I wish I could give alpine Toyota no stars as they do not deserve any…read more I bought a vehicle from them and was told after I purchased it that the tires that are on it don't come with it. I explained that I need tires for offloading because I spend a lot of time on the back roads and this is why I want to truck. The sales rep told me the tires that he is going to put on I will be very happy with and if I am not to come back and they will make sure I am happy. The day after I got home I decided to take it for a drive and I couldn't get out of my driveway without putting it in 4 wheel because there was a sciff of ice in the driveway and all it did was spin. I videod it and sent it to the sales rep and his exact words were "wowzers your driveway must be crazy". My driveway doesn't even have an incline. He then sent me a photo of tires with a quote and said "I'd upgrade to these if you are going to do any off roading." He told me the tires on my truck are worth 500-600 and are good tires. Four days later March 17th) I asked for the protection package they claimed to have put on the truck as well as the paperwork from trim line. I still have not received either. That same day I asked the sales rep if he would buy back the truck and sell me my vehicle back and he said..... I don't know what to say. I'll talk to my manager in the morning. Ive never heard from him again. I decided to send the sales manager an email. One week later I still did not have a reply so I sent him another one. He called and left a vm saying he made several attempts to contact me. I have no record of this. He said he wants to work with me to resolve this and asked if we can talk. Last Friday, April 2nd at 6:52 pm he sent me a text asking if he can call me the next morning, as he is travelling right now. I said sure, he responded with ok. I'm still waiting for the call. The sales manager told me in a text that he was under the understanding that I was told the tires that were on the truck are being replaced with stock tires when it sold. He said he tires that are on the truck now are stock tires and all Tacoma's come with the same tires. Except that this is not a new vehicle and the tires that were on the truck are what got my attention. The vehicle I traded in had brand new 1400. tires on them that I could have taken off and replaced with cheap 500-600 tires, but I didn't because I went to the dealership with these tires and that's how I presented my vehicle to them. I am not letting this go until I get what I paid for. My suggestion to anyone wanting to purchase a Toyota is to make the drive to Castlegar and deal with them. Alpine Toyota'a word is cheap just like the tires they put on my truck after they sold it to me!

They claimed it was just trapped air when there scanner clearly said it was thermostat that had to be replaced so we had to fix that $400 later for something that should of been fixed then and there! Has electrical problems with front lights which they already knew and steered us away from the question when we asked. Then the key in the fob they gave us doesn't even fit our Jeep. Words can't even discribe how upset I am!!!!! So mad makes me just want to cry. This was my first car and I had the worst experience of my life. If I could give them a zero star I would! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

The day after i returned home i started the car and got a big warning about the drive something and it started sputtering and i had to limp it the 3 miles home. i called Reggie, he seemed unconcerned and chalked it up to the computer. Since then i have had several issues with the car (in less than 2 weeks). I tried texting Reggie, he declined my call once and yesterday i finally got to speak to him. he would not listen when i showed him over facetime that none of the buttons on the steering wheel were working or changing anything on the dash. Even after showing him numerous times. i also showed him a warning that said "vehicle ready to start" as my vehicle WAS STARTED AND RUNNING. After getting nothing but the runaround, i said i was very frustrated as this is a brand new vehicle (there are many problems) and told Reggie i would take it in to my local dealership to have it looked at.We said goodbye but Reggie never hung up the phone and i heard him say "im sick of people fu**ing bitching. Its a fu**ing Tiguan, what do you expect. I then heard him say goodbye to Tod and to have a good day and more. UNACCEPTABLE AND DISGUSTING!! I then texted Tod and said maybe your salesman should make sure they hang up the phone before saying such things. Tod is not the friendliest person either. I have put in a complaint with Volkswagen. Just think, if that is what Reggie says about me when he forgot to hang up the phone, imagine what he is saying about all the customers. Yet on our test drive all he could talk about was wanting a good reputation in town. He completely blew that and as someone who is on their 5th VW i will make sure no one i know will ever do business here.

We bought a "certified" used Atlas after a car accident and had to buy a car somewhat quickly. The…read moresaleswoman was great, the manager was horrible. Wouldn't come out of his office even though she kept leaving to discuss the price with him. We asked to just speak to the manager at least 3 times because the buying process was much longer than it needed to. The manager had been driving the vehicle we purchased so was well-aware of any issues. The car was supposed to have been safetied, except when we picked it up the defrost wasn't working. We thought maybe it was moisture from them cleaning the car so gave it a few days. Driving down the highway, it was so clouded over I couldn't see the cars to merge lanes and had to pull over on the side of the highway, which scared my kids. We took the car to our local Volkswagen who inspected the car and wrote up everything that was wrong with it. We called the dealership and the saleswoman was concerned at first. After speaking to the manager, their position was that "it must have broken after we picked it up." They refused to acknowledge the car had been hot safetied. We discovered shortly after the purchase that the breaks were also at the end of their life. I would never shop here again or send anyone I like to this dealership, mostly because of the behaviour of the shady manager. And they are not a "recognized" VW dealership by VW, as they are masquerading as. If we had known this ahead of time, we wouldn't have shopped there in the first place. My advice would be to AVOID.
