I responded to an email that said they were doing a casting call. I went to the casting call and after a 2 hour sales pitch that explained how you had to pay for their super expensive acting classes and then you will be given the opportunity to be connected to talent agencies. Inspire Talent is not an agency it is acting lessons and connections. If you are okay paying a 1-2 grand for that then I am sure they are a great organization. The one star is because of their shady tactics. They send over a script a couple days before to have your child start practicing for their "audition" when in reality there is no audition it is just a tactic to get your child pumped up on the idea of being a star. I can almost guarantee that all the children who "audition" are given a call allowing them to sign up for the classes. It wasn't until about 8:30pm on a school night when the "auditions" started. I was called the next day and told that 2 of my children were a yes and 1 was a maybe they just needed to talk to him and see if he was committed. They set up an appointment for me to come back that night to discuss further, again a school night. I dragged my children back again for our appointment and was made to wait an hour while they finished their other appointments ( I saw a lot of the people from the night before) . After 45 minutes of waiting I asked if I could see someone else since the lady I had an appt with was busy and I saw that the owner wasn't doing anything and still no one came to me. Since it was getting late again I left much to the disappointment of my children who thought they were special and were going to be movie stars. This happened a couple of months ago and I decided not to leave a review then but yesterday I saw one of their Facebook ads for another audition so I left a comment about how it wasn't worth showing up unless you were willing to spend some serious money for acting classes and my comment was deleted and I am unable to leave another comment. I auditioned with Inspire Talent to try and get my dream job. However, after lots of research and advice from those in the industry, this "scouting agency" is definatley not the way to get an agent. They say all the right things and lure you in with pomises of stardom, training and all their access to the industry. But then they will ask for money up front by pitching you their package. These packages are in order to "train" you and are thousands of dollars! That's how you know that they are a rip off. When they ask for money up front, just walk away. This is one of those 'legal scams' because they do offer a service for a price. They may even get you an agent! But don't be surprised when you don't hear back from them. They sell you based on your lack of knowledge about the industry. You should NEVER have to pay that kind of money just to be represented by an agent. An agent recieves 10-15% of what you get paid for jobs. Therefore agents have an incentive to find you work. The other reg flag is that Inspire Talent is missing from the list of 'Professional Representatives' on the SAG-AFTRA website. That means that the industry itself doesn't even recognize Inspire as a legit agency! It is a competitive industry and the advice from reputable agencies for local training is to take classes at the Denver Center for Performing Arts. I walked into Inspire Talent with nothing but a dream and 30 year old high school drama club experience. Without the training and guidance provided by the team at Inspire that's all I would have today. I learned things as basic as how to create an effective resume for the performing arts which resulted in successful auditions in multiple productions. I also learned confidence and methods for improving my acting skills. I now have an IMDb profile that includes everything from short films to feature length films. Total scam! Do not give your money to these people. I wish I had been given this same advice almost 4 years ago. I was a fool and gave then $2495 and literally got NOTHING in return. We live 4 hours from Denver and my 14 year old daughter could not go to Denver for their classes and acting lessons and they told me I could switch her contract to my son's girlfriend who could go to Denver and then they stopped returning my phone calls and kept telling me lies. This company is a scam. All I can say is that they scammed me by making my daughter want to sign up. After I paid them $2495, I was told we would be traveling to Denver for all the workshops. It is four hours away from our house. I have been trying to get them to come to some sort of agreement for over 2 years to give me a refund or transfer my account to a friend. Miranda told me in January that she would work with me and has since not returned my phone calls. I have been trying to contact them and left messages and emails for 3 months and no response. This company takes your money and then does nothing for you. Beware! The only thing they did for my daughter was have her interview, tell her she was good and take our money. SCAMALERT #SCAMALERT #SCAMALERT This is an honest review of Inspire Talent after going thru their 6 month program. They DO use tactics to entice you to sign with them which involve making themselves seem as though they have "connections" in LA and NY. They make it sound as if you will have the top end agencies come to see you here in CO. They will even have a rep from LA talk at that introductory meeting about how they "heavily recruit " here in CO. Once we started their program, that's were I saw things get "murky" right away. They said we were being trained for the famous "showcase", where it all will happen with reps from everywhere coming to see you. Now the training involves several times a week, 3 -3 1/2 hours each night as well as Saturdays. Many nights and also Saturdays we witnessed lack of planned activity where adults and kids are dragged thru mindless activities where the focus was not on the individual strengths and weaknesses, but rather on a later "meaningless" group activity that you will find out after the show, doesn't bring you any benefits whatsoever, rather it tries to make the "director" look like he knows or can put on a great show!! Also, the communication between us and Inspire was "rough" or "prehistoric", When we didn't get a schedule, or something wasn't communicated to us, they continuously say "but we sent you the info" or "oh, we didn't have your correct contact info" anytime they would drop the ball on an issue. Complete BS from them! They know exactly what they are doing, feed you BS after BS as they prepare you for the "showcase". That's when the money grab really starts. Not only are you being whipped from side to side as you believe this "showcase" will be your ultimate opportunity, but we were being lied to as to what our possibilities of getting work ASAP, will be (we told them before signing up, we have experience in industry already, we need you to connect us to major players here in CO and elsewhere). Then the "showcase" comes, not only is it done only for family members present, but then you see that the "major reps" are only 2 people from CA!!!! (Not from any major agency btw) Also, if you looked at them carefully like I did during the showcase, they couldn't seem more uninterested at times. The kicker was that, they left before the showcase ended, almost an hour before, because they were going to miss their "flight home"!! So hours upon hours for months and months only to finish doing the showcase for your family members!!!! And then they will have the nerve to tell you, "oh no, the showcase isn't the real grand opportunity, no, you need to pay to go to another audition showcase in CA"!!!! Please do yourself a favor, hire a modeling or acting coach for $200 a month, you will get better training than at Inspire, and when you are ready book a flight to LA or NY and go for an open audition..... don't give your hard earned money to these THIEVES!!!!! #SCAMALERT read more

