Just recently even... After the tornado's came thru last year and Pat was double checking what the roofer's did and he saw something, made the call and got them back up there to secure the tarps better. We would have never known, and then during the pandemic, making it over to help with an insurance claim and being prepared to keep our family safe and we have been with them for over a decade now. They insure 5 homes and 3 vehicles. We are blessed to have found them.

I am giving 3 stars because the company did not do right by me as a long time customer of over 15…read moreyears. Their customer service used to be phenomenal, the past few years not so much. After my son got his license, They added him to our policy without my authorization and without discussing the option of another company, Erie now wants me to pay over $1200 for a couple month policy. (This is due to Renz adding without taking to me or my husband first). I was misinformed on what would have to be done when my son got his temporary and then Renz added him and is blaming Erie for telling them to do it. I've asked Renz to make this good by me since I have been a long time customer and it was ultimately their error for not contacting me. I would be willing to pay half but Renz says there is nothing they can do. I normally don't write reviews like this but other people need to know what they might be getting themselves into. The company used to be great and I've referred many people. This is truly sad and I cannot believe I am even writing this review.

Quoted…read morerates then I was informed 10 days after paying for the policy the rates would be triple because I did not have a previous auto policy with them in the last 30 days. I have a van and my home insured through them. I previously had another auto insured with them for 20 years with no claims. They issued me a refund because I canceled of 17.00, I paid 70.85. Even if it was prorated for 10 days the refund should have been over 40.00. Crooks!
