I began working with Dr. Patrick for my medication management and ketamine infusions back in April. Dr. Patrick is a compassionate individual who listens well with the intention of learning how she can help as opposed to dictating a program or belief system. She is open-minded to my suggestions and will present her thoughts and solutions in a kind and gentle fashion. The office staff are also fantastic and the infusion nurses are top notch. L.H.M.C. also offers therapists and I took them up on that service as well. I started working with a refreshing woman named Sari Neave about two months ago. Having been in therapy for about 25 years and working with three different therapists I was quite jaded and not too optimistic but was in enough pain that I knew I had to give it another try. Well, I'm happy to say I believe I've made more progress in the two months I've been working with Sari than in the entire 25 years prior. Sari, is insightful, intuitive, and very encouraging. Sari is very professional and has a very real and authentic persona that is refreshing to be working with. I don't feel like I am in therapy my my 6th grade teacher or some disconnected counselor. I couldn't be more satisfied with the professionals at LHMC. Bobby C

Now, you can get the drugs...but no additional support. As a result, I was fully unsupported when my estranged Father died. I wound up struggling with my mental health, this resulting in a dissociative episode so severe that I was hospitalized. Do not trust them with anything as precious as your mental health. On the other hand? If what you really want is just a fun K-hole trip, even if you have no psych diagnosis? They're your plug. I participated in a group session back when they had therapists. And one "patient" happily shared that they "weren't depressed, or anxious, but really wanted to try Ketamine safely." Not very professional, is it?

I have been using All Health for over 4 years. When I first started, it was out of convenience…read morebecause I didn't drive, and the Hackensack location was close to me. Other locations were also close to where I worked. One day, I went for my scheduled appointment and was in the room, undressed and waiting for the doctor for about 40 minutes. I eventually fell asleep. When I woke up, I had already been there for about an hour. I called the number I had, only to find out it was for another location. They then contacted the Hackensack office so someone could come in to see me. I went to the doctor about three weeks ago because I was experiencing heart palpitations. She referred me to the Maywood office, where they told me I also had something else that needed to be looked into. They gave me a heart monitor, which I wore for one week, from Friday to Friday, and then dropped it off as instructed. I didn't receive a call about the results, so I eventually called. I was told that the doctor I had seen would not be back until the following Friday. I explained that I didn't mind going to another location to get my results, because I just wanted to know what was going on. They scheduled me for the following Friday at the Paterson location. Then, the day before that appointment, they called and scheduled me to go to Maywood for an echocardiogram. At that point, I had two appointments, and I kept both of them. When I arrived in Paterson, there was actually nothing available for the doctor to review. He tried to help, but there was no heart-monitor information there for him to read. We then scheduled a phone call for Tuesday, which is today. I missed the call today, so I tried calling the office several times. When I couldn't get through to anyone, I decided to come into the office myself. Now I'm being told that I have to wait again until Thursday. Meanwhile, I have been experiencing heart palpitations throughout the day and even during the night. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I have been a patient with All Health for over four years, and I don't think it is unreasonable to expect better communication and coordination when it comes to something as important as my heart and my health. I understand that doctors are busy and that things can happen, but having multiple appointments at different locations, traveling to an appointment only to find that the information isn't available, not being able to reach anyone by phone, and then being told to wait yet again is unacceptable from a patient's perspective. At this point, my biggest concern is not even the inconvenience--it is the lack of communication and urgency. When a patient is actively experiencing ongoing heart palpitations and has already completed a week of monitoring, they should not have to keep chasing the office to find out what is happening with their results. After being with All Health for more than four years, I honestly expected better coordination and communication.

The negatives are that the therapists are under constraints to keep the treatments as short as is clinically justifiable so patients may be discharged prematurely. She's a HUGE fan of the up-sell. Don't go there looking for a psychiatrist because you won't get it. What you will get, however, is her attempt to use TMS, DNA studies and EEG's. They will do absolutely anything to charge your insurance and make as much $$$ as they can. She tends to disappear and, in my situation, when I finally got in contact with her after quarantine, she told me (and this is a direct quote) that she'd "given up on me." She also accused me of missing appointments, when I didn't. I can't imagine *ANY* doctor telling one of their patients that they "gave up on (them)." They also charged my insurance for an office visit when all I did was send in a refill through my pharmacist. They're investigating her for fraud. Oh....and her husband that works the front desk? Worthless. Works with patients far too much and he's no doctor. Find ANYONE else. Literally. Anyone. Find a bum in Times Square to talk to. They'll be more reliable.

5+++++ stars for Dr. Main and his entire office!…read more I have never written a review for a doctor like this before, but Dr. Main truly deserves it. I suffer from bipolar disorder, including manic episodes, some depression, anxiety, and difficult sleep habits. Over the years, it has not always been easy to find a doctor who truly understands the full picture -- but Dr. Main does. In 25 years, he is the only psychiatrist I have ever had who told me his personal goal for me was to help me decrease the amount of medication I was taking -- not only lowering prescription strengths, but reducing the number of medications altogether. My previous doctor had me on 10 medications. With Dr. Main, I am now on 4, with only an occasional extra when needed. He literally cut my medications in half. Dr. Main is not the kind of doctor who rushes you in and out in 15 minutes. He invests his time in you. He listens. He helps you create a real plan for your mental health challenges. He is kind, supportive, humble, compassionate, and open to what his patients have to say. He is never the "I'm the doctor, I know everything" type. He makes you feel heard, understood, and cared for. When I have missed appointments, he has personally called me. One time, he FaceTimed me because he was concerned, and when I told him my sister had passed away, he was incredibly supportive. He simply said, "Get back to me when you can. Take your time. But if you need me, I am here for you." That kind of compassion is rare. He also makes things so much easier when it comes to medications and refills. If I forget I'm running low, I can contact the office or reach out directly, and 9 times out of 10, the prescription is handled that same day -- worst case, the next day. In the beginning, I needed to see him more often, and he was there for that. As time went on, we both agreed telemedicine appointments worked well. When he started me on a medication for OCD, he checked in with me nearly every week for almost a month. I needed that reassurance, and he gave it to me. I truly never knew I could feel this good, this balanced, and this happy. Since becoming his patient, the world feels colorful again. I also wanted my son to see him, but unfortunately that would have been a conflict of interest. Dr. Main recommended another doctor in his office, Dr. Eugene, and I have never seen my son so balanced, happy, and able to fully live his life. I believe the entire team of doctors and PAs in that office is wonderful. They seem to share the belief that the traditional doctor/patient relationship has evolved -- and that patients deserve to be listened to, respected, and treated as whole people. Dr. Main is like a therapist and psychiatrist rolled into one. He remembers past visits, follows up on things we've discussed, and makes me feel like he truly cares. I could honestly write pages and pages about my experience with him. You seriously cannot get better than Dr. Main. I want to stand on a mountain and yell: Make an appointment! He is an incredible doctor -- open to new ways of treating patients, compassionate, attentive, and truly invested. Don't walk, run. You won't regret it. I promise. 5+++++ stars for Dr. Main and everyone in his office!
