In my opinion this company scams their clients. I had some smoke damage and I called them to do cleanup. They charged me upfront. They sent a guy out to do the work. He had never done smoke damage before. All he did was smear smoke residue everywhere. I ended up having another company come in and do it properly. So basically I paid twice to have it done. Good morning! We are writing because we called to schedule service on Saturday and were told that someone would be out within 2 to 3 hours, but no one came out and we didn't receive a call, text, email or anything to explain. We reached out again yesterday and were told by the customer service rep that he would check with the team and get back to us. He never did, and no one else did either, despite several calls and voicemails left. Today we called and were told that our contract has been completed because there have been 10 visits. It hasn't even snowed 10 times since we started the contract in January 2025. When I called a short time ago to ask for the dates that service was provided, the customer service rep just hung up the phone! I asked if someone from management was available and he replied yes, then refused to allow me to speak to someone. I had a horrible experience. Appointment for deep cleaning was set. Company required i prepay the cleaning cost prior to it being done. Day of cleaning, cleaners were a no show. As most experience during moving, they were overwhelmed with the many tasks, so I suggested that they find a cleaning service to do the final cleaning for inspection. My son found Insider Disinfecting and they agreed to the service, but needed a credit (or debit) card to secure the service. My son provided his debit card and the $321 for detailed cleaning (2 bedroom, third floor apartment) was deducted from his bank account. The issue: they never showed. When contacted, the individual assured my son that the money would be returned to his account, however it never was. For two months now, my son and his pregnant fiancé have been trying to get a return on the $321. When the company refused, my son filed with with his bank for a fraudulent debit charge stating this company charged him without providing service. The bank reached out to Insider Disinfecting and the company had the audacity to send photos to prove a service was rendered - however they sent photos of a house, fully furnished - not the empty apartment that they were asked to clean. My son then called the company back to inquire about these fake pictures and he recorded the call - the employee said he would return the $321 via cash-app (of course, another lie). We have no idea what caliber of cleaning this company is capable of because the service was never provided. However, be warned about attempting to do business with them. Insider Disinfecting has stolen $321 from a young, expectant couple and then went so far as to share false photos with the bank when they were confronted with the fraudulent charge. If you are considering using them, be wary. For the business - don't respond to this review with lies like - you sent a cash app - or no record of their name (Greer). We contracted them for snow removal in ND. They never did a complete job of the property. We had to call them back every time and they never came back. They accessed the inside of the building without approval and stole an expensive shovel. They told me it was put in the laundry room the first time I addressed it. Then when I told them it wasn't there and we wanted it back, they said they wouldn't have even touched our shovel and that they didn't have access to the building even though I have security camera footage of them entering the building. We asked for a refund as we paid for the entire winter upfront and they said they couldn't because they serviced the property already, except they never did a good job. They also provided a picture that had our shovel in the picture, the shovel that had been inside the building that morning. Absolutely do not recommend this company. I worked for them after they texted me asking if I want to fill a quick position for someone who needed curtain cleaning, they told me it would take less then 4 hours and theyd pay me $100. LONG STORY SHORT let me list the mishaps. I hadnt applied since almost a year before om indeed when i asked them how they got my number they showed a very old application and the person who had came before me also had no prior experience and no ladder because most of the curtain were 20ft 2 STORIES TALL. I told the customers theres no way i can get all the way up even with a ladder and i didnt feel comfortable either but they kept pushing me to do it so i left it for last. The job took almost 7 hours and i didnt even start the big curtains. Being there extra long but knowing i wouldnt be able to finish of course i made sure id get compensated for my time and i was told i would by the lady who scheadules. After leaving late i still wasnt paid that day or the day after ir even 3 days after because the job wasnt "completed" but im not sure how anyone could. I had to fight for my money and i was yelled at by the owner of this company on the phone telling me that im just a "sad stupid little girl" who couldnt complete it but now trying to scam him for money?? I told him the 50 he paid me for the 7 hours i was there is way below minimum wage and is illegal but im sure alot of things they do are. The people at the house told me they paid almost 800 dollars.. so why not have an experienced professional come do it instead of a teen? The worst part is that the oldest guy in the house just kept watching me work literally just stare and i cant tell if its just because he wanted to see how i clean but it was super uncomfortable. This company was supposed to do a move out cleaning service and it looked as if the house was not even touched. They showed up a day and a half late at 8 pm and it looks as if they walked in and left right away. They took a deposit and insisted that we give them more money before the service was completed. We told the rep that the service was not completed and he said that they would send another cleaner and never did. After that,we requested the money back since services were not rendered. On Friday April 18, 2025 @ 6:41pm, Kim contacted me regarding a resume I submitted on Indeed to Insider Disinfecting for a cleaning position within this company. she told me that they had a job available on Saturday April 19th, 2025, in Truckee, CA. She advised the job would be