John was our project manager and told us the whole job should take 4 weeks to complete. The project started in October 2021 and took 6 months to "complete." They never actually completed the job: the punch list was not finished, our home was not cleaned, and we are not satisfied with the work. The zero entry shower was not sloped correctly, meaning water just flowed out of the shower stall into the bathroom and bedroom so it had be redone. The first subcontractor was FIRED after continuously missing deadlines and causing damage to our home to include conducting wall texturing in our living room without protecting any of the furniture or decor. Ultimately, the second subcontractor refused to come back to finish the job and we were told it would take EE&G some time to find someone to finish the work. This was after 6 months of having people in our home for this project. We opted to just end our relationship with them even though they did not complete the project. Even after we thought we were done interacting with this company, we received a text from the second subcontractor who told us that he was putting a lien on our home because EE&G did not pay him adequately.

UPDATE: I received a call today from AMVet Concrete Coating. They've scheduled our driveway redo…read morefor July 20. As a former business owner myself, I fully understand that things can sometimes go off the rails--unexpected delays, miscommunications, or scheduling conflicts happen. What truly separates a good business from a great one isn't whether problems arise, but how they respond when things don't go as planned. So far, AMVet has taken the initiative to reach out and reset expectations. That counts for a lot in my book. This letter should explain everything. I sent this email almost a week ago and did not receive a response. I'm not thrilled that I paid $5,334.00 and have a drive way with an ugly patch. THE LETTER Dear AMVet, I am extremely disappointed with your driveway coating service. The finish on my driveway does not resemble any of the coated driveways I personally inspected at your previous customers' homes. The coating was applied on June 11, 2025. When it didn't look right initially, you returned and reapplied another coat in a few areas. Then, on January 21, 2026, you came back to repair a fine crack, but the repair left a visible patch across my driveway. Now, just a few months later in April, another fine line is already appearing in another area. I am not requesting another repair, as my driveway is beginning to look like a patchwork quilt. I was told the first repair was free, but any future repairs would cost $170 each. This is not right. It hasn't even been a full year since the original application, and these issues should not be occurring. You should have known that my driveway would not hold up well to your coating. I can only assume you were aware of this and chose to proceed anyway. I would appreciate a serious response to this matter.

THE Top of the Line Paving Contractors Are you looking for expert, quality craftsmanship,…read moreefficient, responsible, assiduous, conscientious, talented, professional workers, at a Great price? Sounds like a tall, impossible order; Correct? Not if you select Wagner Pavers as you "make your statement in stone". Thank God for a neighbor who recently hired them to create his paved driveway as we may have never found Wagner without questioning our neighbor about who was completing his work. Their work is likely completely through word of mouth as I've never seen any advertising from them. Their work speaks for itself. Once you meet them, from the office personnel, the owners & workers, you are clearly a part of the team formed to get the job done to perfection. Feeling like part of the Wagner Pavers family is expected once you meet them. Our job was a large one. I was skeptical before we started as to whether we really needed to have the work done at all but now that it is complete, it is VERY clear how it enhances our property & sets the value at a new level. Our driveway alone is ~2,400 square feet. Along with the driveway, we also converted two patio areas with the same pavers. The stones that were in the patio areas before the new pavers were placed were irregular in height and difficult to walk on. Now that the new pavers are placed, the surface is flat, coordinated, blended with the driveway and enhances the entire look of the house. Before I close this review out, I'll try to express the commitment & exceptional expertise of the workers. With ~40 years of on-off constriction in three different states & 4 different homes, re-doing kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, pools along with doubling the size of our 1st home adding many addition rooms, heated flooring & fireplaces; We've worked with many many contractors, concrete masons, carpenters, window manufacturers, roofers ect. But I have to say that the guys that work for Wagner Pavers are THE most exceptionally talented workers I've EVER experienced. They are clearly committed to their work, they are very well experienced. There was NO guesswork involved with their work. They get it exactly right the 1st time & work very diligently to get the work done timely. I was amazed at how fast & accurate they worked under the hot Florida summer sun, with very few breaks, to get the job completed. This was all completed at a very fair price & short time between start to finish. On top of it all; They back up their work! They have won me over as part of their family and I need to let everyone know who is in need of their services; Do not hesitate! They will take care of your job like a new expectant mother cares for her new child! I highly recommend them! They are patient, kind & work for your business. They will keep you informed every step of the way from booking to scheduling to work commencement to completion so you can enjoy the process and reap the benefits of their labors!

A Promising Start with a Disappointing Finish:…read more Honestly, I'm hesitant to leave a negative review, but I feel it's important to share my experience, which ultimately led to a three-star rating for this flooring company. I truly want to provide a comprehensive explanation for my rating, so please bear with me. They came out and did our floor in a screen room/porch, it had squeegee marks and buildup of top coating in several areas; it just did not look good in a lot of areas. I believe the problem was Dave had two new guys on the job that did not know what they were doing, along with the fact Dave was always looking over his shoulder to tell them what to do(he disagreed, even though he told me they were both new this week and his regular guy was on vacation) Dave said they would come back out and sand out all of the imperfections and re-coat the top and it will be fine. We were heading out of town for a couple of weeks, and he was going to do it while we were gone. When we got home and saw it, some of it looked better but it still did not look like a five-star job. I contacted him again, he came back out to see, and he offered again to rough up the top, re-flake it this time and add a new topcoat. Along with grinding off an edge were the topcoat bleed under the masking tape (see pictures) when they recoated it the second time. He also said the edge would look like it was ground off next to the existing concrete, and I agreed. Then after about a week of looking at it and wondering if it was the correct way to go, because if re-doing it once the way he did, how is re-doing it a second time going to be any better by just adding another layer of flake? So, I called him and this is where it went bad. I tried to explain to him my thoughts and he got really argumentative and I could hardly get a word in. I asked him if he could just take it back down to the concrete and start over, reminding him, his web site says "100% Satisfaction Guarantee". He also told me that he has never re-flaked a job and put a new topcoat on before. I asked him how can he say this is going to take care of the issues? He said I should trust him, I said that's what you said the first time. Please note, I got his name from a friend that had his done by Pelican, and it looked great. Which is why I decided to go with him. My opinion is, if he does a good job the first time your good to go, but if it looks like a amateur did it when he gets done, good luck getting it corrected. It's his way or the highway!
