Insightful Minds is an outpatient mental health center that offers therapy and psychiatry services. We provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of mental health conditions including: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, autism, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more.
Our specialists are highly trained and passionate about their profession, but most importantly, they are entirely focused on the health and well-being of our clients. Our specialists see children, adolescents, adults, and families.
History
Established in 2009.
Insightful Minds was founded by Cat Dang, D.O. in 2009 with a small office in Newport Beach, CA. Dr. Dang's goal was to integrate expert evaluation, medical treatment, therapy and other treatment approaches for clients in the most effective and accommodating way possible. Along the way, several amazing specialists and staff members with similar goals joined the team. Then, in 2011 a new office was added in Irvine through affiliation with Hoag Hospital. In 2012, the smaller offices were merged into the new Newport Beach location. The new location accommodates multiple waiting and treatment rooms with more space, more comfort, easy access to parking, and easy access to freeways. It allows staff and specialists to collaborate, learn, and continuously improve in a single location where technology, space, and resources are all brought together.
Meet the Business Owner: Cat D.
Cat Dang, D.O. is a caring and detail-oriented physician, with a breadth of mental health and medical knowledge. Dr. Dang now focuses on her private practice as an outpatient psychiatrist at Insightful Minds. Previously, she was Medical Director of Gateways Hospital in Los Angeles, where she was responsible for several mental health inpatient units and residential facilities. She was also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the USC Keck School of Medicine and supervised many rotations of medical students at Gateways Hospital.
