Hands down best gym in the area. My company moved into this campus so we get to workout here for…read morefree but even if it wasn't free, I'd pay a membership. Unfortunately, outsiders can't pay for a membership. The facility is uber clean; I'm a germaphobe so I'm so thrilled it's clean. It's been around for years but smells brand new; like it was just built. Incredible amount of space and no shortage of equipment from cardio/weight machines, free weights, stretching equipment, etc. there's a pool, sauna, steam room, many showers and lockers with built in locks, towels, hair dryers, etc. They offer classes and affordable personal training. Most quality trainers at other places charge $90/hour. Here, if you buy a package can be as low as $70. You can pick/switch your trainers and easily book on the app. All the trainers and workers here seem very nice and not judgmental so you don't feel insecure here. My trainer, Anthony, has been wonderful working around my back and neck pain and learning my body to prevent me from flaring up and giving up. I have 3 gripes, but all fixable! 1. It's not open weekends. From the older comments, sounds like it used to be open Saturdays so I hope they change this. 2. As much space as this facility has, there's no overnight rental lockers. I have to lug a heavy bag with my clothes and toiletries every morning and I have chronic back pain so it's especially not fun. I'm hoping they find space to get this. At my work's other campuses, they have rentals lockers you can pay $20/month for - I'd gladly pay! 3. They play the same playlist everyday downstairs in the women's locker room and I'm slowly going insane. Other than those fixable things, I absolutely love this gym!

Due to lack of…read moretransparency in the description of the club membership availability , please allow me to provide what the club management has been unable to do. Membership in this club is available only to employees of large tech companies. If you're not one of those employees, don't even walk through the door. I trekked all the way down there to tour the club, and barely made it to the desk. I have little time, but have been looking for a decent gym for months. I'll consider this waste of time (thanks to the Moffett Towers management lack of communication) as taking one for the team.

Let's…read morejust say I am on the large size, and I don't always feel comfortable dealing with fitness people, but this has not been the case at all with FIT. I am working remotely with their trainer Jeff. With a relatively small investment I have all of the equipment I need to transform my family room into a workout space each morning. I work out through face time with 3 other women, each of whom are in much better shape than I am. Jeff tailors a program for each of us, so that we are doing similar exercises at the same time fitting each of our needs. He has been particularly good at helping me find ways to continue to work out despite some knee issues. He is amazingly responsive. What I'm enjoying most is the balance in the workouts between strength training and cardio. By the end of every workout I really feel a sense of accomplishment and have worked up a good sweat. I feel that great feeling of having worked hard and accomplished something, but I don't feel so exhausted the rest of the day that my day is shot. I feel revved up rather than beaten down. If your looking for a way to workout from your home, I would give FIT a call. I find the cost reasonable. You don't need your own home gym just some weights, an adjustable weight kettle ball and a mat will get you started. I highly recommend.

I went to UFC Sunnyvale for about a year on recommendation of a friend, and it was a great…read moreexperience When I got the membership, I also caught a three-month trainer holiday promotion deal, since I knew I would have trouble getting myself to go consistently, and while I've been to the gym a bit before, I still wasn't the most familiar with how to make a routine, work towards any goals, or even use a lot of the non-machine equipment I was paired up with Coach Brian Kaho, and he was a great coach. My goal was mainly weight loss to help with some serious health issues I developed, but I also wanted to just have base strength, stamina, and endurance I didn't have before, whether for if I'm invited to do something athletic with friends, or just for day-to-day life Brian was great with working at me where I was at, while still helping me work towards my goals. He knew how to adapt the exercises and how to go about teaching me the core basics to be able to actually build up the skills I needed to do the exercises while also starting to build up the muscle to be able to actually do them Brian was incredibly motivating and encouraging as well, always hyping me up and pushing me to do more while still respecting fully when I did need to take breaks or modify an exercise. He also fully respected boundaries I had set, such as me not wanting to discuss dietary stuff and notwanting to take pre-workout due to my own health issues. He also always worked with me on helping us figure out my specific goals and checked-in wirh me on them I lost a significant amount of weight over the span of that year, which greatly improved multiple weight-related health issues of mine. That amount of improvement isn't something you can just buy outright I also gained some more muscle, which definitely has helped with day-to-day living, and I can't complain about how my fisque has changed from that too. But really, beyond health improvements, the biggest thing working with him helped with was building confidence, faniliarity, and comfortability with being at the gym. In the past, I've gone to the gym and learned a lot of different exercises, but I often would be overwhelmed and often not know how to structure a full workout for myself. Now, I can walk into any gym and make a workout routine for whatever muscle group I want to target, adapt it for the machines and free weights available, remember or figure out the exact body postion to do the exercises properly, figure out sets and reps, and determine weights would push me without hurting me, or modify if weights end up being too much The UFC gym in sunnyvale overall is generally a great vibe as well. I did some of the kickboxing classes, which were fun, but there were a lot of other classes I didn't have the time to try that definitely caught my eye. The equipment is always in good shape there as well, and staff has always been helpful with dealing with any issues like trainer session payment processing and such