an "AirBnB turnover", with payment amount of $140.00, to be paid upon completion of cleaning said property via Zelle or Apple Pay. Upon arrival, I quickly ascertained the job was not an AirBnB turnover. It was a moveout clean. Part of the area to be cleaned was an outside storage area, that was covered in mouse droppings, which Is hazardous and can lead to death if not properly handled. At no time did they mention these details prior to me accepting this assignment. I drove from Reno, NV to Truckee, CA for an AirBnB turnover. I sent a text to Kim advising her that this site was not an AirBnB cleanout and was a moveout clean. I further informed her that I did not have the proper PPE to clean mouse droppings and that I would not complete that task. I then sent her pictures/videos per her request. She responded that you would pay $160.00 for the moveout clean and said, "you don't need to touch the mouse droppings (I was unaware of that) and we were under the impression that is Airbnb". At no time did she mention I would need to bring/use my own supplies and equipment. At that time, had she informed me that I would not be compensated "at time of completion", in full, if I did not clean up the mouse droppings, I would have left and not cleaned the apartment. She did not mention this to me until after I was already driving on my way back to Reno, NV. Where she stated to, "can't you just go buy some gloves and masks and do it"? These items should have been provided or notice given beforehand that I would need to bring. My personal vacuum was broken during the clean as the interior of the unit was not properly maintained. I have repeatedly requested payment, with her stating, "you will get paid, but it won't be $160.00". To date, I have not received any payment from Insider Disinfecting. Nor has anyone replied to my numerous texts/calls Since Sat 4/19. Because I have not received a response or payment I filed complaints with local and state authorities and the Better Business Bureau. We asked for a refund multiple times, and still they have not. We tried to dispute the charge and they sent a picture of a house that is not ours and this is fraudulent. Insider Disinfecting hired my husband to clean some houses that were not even in the area where we lived because we're good people and we love to clean. We drove three hours to clean a house because we wanted to see the area. The house was beautiful, but unbelievably dirty and we only got paid 150 bucks to clean it. I guess we should be grateful that we got paid anything at all after reading all these horror stories about this company. it seems like it was going to be a pretty OK gig he got a couple houses he got paid and then he was called to clean a big B&B, which we have pictures and I mean my husband cleaned it from top to bottom excellent I mean, there wasn't even a piece of dust left and they're trying to say that my husband didn't clean it even though we have pictures that prove he did and they promised us that they were gonna give us $200 for cleaning house but they barely paid my husband $70 and another 50 to it. They are a SCAM! We are in the process of taking them to court and already have the BBB investigating them! We hired them to DETAIL DEEP CLEAN and SANITATION CLEAN so my wife could finally come home to be with the family after my wife's kidney cancer surgery. she ha been with my parents since she was discharged from the hospital because myself and kids were all very sick. I needed the entire main level to be cleaned 1600sqft. So she could home safely. Not only did they NOT clean for us but they charged us $513 the rate to clean 2500 sq ft. and it was only 1600 sq feet. They sent 2 different guys, very unprofessional looking to the house to basically sit and play on their phones until they decided to leave. It's like they saw that my house already looked clean and decided to use it to their advantage and not clean it all. First guy came and played on his phone while pretend cleaning with a dirty rag.When we called to complain they sent him back and he came back for 20min wiped out the bathroom sinks and just left. The 2nd guy came and said he was told to do a few items real quick and told me he is not certified to sanitize.... it is humanly impossible to detail deep clean and sanitize my upstairs 1600 sq feet during the allotted time these guys were here! Plus we have hardwood floors through out the main level and that alone is at least an hour to detail clean, plus 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 hallways, full kitchen, dining room & laundry room! Please do NOT use this company! My wife should've been able to come home and relax in a nice clean sanitized home after being in the hospital for a very important life changing surgery but instead, her and myself had to detail clean and sanitize the whole house ourselves and she got a respiratory infection after having major surgery. The blocked us and kept our money. It was absolutely awful! Please share my post and get the word out about this company. Please do not use them. After settling on date and time, I felt no concern in my selection. That changed very quickly when the cleaners never showed up. AFter several attempts in contacting them, I finally reached a person and rescheduled. After the second no show I called again with no contact at all. After a few hours I called my cc company. These buffoons had the balls to argue and dispute my cancellation thru my credit card. It took three attempts to clear the charges. The owner of this business is not telling the truth. my property manager, a coldwell banker RE agent for 20 years, inspected the property and immediatly contacted me. "I have never seen a more terrible job, the place is dirtier than before!" We then hired another cleaning company to fix Insider Disinfectings 'job' The cleaning company, Squeeky Clean, in business for 12 years had to charge extra because the floooring was so bad "they used some kind of chemicles so we had to wash and scrub the floor 3 times to remove the film and stains left, none of the fans were cleaned, and the kitchen counters had old plate marks and food particles!" was only a small part of her review. We have since received harrassing and threatning calls from the owner, and they had left negative unrelated retalitory feedback on our website. I have requested a refund of deposit with no response, and now am recieving late delinquent notices for non payment of the remaining balance. Stay clear of this company. read more
