It is conveniently located near the main square and there is an outdoor market in the Jewish Quarter right outside. The decor is very rustic and retro, so totally fits the Polish mood. Their breakfast was very fresh, even their eggs tastes so much better than the ones I've had in the U.S. Some of the comments down below mentioned that the servers here are rude. People exuberantly dancing on the small, packed dance floor to American poppy/fun hits from that period (Elvis, Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison), interspersed with what sounded liked classic Polish pop/rock; they knew the words and were shouting and dancing along. This was a beautiful, zany glimpse into Polish life. Not a lot of tourists. Mostly locals, or, at least, Polish tourists if they were tourists. Warka is generally the cheapest lager in Krakow and I don't find it any worse than Zywiec (and it is a damn sight easier to say!) This is a Gothic looking cavernous underground pub that played some good music. There was even somewhere to dance (or rather mosh in this case). The music was very loudbut that is how rock music should beit is only the bad music they play in most UK bars that I wish they would turn downor better still silence (yes Simon Cowell I am looking at you). An annoying English stag do group made a brief appearance but after a few loud grunting exchanges soon seemed to decide that this wasn't what they were looking for (women!) and staggered off into the night.
