After phoning a couple of other IT companies in York and getting disappointing cold responses over the phone I called Lantech and was immediately impressed. They were friendly and clearly explained what the possible problems were and worked around my schedule to come and collect my laptop. I was kept me up to date over the phone as they worked on the problem and allowed me to choose what solution to go for. The excellent communications from Lantech really gave me peace of mind. We use this printer company at my place of work and the attitude we encounter every single time is so refreshing - everyone is cheerful and eager to help if possible and if you've missed any detail from your order they'll be straight on the phone to check everything and make sure you get what you need. The efficiency is quite remarkable here. I've known them turn round full colour printing jobs in a few hours and it's become an in-house joke where I work where we almost have a sweepstake on how soon they'll get back to us. We use recycled paper and that's easily done at Colourcopy so there's an environmentally friendly side to them too. Finally the quality of the job they do is first class. Our printing requirements are always done to the highest quality and everything they've done for us has been spot on.

It looked like they had a decent amount of kit in there and offer large banner printing etc and the prices seem reasonable. As a web designer I'm not generally fussed with printed material so on the occasions I need something printing it's good to know there is a reliable business around the corner.

My machine is quite old (over 10 years) but because of the upgrades it can still handle playing HD YouTube videos and iplayer without any jitters. It is the company's philosophy to make the best possible machine rather than forcing customers to buy a completely new one, thus recycling rather than tipping, so it ends up in say India where children are forced to extract the precious metals at risk to themselves from the toxic fumes that can kill.
