My latest experience though, has turned me completely off - I will not be back. When I arrived at Midas it was 20 minutes to closing, it seemed as though things had quieted down for the evening. The mechanics were gathered around chatting, anxiously waiting to go home, and I was the only customer in the shop. I was turned away! They turned my business down and that's no way to run a business. I was shocked, I a loyal customer, and those guys knew me. Not only that, I had left work early to be there in what I thought, was time. I could understand if things were busy and I was a frantic customer pulling in 10 minutes to closing - that was not the case. Now, if I owned a business and found out that my employees were doing things like this out of laziness, or for whatever reason, I'd appreciate being informed. So I called Midas and spoke with the receptionist. She took all my information and said she'd look into it. By the end of the day no phone call was returned. So I picked up my phone, when the receptionist answered I received a much different tone from our initial conversation. She was rude, and made no apology for any of it. This one experience speaks louder than all previous mediocre appointments :)

These tires were intended for a horse trailer, where a blowout on the highway puts both people and animals at risk. Tires in this condition should never be sold. The business denied responsibility and failed to resolve the sale of unsafe tires, demonstrating a clear lack of regard for safety. This review will reflect how the company ultimately chooses to handle this matter.

I still stop by and buy parts there sometimes and if I have a vehicle needing a lot of work it will find it's way to this place. It is now a division of Adams Chevrolet in Wetaskiwin but the family atmosphere it had once remains the same. They do seem to have raised the amount of cars and parts they stock now which is a win for anybody looking.

The differential oils are black as well. The air SERVICE AIR BAG light came on a week after I left lot and has not gone off since. The guy at the lube place told me that all of these problems should have been dealt with but after looking at the check list, we both knew that this has NOT been done and to have it done now I am sure, is not something that Adams is willing to do. We spent 17,500.00 and there in a little over six months and were planning on buying a couple of more vehicles from them, but I am very disappointed now. I do not see the point in calling when the attitude after the cash exchanged hands left me with a "you are on your own" feeling.

We thought for sure the axel was done for as well, and that we'd be out of commission for a few days. Kerry's had us back on the road in less than 24 hours! The axel turned out to be okay, and due to the expertise of the mechanic it remained undamaged during the repair. I don't know much about this stuff, but it sounded like most shops would have had a hard time replacing the parts without damaging the axel in the process. The parts were delivered efficiently even out here in the boonies. Excellent all around!

One of them was in worse shape than the one I took off. One was chunked out and showing cord and the other was not much better. These tires would not pass a safety inspection so I refused to take them. When I pointed it out to them they shrugged their shoulders and told me all their used tires were like that, which concerns me even more.
