Not my prefer place for dinner, but breakfast menu seems promising!…read more We came here on a Saturday night and the place was half full. The decoration is nice a cozy. Feels like you are in a house with multiple rooms and intimate places to seat. During summer they have a outdoor patio, perfect to enjoy a brunch outside. The menu is traditional polish, stronger on breakfast/brunch than dinner. Breakfast menu is mostly egg dishes: every omelet combination, scrambled or poach. They do have a couple of vegan specials like non-egg tofu-veggies omelette. I love they think about their vegan customers too! Boozy brunch is offered as well! Daily lunch specials of soup + main dish are available starting at 11 AM. For dinner the options were somehow limited. Not many vegetarian dishes, and no daily specials. Tomato soup of course, a couple of salads and meat dishes. Dinner is not their signature. Drinks menu is very good! From wine and beer, to "long, short and shots" cocktails. There's something for everyone. Ambiance is casual and not too loud. Overall, highly recommended for breakfast, brunch or buzzy afternoon with some friends. Cheers!

When we sat, we ordered few dishes but found them to be delicious and hearty. The beef tartar was delicious, presented very well, and was abundant. We also ordered chlodnik, or cold beet soup. That was also very delicious and hearty. The beef tripe was also delicious. Overall, the restaurant is very good. If you were to go inside, it's very small and unassuming. I'd opt in for outdoor seating if the weather allows. While the host/bartender threw me off, the service, server, food, and atmosphere was delicious.

The mushroom soup? Heavenly. The steak tartare? Divine. The duck? I'm still thinking about it. And don't even get me started on the dessert--it was the cherry on top of an already perfect meal. We would return in a heartbeat. Seriously, they deserve that Michelin star, and then some!

If you are fan of vodka this place has a great pairings and lot of different types to choose. We chose beers from small brewery. They also have a selection of wines but not that wide if it comes to wine by the glass unless you want to get the whole bottle. They have nice deal for lunch with appetizer, main and dessert but you can still choose a la carte and this is what we did. Chicken broth--served with veal dumplings. Delicious an rich in flavor. `Szuba` Herring--this deconstruction of classic herring salad was a blast and the fish quality was outstanding. this was definitely one of the best herring dishes we ever had. Its a must try. Black Pudding Tempura "Kaszanka"--black pudding is a very well known polish cuisine staple and this idea of serving it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy outer layer containing warm and delicious inside served with carmelized onions, mustard and cherries was a perfect appetizer. Zuchini flowers--super crispy with delicious filling containing goat cheese and topped with almonds and rice chip. Light, savory and very satisfying. All the dishes had an awesome visual presentation that went with great flavor as well. I highly recommend this place.

We started with the perogi and I'm going to make a very bold statement- these were the best I've ever had, and I've eaten ALOT of perogi. My husband ordered the schnitzel and it was enormous! He said it was delicious and moist, the beans topped with egg on the side were a hit as well, so full of flavor! I ordered the fish burger and it was so good, I was worried when it came and I saw it was fried as I'm not a fan of fried fish but wow was it good. The breading was delicate and flavorful and the fish itself was moist and tasty, and the toppings were top notch. So much flavor and it was huge,I would 100% order again. As a bonus they serve Jan Olbracht beer, which is a favorite of ours. We will be going back here again this week with the whole family, it was fantastic.

Some better than others, but still all yummy. I love the meat, spinach, and mushroom the best. They came out traditionally boiled, but I'm sure this would've been even better had they been fried. 29PLN/$6.75 Herring Tartare...I enjoyed this appetizer, but I know herring is not for everyone. Its a mix of fish, onion, cucumbers, capers, mushrooms and french mustard. 17PLN/$4 Glasses of wine, I got two lovely pinot grigios. FREE spiced feta cheese spread with bread...this was wonderful, and I'm shocked they're not charging for this! I highly recommend visiting Poland, you get so much for your American dollar! This was a great meal for only $23ish! Also in Poland, taxes are already included in the price, and tipping is not required! Though I always tipped a 8PLN/$2 or more if service was good, as it certainly was here.

My wife and I decided to go with the potato pancakes with her having the spinach and blue cheese while I had the spicy beef. Let me say that it's title (translated to English) does not do it justice as the potato pancake was in fact a deliciously crisp and tasty potato rostie loaded with our selected toppings. We had a beer and a few glasses of wine to go with the meal and al up the bill was under $40 - great value.
