I had a medical issue 3 months back that began with a visit to the medical centre which was actually my first visit. The medical issue turned out to be an emergency and Dr. El-Batnigi and staff were very comforting and providing me with the professional care I needed before heading to the hospital. Since that visit I have been back a few more times for a check up and to refill my prescriptions at the very efficient well run on site pharmacy. In addition to the on site pharmacy they also have an on site lab to get your blood tests done. It is a very clean and organized well run clinic and family practice. The parking spots are limited, but still can do street side parking. There are 2 people at the front desk, they were friendly. The waiting time was not that long, about 15-20 mins. The pediatric doctors were really experienced, and they explained the issues and gave detailed instructions of the meds, also answered my questions patiently, even though there were more kids waiting. The pharmacy is connected to the doctor's computer, doctor sent the prescription right to the pharmacy, we picked up meds right after step out the checking room. It's fast and convenient. The pharmacist would explained the meds again as other pharmacists do. This clinic is located at the downtown of Richmond Hill. Easy to get to. We had a great experience in here.

I was charged $75.00 dollars to see a doctor. I paid with the understanding that I would be reimbursed once I supplied them a renewed Health card. I supplied an updated card a week later. I was then told that OHIP could take up to 3 months to reimburse them and that their head office in Alberta would then send me a cheque asap upon their receipt. I have called several times for reimbursement. I have spoken to numerous people at both their Richmond Hill and Newmarket offices. I have told my story repeatedly and spent hours on the phone trying to get resolve. I have been told that head office did receive repayment from OHIP, in addition to being promised that someone will call me back. They refused to give me a manager's name or any contact information on who is responsible for reimbursement at their head office. Today I spoke with someone again. Once again, the Richmond Hill manager was not in and they would do their best to have someone call me back. To date...over 7 months later... I have not received any reimbursement. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The secretary told me we aren't taking any more patients today. So I asked if the waiting room was full, and she said no it's empty. So I asked if they could please take us and that we could be there in 5 minutes. We arrived 10 minutes later to clinic that was open but had no doctor. She knew we were on our way, took my name and left right after 5 minutes instead of waiting. First of all, the clinic is open until 7! How dare you turn patients away as of 6:30 and then actually LEAVE before closing time. I am so disgusted by what happened this evening. Then the secretaries tried to tell me that I was 20 min late which was a LIE! Absolutely awful service on all counts. You should all be ashamed of yourselves and equally embarrassed. You have taken an oath to care and serve people; shame on you all. I will never step foot in this clinic again and highly recommended no one else does either. The reception told me that it's $20 for with reading for each step. I even repeated on the phone if "$20 including reading?" She said yes! Other locations are $30 for each step. I need the 2-Step test so a $40 payment for work sounds good to me instead of $60. I come in, it was busy so reception told me it will be about 40mins wait (which is probably longer anyway) so to come around 1:30pm since I had my baby with me. So I did. I waited an hour for the dr anyway... how convenient to be seen for not even 5mins. 3 days later I come in but only waited 10mins (so nice even though my baby wasn't with me this time). I was seen for 5mins again to do the reading and the Dr (a different one) told me that I had to pay $40. I told him what I was told over the phone and he apologized. Said that it's $20 for the injection, then $20 for reading since it's usually different Drs each time. I could've just went to a different location.. How could they mess this up? I do like how they have pillows in all their rooms and the sliding doors.

I have seen her many times this month and she made sure that all the right tests were done. The technician doing the blood work on Fridays can be a tad slow and has trouble finding veins, but makes sure you feel comfortable. The receptionist who works during the week is very kind every time I go in, the two ladies with blonde hair are a bit impatient but they still keep a level of kindness. The only issue I would have with this clinic is the long wait times during the day - much higher than most, but overall a very nice place to be!!!
