Went in to get an oil change and fuel filter change on my 2022 diesel.. The water in fuel light was…read moreon so I asked they purge the tank by collecting the fuel in a container I had brought. Both the tech guy and the female supervisor could not grasp the idea it is as simple as opening the drain on the filter housing and purging the water by using the ignition button without starting the truck into the container then replacing the fuel filter. The supervisor brought up a cost on her screen - the fuel filter alone was $130.00. I advised I was not interested and inquired if it was good to leave and that the tech was not under the truck - was advised all OK. I have used the shop in the past - they had good service and knew their jobs. The projected cost of this encounter was in excess of $350.00. My truck calls for 10 liters of synthetic oil - her screen / invoice showed 5 liters! She did not know or was not able to read the diesel emblem on the side of the truck. I did the water / fuel purge myself at home the following day. When under the truck I noticed oil leaking from the engine drain plug. The plug was loose and leaking which means the tech was in the process of draining the engine oil while I spoke with the supervisor. I was not advised of this prior to my departure from the shop. The engine was 2 liters below the safe mark on the dipstick. Had I not noticed the leak it would have cost me an engine. I am going to contact the head office of Jiffy Lube to further my complaint. The interior waiting area was comfortable for our surprisingly brief wait. They also had a solid selection of snow chains for both vehicles, and were able to answer all of our questions regarding the products we purchased. Not that there's a ton of other options out here, but I wouldn't hesitate to give them my repeat business. Word to the wise, though, weekends seem like they can get pretty slammed in there, which makes parking tricky. We found some overflow parking just up the hill and beside/behind the building. Going on a weekday, I found the place to be much less hectic and parking was a cinch.

We were staying in Fairmont and on a 'mom and son' day, we drove to Cranbrook for the day. On the…read moreway there, my tire low sensor went off, and I drove nervously watching it all the way to Cranbrook to see if it would continue to go down, but it remained a small difference. Nervous that we'd have a problem once back on the highway, we were driving by OK Tire, and I quickly turned in. I told them what the problem was and without hesitation, they took my car immediately to check and make sure it was safe. After a thorough check, they confirmed that the tires were fine and reset the sensor. When I thanked them and went to pay for the check up, I was told there was NO CHARGE! Wow! These guys know service and really went above and beyond to make a woman feel safe and put me completely at ease getting back on the road. Kudos and high recommendations for this OK Tire location!
