She puts you at ease well, isn't stuffy, and is generally a fun person to interact with. I think her quirky personality makes her easy to talk to and get along with. Even with her friendly personality, she knows how to direct the sessions. She also seems practical as we had homework and gave advice for our issues. She seemed to be eager to help us on our problems instead of just being a "listener." She seems non-judgmental and fair. With other counselors, I might have felt some sort of bias against certain things, but I didn't get that vibe from Linda. She didn't jump to conclusions much. If she did, she did a good job filtering out any bias or judgement. She also started and ended our sessions on time. I appreciated that. Also, we had 8 free session through my insurance. After the 8 sessions, she gave an option to continue or not. I liked how she gave us an option to continue. And she didn't give any pressure to continue seeing her if we didn't need to. I believe that unless you have severe issues, you shouldn't need to see a therapist forever. They should be able to help you deal with your issues and let you move on.