So your son or daughter is looking for thieir 'break' in to the big time. The only problem you have is that you live in podunk and don't really see a lot of talent scouts passing through town. That is until Inspire Talent comes a knocking through Facebook and announces that their searching for the next TJ Max commercial star or perhaps the next Disney sensation. It seems like the real thing as they set up your audition appointment and provide you with the audition material. As you drive to the hotel an hour away, your child eagerly waiting their opportunity to be discovered, you even stay to think to yourself that maybe there is something to this whole audition thing. As you arrive at the hotel, you see the multitude of other dreamers waiting grasp their chance at stardom. But that's when small town beliefs meet big town reality. We appreciate your interest but you're not what we're looking for. No big deal really. Kids can handle a little disappointment these days, and maybe they don't get enough of it; who knows? But it doesn't end there because it turns out that your just a small town hick and you've been going about things the wrong way. Thank goodness for We Inspire Talent (WIT) because they've come prepared to help your aspiring young Zac Efron or Selena Gomez to achieve their greatness. For a mere $250 up to $595 the good folks at WIT can get you started with your very own headshots (something I would've related to harvesting a wild animal but are actually just Senior Picture style photos). What good would it do to have a great looking set of headshots without a venue to "Showcase" them? Again, your in luck. You guessed it, WIT, had you covered there too. For the low, low price of only $1095.00 (UP TO $5400.00 for the Platinum package) WIT will step up and start promoting your child with someone else whose important enough to be able to actually help your child audition for real. I realize my review doesn't sound overly kind. After spending the whole afternoon trying to explain"bait and switch" to my daughter and trying to help her realize that the audition was nothing more than a storefront to the real product WIT was selling, I'm not really feeling all that kind at the moment. Needless to say, we didn't buy anything from WIT and the whole experience has been an education. The folks from WIT were very kind to my daughter when she didn't perform to their expectations. They even offered some constructive criticism that helped my daughter process the rejection much better (for that I'm giving them a second star). Now I realize that headshots and showcases are actually party of the industry. WIT is likely a legitimate business in Denver. In larger cities, where there are companies routinely seeking talented folks to carry their message to the masses, companies like WIT may serve to bridge the gap between young artists and the talent agents who represent them. Bout to come to a small town promising a shot at a big name commercial seems cruel, at best. read more

What can I say? Miranda and her incredible crew has changed our lives. When our son, Justin, was asked to sign-on to represent Inspire Talent at the Industry Network Nationals in LA 18-months ago, we had no idea the impact it would have on us. The coaches she brought in to work with him--sometimes one-on-one--were amazing! He was able to sign with a fantastic agent and manager in Hollywood. He's had opportunities to meet and perform for many big-name Hollywood casting directors, and we are just waiting for his 'big break' to happen. And it WILL happen! He is able to go into his auditions completely prepared because of his training with Miranda and Inspire Talent. Miranda and her staff are incredibly supportive, positive and encouraging. I know that she would help Justin in any way she could. She's become a mentor AND a friend. We are thankful to have her in our lives. She is the reason my son is chasing his dreams. I would recommend Inspire Talent to anyone wanting to break into the entertainment business. This is the BEST way for local talent to get some Hollywood recognition. read more

I am a parent of a child who has worked with Inspire Talent. We have been extremely happy with our experience. Miranda and her staff are passionate about they do. Miranda is knowledgable about the performing world, very responsive and encouraging, and she has great resources to offer. Our daughter had multiple amazing photo shoots, hours and hours of individual acting lessons, singing lessons, resume assistance, comp card creation, runway instruction and more. She learned about scene study, audition technique and presence. She was exposed to multiple opportunities in front of agents and became more comfortable auditioning and performing. Her confidence has increased. Yes, there is a cost to the sum experience, just as there is a cost to a chid's basketball team signup, gymnastics coaches fees, soccer uniforms, etc. Like other children's activities, there are some financial burdens. We are happy with the investment we made as our daughter now has an agent and a manager. We are not sure where she will go from here, but we are grateful for the exposure, training and support she received from Miranda and the rest of Inspire Talent. read more
