James Miller (The Owner of This Business), also has rental properties that he maintains. I rented from him for approximately eight months and had many issues with the apartment. For example, the bathroom flooding due to frozen pipes, not having water due to frozen pipes, inhabitable living conditions due to James forgetting to turn the furnace on, and numerous other complaints and concerns left unaddressed. This ultimately made me decide not to resign my lease. I requested to do a walkthrough with James after I moved out and it was noted some of the marble floor tiles in the bathroom were damaged. I told James some of the marble tiles had cracked due to my apartment flooding and being below freezing for well over a month. James then stated there were scratches on some of the marble tiles. I pointed out that it is normal wear and tear on flooring and according to the lease, my security deposit is not to be used for normal wear and tear. Not to mention, many scratches were in front of where the washing machine was. Due to the freezing conditions, James sent employees to come over to fix the frozen pipes. His employees pulled my washing machine out multiple times causing scratches. James stated he was withholding my $800 security deposit and requested I pay for all new flooring in the bathroom because he "can't find any to match the existing tile." I told James that it was not my responsibility to pay and that I am still requesting my security deposit back. It has been months without the return of my security deposit. Overall not a good experience and would not recommend renting from him!!!! DO NOT HIRE THEM! I hired "Integrity" to remediate mold in a house that we had a rent to own contract on in September. The process took until November when it was supposed to be finished, but they claimed they had not correctly remediated the mold and it would be another $7,000 to correctly do the job. I told them to stop and my family and I found a new place to live. They were supposed to be cleaning our soft furniture, which they took to their shop. We got the bill late so I couldn't give it to my insurance company in a timely manner and they would not release our furniture until it was paid. So in the mean time they went into the house and took more hard furniture and held it until the bill was paid. My parents were kind enough to pay the bill while the insurance was processing and we got a bill that said "final bill". Two days later they called back demanding another $1800. I told them no and they were quick with the insults. I talked to a lawyer who said no more money! I just found out they have contacted my insurance money and have submitted another bill...I'm not a lawyer but sounds illegal to me! They stole my furniture, did not do their job correctly at all and are now scamming the insurance company. I guess if that sounds like good service to you then hire them, but I would run! read more
