This was the perfect place! They have treadmill, bike and regular sit down work desks. I used the treadmill work desk each day and fell in love with it. I would walk and work for a few hours, then sit at a regular desk for an hour or 2 and then go back to walking and working. It was truly amazing. I felt energetic, focused and my lower back pain was gone by the end of the week. Plus, the people who work there are so friendly and welcoming. The owner, Anne was very accommodating and made me feel especially welcome. I highly recommend this place!

Then, when I'm ready to work, I get down to business and everyone respects each other's mental workspace. During the afternoon, I take a break to go to the mini-gym to stretch, use the rowing machine, and maybe lift a few weights. The prices are also very competitive, which is impressive considering all the active working stations and equipment. Some other pluses that factored into my decision to go to Work It and that keep me completely devoted to it are: trying out a variety of fun active workstation equipment, easy access via highway 94, free parking, lots of natural light in all the workspaces, friendly and motivated community, reliable internet, access to a printer and full kitchen, inclusive mindset, delicious complimentary coffee...I could go on but I need to stop somewhere. I get so excited when I wake up and remember I'm planning on going to Work-It that day. It's not just the great equipment and setup; it's the community too. There's no other co-working space like it and I want to shout out how much I love it to the world. You won't regret checking it out.

I wasn't sure because the…read morewebsite looked very corporate and stiff, but once I came into the space it felt very warm and cozy. The colors in the space are light with some nice wood and stone accents. They do a really good job with the architecture to minimize how sound travels. It's not distracting to have someone 10 feet away on a phone call. There is standing spaces (which I absolutely need) and sit down cubicles. The challenge with the standing spaces is that they are all in the middle of the room, so you can feel very exposed. In contrast, they have some sitting spaces that are more semi-private by the wall. They make a good effort to have social events and create more of a community with their members. The Reserve delivers the basics of what you need in a co-working space and more. I would highly recommend you check out the space and see it in-person. I also get co-working space at the Impact Hub in Minneapolis through an organization I work with. I have to say -- my preference is for the Impact Hub which has a more dynamic environment filled with folks working for the social good. Impact Hub also has an amazing rate for students. However, the Impact Hub is also a 30 minute drive (60 if it's rush hour) and has parking fees. I've noticed that co-working out of the Reserve has significantly lowered my stress level (it's only a few miles from my house -- compared to 25 miles to Minneapolis). The membership rates are structured slightly differently than other coworking spaces, but it's reasonably priced with other places around town. Worth the membership fee? In my opinion, YES. It's made me a believer. As much as people glorify home offices or try to make do with coffee shops/libraries -- for me, the cost of co-working places are worth the gains in productivity.

I'm glad I did instead of just working from my hotel room. It's a very nice working environment with a great staff. I was able to get much more done than I would've working from my room. There's a discounted rate for people staying at LaQuinta. I would totally use this place again on future trips.

LIfe Time Work in downtown Minneapolis is absolutely incredible!…read more I am a small business owner who has had office space in traditional office and office-share settings in Minneapolis (both in the downtown core and in the North Loop) for more than 10 years. I am particular about the design, quality, and functionality of the space itself. I also expect excellent service from office providers/managers. In my prior experience, finding an office that ticked all of these boxes felt a lot like hunting for a unicorn. Not any more! I have now had a gorgeous private office in this brand-new LTW location for about six months. I am SO happy! Whether you are looking for private space or access to open/group work areas, you should absolutely tour this space! LOCATION: This LTW location occupies the top three floors of the THIRTY building that is connected to LaSalle Plaza in central downtown. I love the location, which is convenient to absolutely everything. It is skyway connected and very close to restaurants, bars, rooftop patios, the Post Office, Target, several parking ramps, the nearest Life Time gym at the Target Center, and more. I regularly use the skyway to quickly and safely get to/from all parts of downtown, including to the North Loop and to the area by US Bank Stadium. AESTHETICS: This office is breathtakingly beautiful! The quality of the finishings and the care put into the design are truly superb. I can't even imagine how much money Life Time must have invested! Every person who walks in the door is blown away by the aesthetics. I was no exception. When I first toured, my mouth was agape as I walked into the massive and visually stunning reception area. Incredibly, the wow-factor persisted even as we continued to explore the space. I was/am so impressed! I spent a huge amount of time hunting for the right office, and this is absolutely nicer than anything else I have seen anywhere else in the city. LAYOUT/FUNCTIONALITY: The high level of care put into the design goes beyond the aesthetics. I am amazed at the detailed thought that Life Time gave to layout and functionality. There are multiples of everything (outdoor patios, kitchens/dining areas, bathrooms, conference rooms, collaboration booths, phone booths, quiet rooms, libraries, copiers/printers, file storage, etc). The placement of these amenity spaces amidst the private offices and open/group work areas was clearly done to maximize functionality and flow. SERVICE: The LTW Downtown team, led by Robert, is the best office-share/space management team I have ever seen! They promptly and efficiently handle all sorts of things, such as sorting mail/packages, guest reception, event coordination, and more. Most importantly, they hold themselves to extremely high standards and thus provide truly excellent customer service. They are attentive, intelligent, engaging, and practical. I could not be happier with them and the high caliber of professionalism they display on a daily basis. PERKS: In addition to the incredible service and amenity spaces, there are so many other perks to being a member of Life Time Work. My favorites are the discounted gym membership, professional networking opportunities, and regularly being around other business professionals. The energy here is positive and professional. I am looking forward to seeing how it grows!

The staff I met with, Tyler and Molly, were both extremely helpful and professional. I ended up staying just one month as it gave me more of a library/study hall vibe rather than networking and getting work done which is my ideal atmosphere. (Could be due to the package I chose, or I wasn't there long enough) That's just my perspective. Regardless, they earn 5 stars easily! Great overall experience. I wouldn't be opposed to trying them again in the future. I'm not 100% certain, but I do believe it's also 24/7 access which can be unlocked from the access key they assign to you. Seth
