Called both numbers to get some basic info. They only accept PPO. But the receptionist in Lincoln was not friendly 'at all'. When asked what insurance they accept - short answer 'PPO' and did not care to expand or find out if I could use their services. Emergency chipped front teeth after I ran into a wall. Office staff very professional and understanding urgency was critical. Got in the next day and the office is so big, clean (beyond clean)... looks brand new inside and calming colors. office staff dedicated and aloha. Now to Dr. Collins: hurry and get in because this Dentist is honest, listens, very transparent, ethical, very professional, clean, and handles the problem without trying to tell me he cannot fix my chipped teeth unless he does a deep cleaning. This is an update. Finally had my second dental implant (2 procedure out of 4) with Dr. Collins. "Friends" told me it was going to be awful getting them, so painful etc. Well I had the first "poles" done a year ago no pain and easy. Today the jaw reopened for next phase putting on metal tops. He did it in 10 minutes! He is so excellent, so skilled, so fast and just so kind. I told him I was in fear and he took all the fear away. His top asst. Melva filled a front tooth cavity that had a crack and chip. She did such a great job it matches my other front tooth perfectly and looks perfect. You won't find better dentistry. Painless and pros! Dr. Collins is a great dentist, and that's saying a lot. he is thorough, detailed in explaining what is going to be done, what should be done in the future, and easy to understand. I recently had to have a tooth pulled, bone grafting and a partial denture added to, and the entire process was completed in 24 hours. A while back I switched to a different dental provider for insurance purposes, but after my most recent appointment with the old dentist I scheduled an appointment for a second opinion on something that was noticed in my X-rays, and it's a good thing I did! My current (now former) dentist had misdiagnosed some scar tissue from a procedure that I had to have done years ago. I went in to see Dr. Collins for the second opinion appointment and found out that what my old dentist had noticed was nothing more than scar tissue. So now I'm a patient of Dr. Collins. Their prices are a little high for uninsured, HOWEVER they do offer a dental insurance plan that covers most things. Thank you Dr.Collins, you and your team are all wonderful! read more

I didn't have a dentist and knew I had an abscess and needed to be seen immediately. They gave me an appointment for the following morning. My face had swollen up like a balloon. They got me in and took X-rays. My tooth was in bad shape. I was terrified. Dr. Collin's said they could take it out that day. He said they would work me into the schedule. They did the job under general anesthesia. I felt nothing and it was all better. I can't thank them enough and I will definitely be back. It was no pressure at all and Dr. Collin's is very nice and makes me feel comfortable. I am petrified of the dentist. read more

The dentist is a very nice thorough professional. My last procedure was challenging and he was ip for the task. My issue is that they are big sticklers for missed appointment charges. If they do not receive a 24 hour notice, they charge $50.00. Be very careful if you are not able to afford these extra charges. read more

This dentist does a good job yet my complaint is they charge you not knowing that your insurance pays for it..you need to request a refund from them and that takes extra time..now I ask how many good people have they done this too?? How much interest are they getting off of this ?? Next they changed 50$ to my wife to an adjust teeth??? So be careful people.. again putting his direct (rude to condescending personality aside, because he really belittles women),his work is good..just have them bill you, so you can pay them off of you're insurance EOB adjusted amount or by right you can ask to get a pre approval and cost amount sent to you via a letter the office sends to your insurance company.. and remember if you're a woman, he will belittle you! I've heard it, and my wife experienced it! And don't let them bill your credit card when your insurance actually pays for it because it takes 30 days longer to get them to refund you! and they shouldn't charge $50 to file down teeth and only took two seconds! After our second visit he crammed dental floss between my wife's tooth very forceful as if he was angry and didn't believe my wife that she had issues with this tooth area which we later found out she did via another dentist! We were only going to go back to the cleaning and have the other dentist fixed the dental work! They are only in for the money and again he specks to females rude!! His personality is just downright awful. He is not worth paying 50% out of pocket. read more

The office is Covid non-compliant. So here is what I experienced my last three visits. The first time the front desk staff wore masks below their noses. When I was walking back to a treatment room, I saw that the dentist, his hygienist and the patient were all mask-less. I left without being seen. The dentist called and apologized for a "temporary slip" in Covid precautions. I went back for an emergency visit and everyone was compliant. At that time the hygienist who saw me explained that they had had an office meeting and were making sure that everyone was complying with the guidelines. I returned again for dental work and the front desk staff person had no mask on at all - not around his neck - not below his nose - nothing. I'm done with this office. Dr. Collins seems to be a good dentist, but his lack of concern for his patients' health under the current circumstances is concerning. read more

