This woman was plain old rude and seemed annoyed that I would not just schedule a "free consultation". I get it, free is free, but knowing a ballpark price of an office visit is pretty standard. I'm happy to pay for it. And I have great insurance, am a great patient, and have the ability to refer a lot of people your way. The attitude and flippant remarks "I don't mess with that." when asked if there was someone else to speak to, are amazing considering the cost of advertising and ability to see other FM doctors out there. I called you remember? I'm interested. Sad that she is the gatekeeper to what seems to be innovative doctors. Hope they see this and rethink that position. We all know FIRST IMPRESSIONS are huge. He told me to wait at least a year after my surgery and if after that we were not having any luck to come back. A year passed and I scheduled another appointment, he was very clear about what the plan he wanted to do to help get me pregnant was, and what he was comfortable prescribing and recommending. Unfortunately I had a complication from the medication he prescribed and had to have surgery, but the entire process, surgery included he was so kind, gentle and reassuring. He never overstepped or tried a medication or plan that was outside of his personal comfort. Even though I have to see a specialist now, Dr. Fountain truly was the best GYN to help us along our journey to start a family and I'm very thankful for his entire office. Everyone is always so helpful and kind, and even when I got bad news they were so gentle with their words and their efforts to make sure I had everything I needed. Cannot recommend them enough.

They still charged me $50 for doing basically nothing. When I got to the ER (after waiting there for hours), they did not even stitch me up and used skin glue instead to close the wound. The ER expressed frustration for me, saying that urgent care easily could have done that for me. So, I am pretty upset with my experience here and will not be back.

I rarely leave reviews, but this appointment was so unsettling that it has stayed with me for…read moreyears. The front desk staff was kind, and check-in was easy. However, after being taken to the exam room and changing into a paper gown, I waited nearly 45 minutes alone without anyone checking in. It was uncomfortable and left a poor first impression. When I finally saw Dr. Soufi, she apologized for the delay and was pleasant, but I didn't feel my concerns were fully heard. I discussed a history of ovarian cysts, recent symptoms, and questions about perimenopause and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). My concerns about the cysts were not evaluated further, and no ultrasound or additional testing was ordered. What troubled me most was being told I would likely never be a candidate for HRT simply because I had leukemia. Leukemia is not a hormone-sensitive cancer, and many blood cancer survivors can be considered for HRT based on their individual medical history. I was surprised that such a definitive statement was made without discussion of my specific circumstances or a willingness to explore the latest evidence or consult with my oncology team. During our conversation, I also shared the emotional impact my cancer treatment had on my fertility. I was told that I could "just adopt." While I'm sure the comment was well-intentioned, it felt dismissive of a deeply personal loss and lacked the empathy I needed in that moment. After the exam, we continued our discussion in her office, which was extremely cluttered with paperwork, empty water bottles strewn about, and patient records visible on the desk. That added to my discomfort. I truly respect that many patients have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Soufi, particularly in obstetrics. My experience, however, was not a good fit for my gynecologic and menopause care. I later sought a second opinion, where my concerns were taken seriously, imaging was ordered immediately, and a complex 6.5 cm ovarian cyst was discovered. I'm grateful I trusted my instincts and continued searching for the right physician.
