I told the two employees that I just needed a minute to look at the menu. They went back to the kitchen for 7 minutes talking loudly and I had to yell back that I was ready. The shop is tucked away right behind Speedway with ample parking, though the storefront is hard to see off the main road (23 across from Martins). My favorite is the double chocolate chunk, but pairing it with a second cookie and milk is a good choice! One of my favorite college places moved to South Bend! You ever get that late-night craving for cookies but don't want to mess up your kitchen? This is the cure for that! You can walk in the door and walk out with fresh baked cookies! Honestly, you don't even have to leave the comforts of your couch, they deliver until 3am. This is the part where I should break down all of the flavors and tell you how awesome they are, but I can't. I get the same thing every time: deluxe peanut butter cup! It's a peanut butter cookie with Reese's baked into it. Seriously, unless you're severely allergic to peanuts, try it! And if you have a mild allergy, try it with some benedryl! read more

These cookies are so fire. Everytime i order them they are warm and soft, and its so cool you can get super fresh delicious cookies delivered at night. This place was recommended by a friend from work and he said in passing that I just had to try them. I was in the mood for something sweet and decided that this was the perfect opportunity to pop in and see what I was missing. I wasn't sure what to expect from them, but biy am I glad I gave them a try! They are so delicious! I tried one of their Monsterwhiches and was surprised how tasty! It never crossed my mind to put a warm cookie with ice cream, but once I took a bite I was blown away! It was a most excellent pairing! The melting ice cream is like the dunking of ice cold milk only sweeter. I admit I was unable to finish the huge treat, but it was worth the time to get it. I built mine with one peanut butter cookie and one double chocolate cookie and the middle mash was made from snickers bits, reeses pieces, cookies and cream ice cream and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie that they mash up and stick in the middle. It was awesome! You can build one with any cookie from the traditional menu any ice cream and any two toppings that they offer. How would I rate me service well it was almost impossible to get service. Lady who had been outside smoking cigarettes was scooping ice cream 2 feet in front of my face and didn't even have the audacity to acknowledge my existence. Then after she finished scooping the ice cream she went to the back where there were 2 other employees and they just sat there and talked to each other for 20min mean while new customers were walking in the front door. No one was helping anyone. Shouldn't have to walk into the kitchen after 20min of 0 service nor even a simple high or hello to acknowledge our existence. Pretty sad. The employees rather gossip and smoke cigs here rather than help paying customers. Very sad. I have pictures of employees smoking cigs while the lobby is full of customers not being attended to. The other customers were just as confused as we were. Ended up getting a couple cookies which took over an hour from when we stepped in the front door. Maybe instead of being on your phones, talking crap about customers, or smoking cigs out by the dumpster you should do a thing called "WORK". Pretty sad I would be embarrassed to work for this joke of a place. Not to mention even after waiting an hour my cookies were still cold and under baked in the middle. Yet you advertise warm cookies. The lights were off so I assumed they were closing but I didn't know because the last time I was there the lights were also off but they still were serving people. I never like to be that guy who comes in right before closing to buy something but this is insomnia cookies. it's meant to stay open past normal hours. Anyway, I would've been fine if the door was locked, or someone said, "Sorry, we're closed!" Went into Insomnia Cookies today because my son wanted to get some for his gf. Love the concept, but NOT impressed with the place. The girl behind the counter had the personality of a wet dishrag, didn't greet us or say anything to us at all until she told my son the total for his order (I'm the one who told him he still had one more cookie to add to his order of 6). There was one other employee that we saw and she had a look on her face like she didn't really want to be there. The cookies themselves smelled amazing, but left a lot to be desired. They were super greasy (buttery?), limp, & soggy. Seemed like they needed to be put back into the oven for a few more minutes. Not only do they take hours and hours and hours to deliver your food, sometimes they just decide not to deliver it at all!!!!!!!!! I had a delivery for Valentine's day and they called to reschedule the time because they were busy. Completely understandable since it was V-Day. The entire day passes and the delivery NEVER COMES. I did not receive one single phone call that day or after explaining why my delivery never arrived. This place is absolutely horrendous and I would recommend going anywhere else for cookies. read more
