I had fender damage from winnipeg icy road accident. After 2.5 years of not seeing my mom in Alberta, she passed away Dec 23 2021. I waited for spring to repair the fender but needed to get it done before i could venture to alberta for Moms birthday. She wouldnt be there but I needed closure and her birthday may 1st would be a perfect time to grieve. We had a minor fender bender on our 2022 Tucson and we were able to get the vehicle into intercity autobody within 3 weeks, ( other shops were in to booking 2-3 months). The front desk girls were very professional and knowledgeable, we were given a loaner vehicle that was very similar to our Tucson, the vehicle was repaired within 10 days with a very professional job, it was cleaned inside and out, it looked like it just came out of the showroom. The team at Intercity Autobody are the best in Winnipeg without question. I've worked with many dealerships, and had my fair share of vehicle issues. This was my third experience with Jim and his team. They went to hell and back to diagnose an odd problem that 3 other shops couldn't. The rental car was immaculate, everyone was friendly and helpful, and despite what I know was likely very frustrating work ... I never felt like they weren't working for me in every way possible. Don't ever judge a business by one interaction, always give a couple of chances because then you see the true character of the business and the people who are employed at it. After a few horrible experiences with different Autobody's, I was very reluctant to take my new car (8000kms) anywhere to have hit & run damage repaired. After reading reviews and research, I decided to trust Intercity. I am so glad I did, as the Team at Intercity did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier. I picked up my car to find it looking like the day I bought it. Not only did the outside look like showroom condition, they also cleaned and detailed the inside.The staff was so friendly and helpful. I was able to book an appointment and ask questions over text, which meant added convenience for me. My vehicle was returned to me as good as new and perfectly clean, inside and out. They do not take responsibility for their work and I cannot say enough times to enough people to NOT go to this place. They were supposed to REPAINT my entire front end, well they did but they left scratches and a CHIP in the "NEW PAINT" A closer look shows swirl marks in some places and leaves me to believe that they ARE RIP OFFS because they will not reply to my email for compensation on their BAD JOB! I just hope unknowning people will Stay Away because of this review. It's not worth the hassle to try to get work done out of them. It should be as simple as doing the work they are being paid to do, but it is not for these people. When I went to pick up the car the 1st time they called me to say it was ready, there was scratches and nicks on each fender, they said it was from the extension cord from polishing it, well if they knew about it when they tried to give it back to me that way, that says alot about what kind of business they are. After talking to many others about INTERCITY I have heard even other stories. Do not recommend. read more
