I am in a place where i am feeling great within a short period of time . She is a wonderful motivator ,a guide in experiencing your innerself analyzing and finding out different ways of coping up skills .I was recently diagnosed with PTSD and had been taking pills. My sleep was off routine. Now i can feel and see a new experience with Alysaa that motivates and encourage me to do a self research on lot coping up mechanism to be on routine and balance things to move forward as a person and family as a whole.Feel a lot of inner peace ,understanding, acceptance, let go off my past and unwanted thoughts, worries to gfade away and happiness to take over.We have satisfied and been greatful for all that they have done.Pray for all of them to be more and more successful in what they do to impact so many people's lives. Also Allen is my spouse's therapist and been a awesome person to work with.So much transformation on my spouse's perspective towards life and how to handle things with ease and confidence. Both Alysaa and Allen are a great life changers in our lives. So much gratitude for what they are doing .They will remain as a part of our extended family forever whereever we go or wherever we move on.Want to recommend Bridgeview for anyone i know off. Thanks for being there for us.

Honestly, I was extremely resistant - I didn't want to see a therapist, I didn't want to talk through issues, and I really didn't think CBT would help at all with my sleeping problems. I finally gave in, agreeing to "time box" the sessions to 10 weeks, just to give it a shot and see if it would help. After my first session with Amy, my wife and I both noticed improvements in my ability to fall asleep, my quality of sleep, and my overall mood and energy because of my sleep, within just a couple of days. Fast forward several months later, including multiple weeks of seeing Amy more than once a week. The 10 week "time box" is obviously well past, and I've begun to allow Amy and her expertise into more of my life and to help me deal with even more issues in my life, from being a better husband, father, employee, and just a better person in general. To be completely honest, I really wanted to not like seeing a therapist, and frankly, not like Amy. But now, I can't imagine my life without seeing Amy and having her help me through things, give me my homework, and help me to learn that I can work through mental hurdles with various strategies she's taught me. Amy has always been available - she's very prompt to return phone calls and even text messages when I have needed her, has been very flexible to work around my schedule, and genuinely cares about me and my family. If you're looking for a great therapist and someone who will care about you, get to know you, and take time for you, I highly recommend Amy. She's helped more than my sleep, she's changed my life and sticking with her past 10 weeks has been the best decision I've made in a long time.

Deeply Concerning Experience with Dr. Susan Ahmari at Linden Oaks…read more Our experience with this psychiatrist was extremely disappointing and caused significant emotional harm to our child and family. Our adolescent child met clinical criteria for discharge and was ready to step down to a less restrictive level of care. Despite this, the psychiatrist extended the inpatient stay by an additional two days, resulting in a six-day hospitalization that did not appear to be clinically necessary or individualized. Decisions seemed to be based on an average length of stay for adolescents rather than our child's specific needs and progress. This psychiatrist does not typically work with adolescent patients and was serving as the on-call physician, yet chose to continue overseeing care during a particularly busy period. This lack of specialization was evident in her approach. Communication was minimal, condescending, and dismissive. Feedback from the treatment team and our family was not considered, and there was no sense of collaboration or shared decision-making. As parents, we felt completely unheard and powerless. The extended stay caused unnecessary stress, anxiety, and uncertainty for our child at a very vulnerable time. The lack of empathy and poor bedside manner left a lasting negative impact. This experience significantly eroded our trust and left us feeling hopeless rather than supported. We would not recommend this provider for adolescent inpatient care. We are currently consulting legal counsel about our experience and hope this review helps other families avoid the same distress. What happened to us reflects, in our view, serious problems with the involuntary treatment system and how some providers operate within it. Please proceed with caution, ask questions, and make sure your voice is heard. Families deserve compassion, honesty, and respect -- values we did not experience under Dr. Ahmari's care.

We had Influenza a in our home and was not able to be there but let them know and they didn't give a shit. I drove my child there sick as a dog and called to ask can I drop her off and they said NO I had to bring her up. Saying they are going to leave recommendations in my chart. Never happened it was all a big lie. I am back to square one with my child who was devasted by what they did to her. They were going to increase her medication and that never happened. Now I have to drudge around in this industry to try and find someone who really cares. That's not easy I can tell you. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am contemplating calling an attorney and seeing them in court.

I barely got the question about if their psychiatrists had any available appointments (most child psychiatrists in the area are booked until Christmas!), when I was told "our psychiatrists aren't accepting new patients" followed by her hanging up! Obviously I also wanted to ask about counseling, and any other services they had, but I didn't have the opportunity.