I had dull pain coming from my lower left wisdom tooth. I had been told years ago to have my wisdom teeth removed, but I was scared, so I put it off. That decision to put it off led me to where I am now in the story. The dull pain turned worse, but I still figured it would subside, so I took some OTC pain killers and tried to deal with it. After another sleepless night, I knew I had to be seen. I called my dentist (who is located in Rocklin, but will remain nameless because they are usually good) and they were able to get me in that morning. I was told the visit wouldn't be covered because I already had my two cleanings for the year, so I'd have to pay for the x-ray out-of-pocket along with the exam. The x-ray showed maybe 1/4 of my wisdom tooth, but that's it. The dentist came in, took a 1 1/2 second look in my mouth, and said, "Yup, it's your wisdom tooth. It needs to come out." He gave me another referral to the oral surgeon and prescribed some antibiotics because my gums were angry, to say the least. I asked him what I was supposed to do for the pain, and he said to take OTC pain medicine. They sent me away, after charging me $83 for the X-ray and visit. After visiting/calling multiple oral surgeons, no one could see me for weeks/months. On the way home, my husband contacted me and told me his dentist, Integrity Dental, was willing to see me that day because they didn't want me to be in pain. I couldn't believe it. I wasn't even a patient of theirs, yet they cared enough to have me come in so I wasn't suffering. I thanked my husband a thousand times over, and went home to wait the short time to my appointment. I headed over to Integrity Dental. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a kind lady (Danielle, I think). I told her my husband had called and gotten an appointment for me to be seen that day. She said, "You must be Laura. Welcome." She told me there was some information they needed me to update. She kindly explained which sections were longer than others to complete and she suggested where to start with the forms. Simultaneously, a male emerged from the back, welcomed me with a warm smile and a wave, and headed to the back again (unbeknownst to me, this was my future saving grace, Dr. Collins!). I thanked her and sat down to update my forms. I completed them and brought the tablet back to Danielle. I had no sooner sat down again when a lady came to the waiting room and called my name. I followed her to the x-ray room, where she introduced herself as Rochelle and took a full panoramic of my head to see the wisdom teeth. She was very kind throughout the whole process. After the x-ray, she led me to a room and asked me to have a seat. She was very compassionate as I told her what was going on. She took a quick peek in my mouth and was very empathetic. She took some notes, put my x-rays up on the big screen in front of my chair, and went to get the dentist. Seconds later, Dr. Collins entered the room. He looked at my x-ray, took a look in my mouth, and assured me he could help me. He explained that the tooth needed to come out and that he could do it right there, that day, if I wanted. He said I would be in pain until the tooth came out, but also said I had some options. If I was okay with staying awake for it, they could numb me and take both wisdom teeth out-even the impacted one. I was so surprised. Still in a state of shock, I told him I needed to text my husband first to update him, but then we could go ahead. I updated my husband so he could pick up our son from school. Dr. Collins then came back in the room to explain all the risks and potential issues that could come up. He was very thorough and answered any questions I had. I told him I was good with everything and gave him the green light to go ahead and do it. Rochelle rubbed some numbing gel on my gums. About a minute later, Dr. Collins came back in the room and gave me six or seven injections of numbing fluid near my wisdom teeth so I wouldn't feel anything. I'll spare you the details, but everything went great and there were no problems or pain. Rochelle put together a little baggie of stuff for me to take home for aftercare. They told me to keep pressure on the wounds for at least an hour and to not talk. Rochelle escorted me up to the front desk where she obtained my pharmacy info for the prescription pain medication, set me up for a follow-up post-op in a week, and she also rang me up for the services. It was only $139! I'm sure insurance will probably cover the rest, but I couldn't believe it was so inexpensive! I finished paying, tried my best to thank them profusely with a mumble, and left feeling great. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Integrity Dental! I'll be a patient of yours from now on! 1 hour. Total time it took to do THREE absolutely painless fillings today. Lightning fast yet still precise. I probably shouldn't put myself on blast, but Dr. Nolan is a master of his craft. Now I'm just waiting for the anesthesia to wear off so I can EAT. @Tri V, as of 04/19/11 their X-ray machines and process seems fairly high tech and most importantly painless. They have computers at every station that instantly displays the X-rays they take. read more

Doctor Collins is the man. Aside from he and his staff providing routine superb care to my entire family, we had an emergency today and he went above and beyond. My wife had an toothache and reached her breaking point on Thanksgiving Day. Even so, he was available to us for guidance on ideas for treating the pain until he could see her the following Monday. However she got exponentially worse that evening. So, with the pain meds not helping, he met us first thing in the morning--on Black Friday--to address her pressing need. I went to this place cause I live in Lincoln and because of the other review on yelp. The dental hygienist was really nice and gentle. Dr. Nolan is very nice and knowledgeable. That was the good. The bad: When they took the xray it was the most painful process I ever went through. The equipment seems old and out of date (probably how they keep their prices low). Not only that, but the pieces that I had to hold in my mouth while they took the xray was huge and had this metal part connected to it. It was like I was holding the film with a connecting crosshair for the xray machine sticking out of my mouth (if that makes sense). The huge piece dug into under my tongue and it was painful. It might of also been because of the new assistant being inexperienced. She had to take multiple shots even when that sh*t was painful. Didn't even get the shots the dentist wanted. Besides the worse xray taking experience ever, everything else about this place seemed good. I will give them another try. read more

I have been to more dentists and specialists than most people and I can truly say coming here has been the best experience I have ever had. I have had just about every procedure a person could have and Dr. Nolan has never, ever hurt me not even once. His office staff is outstanding, always gentle and caring. I love Dr. Nolan and would recommend him to everyone. I know dental prices and this office is at least 35 to 40% less than anywhere else. I think Dr. Nolan perhaps doesn't think about getting rich off people, he just likes what he does and wants to be sure people take care of their teeth and get what ever work they need done.
