaritans driveway and told us everything he was doing every step! Knowing we were coming from a warm climate and standing in the freezing cold of night he told us many times that we were welcome to sit it the warm vehicles while he worked. After moving trucks, trailers, and cars back and forth in the driveway Josh had everything set and told us to head to the hotel where he would drop off my car. 30 minutes after we checked in he showed up and told me he was outside (now after midnight and a 17.5 hour travel day for us). By the time I got outside Josh took my keys and pulled my car off the flatbed and right into the space next to my U-Haul truck. Unfortunately I don't carry cash often but at this time I wished I had $500 with me because Josh deserved way more than I was able to give him! While I don't live in the area and honestly hope to never need a towing service in this area again, I am am so happy to recommend Intercity after this experience! Needed a tow this morning. Called, and they were able to dispatch a truck for me right away. Gave me a fixed price based on my destination over the phone - which was VERY fair. Didn't gimme issues when I requested a flatbed, cuz my vehicle is lowered and has ground effects. No extra charges, etc. They simply said "No problem." The driver was *incredibly* courteous and caring for my car. He spent a LOT of time making sure he was hooking up to a safe area that wouldn't damage the car, then applying tension slowly to ensure nothing was gonna get pulled, bent, cracked, etc. And again toward the end of the loading phase to make sure the exhaust didn't scratch either. Then he did the entire thing *all over again* when unloading the car, to ensure nothing got damaged, scratched, etc. And this wasn't cuz I was harassing him; he did this of his own accord, because he obviously had great care and concern for others' prized possessions/property. And I think that spoke VOLUMES not just about his character, but the type of company that would hire someone like that. Two nights ago my husband left for a quick trip to Green Jeans. It was supposed to be a trip to the taproom and back home so we could have our date night in. Sadly, his car broke down. He called several companies in an attempt to get his car towed. The fees were ridiculous, they were too busy or we would have to wait three hours. I accidently dialed InterCity Towing and I am so glad I did! The charge of the tow was a flat rate that did not have extra fees attached other than tax of course. We broke down in our motor home on a long trip on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We could not drive due to, hopefully, a break switch which kept the unit in park. In the unit were the two of us and our pets. All of the repair facilities were closed for the long weekend. . I called AAA who sent out Intercity Towing. I had hoped to get towed to a campground, but all were full for the weekend. Jason, the driver, helped to diagnose the problem. He found us a place to park then came out on Tuesday to help us get to a repair facility. I do not know what we would have done without Jason. He went far beyond the extra mile to help us. I waited over two and a half hours for someone to arrive.When I called a, nice gentlemen gave me a time range to expect someone- but when that time exceeded over an hour of the time I had been given; I called to check the status. Of course- things happen and it was okay. Though when two service members did arrive (JDM and Chris) they were professional, friendly, made quick work of their duty- and they did apologise for the inconvenience. Had a really bad experiece with their service, after calling them in for their service and speaking to the owner about their prices he gave me a decent amount and decided to have them come over to tow my car, when they came and loaded my car on to their towing truck their employee gives us a price twice of what the owner had given us. We then call the owner and all he had to say to us and i put this in quotes was"its not my problem you couldnt hear right"and threatened to us to take our car to their yard,so we had no other choice but to pay them. What a way to talk to your clients and making their money....wouldnt recommend their service to anyone. read more
