I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company…read more A few months ago, I was walking in my neighborhood and noticed a house with a solar system installed. I knocked on their door and asked who installed their system and what they thought of it. They had no idea who installed because it was already there when they bought the home. They added that it was not working so they hired GC Solar & Electric to fix it. They were extremely pleased with their work and highly recommended them to me, gave me their contact information. I checked out the company's website, and their ratings and reviews at other sites. They were all stellar! So, I contacted the company to get a quote. My home has clay tiles, and I have a detached garage with shingles. Previous solar companies I had gotten quotes from had stated they didn't install systems on clay tiles, but said the garage would be perfect. Horacio, the Director of Operations at GC Solar, came out to review the site and agreed that a shingle roof was an easier option for solar installation than clay, but clay would still be possible. The garage has limited roof area, so it was questionable if there was enough space for an adequate number of solar panels to meet our power needs. After careful measuring and inspection of the garage's electrical setup by Horacio and his technical team, they concluded we should be good to go. I chatted with Horacio further to get some information about the company. He said they are in it for the long term and are committed to ensuring customers have an ultimate experience. They use US made components and panels, and the system is designed so if there's an issue with one panel, it doesn't affect the others. He came across as very honest and sincere, which is rare based on my many years dealing with salesmen. When I received the quote, I was pleased to see the amount meant the system would pay for itself in about 7 years, and likely sooner since power rates go up just about every year. Genesis, the company's electrical engineer, designed the system and submitted it to the county for approval. Once it was approved, the team installed the framework for holding the panels and the prewiring. This passed county inspection without any issues, which in my experience is an achievement because county inspectors can be really ruthless/nitpicky. Once the inspection passed, the team completed the installation and a final county inspection was done. It also passed without any issues. I was impressed! The only thing left was to alert the power company for them to install a two way meter so it can record power credits from the solar system, as well as usage of the grid. Once the new meter was installed, the team came out to activate the system and ensure everything was working optimally. Horacio walked me through the Enphase mobile app so I can monitor the system going forward. All in all, the whole project was without any problems at all. The company was excellent in their communication as I was kept informed through the entire process. I would highly recommend them to everyone. They are an exceptionally well run operation and really know what they are doing.

Mission Energy Solutions did our installations on both of our homes in West Covina and our rental…read morein San Diego. What we liked most about them is they used quality equipment. On our home in Covina they used the LG 300 watt panel and in San Diego we decided to go with the solar world panels. We did our research and both were quality. On both of our systems, they used the Enphase micro inverters instead of the string inverter. The consultant set up a monitoring device for us as well so that we can monitor our production online. It's been great so far and I Highly recommend Mission for anyone looking for a solar contractor. On Both homes, they had excellent zero down programs we utilized as well. Several were explained to us and we were able to choose one that made the most sense for us. We thought they were very knowledgeable on the finance options and return on investment explanations. The process did take almost 6 weeks on one of the installs which was a little frustrating but Mission did a great job of walking us through the installation process. We found that the utility company okaying our electrical panel upgrade to a 200 amp panel is what held up the process for a few extra weeks. I believe the consultants we dealt with were Matthew and Drew assisted us with finance options.

After I spent more than a year trying to get solar installed on my home. Mission energy got it done…read morein about two weeks! One big solar company (they advertise all the time) even gave up trying to put a solar system on my home after several months of back and forth. I'm really happy they did, because the system I got from Mission cost about $8000 less than the ground mount system they were trying to install (they told me a system would not fit on my roof). My system also produces more power! I could not be happier with my solar system, and would highly recommend to anyone in the LA area.

Eco Green Group - Full bathroom remodel! Medicine cabinet and light fixture hadn't been installed yet, but everything else is good to go.

We had been stuck in limbo with our insurance company for over two years after a massively…read moredestructive leak in the wall between our kitchen and bathroom, so when we finally settled with them, we were excited to finally begin reconstruction! I reached out to some companies here on Yelp and Mario with EcoGreenGroup was one of the most responsive and was willing to meet and begin work as soon as possible. Mario is exceptionally friendly and listens to all of your concerns while also making suggestions based on his own experience. We had a few hiccups with delays from our mortgage company, but he was patient and reassured us that everything would work out fine. The scope of the work that we needed included: demo of walls, ceilings, and floors, reframing a wall, new drywall, new flooring, complete bathroom remodel, complete kitchen remodel - including cabinetry and building an island and a custom pantry - and we also decided to go ahead and update our electrical panel and wiring, along with new AC ducts, and added some structural supports and replaced some wood in the rafters that was chewed through with termites. Mario worked closely with us from start to finish, explaining in detail some of his suggestions and showing us a plan for what needed to be done for our house to be structurally safe. He was also able to find the tiling that we wanted for the floors and the bathroom, and we could choose whatever paint colors we wanted from Benjamin Moore. He was able to have someone from the company generate a 3D rendering that was like a walk-through and really gave us an opportunity to see what the finished job would look like. The guys who work for him are also super friendly and efficient, they work hard to ensure that the job is done right. We were living in the house while the reconstruction was underway and they did a great job keeping the dust to a minimum and cleaning up each day so that we wouldn't have to walk through a mess. They happily installed the fixtures we wanted and Mario was very quick to return to address any concerns we had. Mario went above and beyond and even offered to install our old cabinets in our garage just for the cost of the installation materials. From day one he offered us a very competitive price and also helped minimize additional costs from the updated electrical and HVAC work. He is truly customer-service oriented and wants to ensure that we are happy with the work. If we ever have another project, we know who to call!

Unreliable and shoddy work. Cost was more than estimate and his workers were seldom on timeread more
