Carmel greeted me right at the door and was so friendly and accommodating! If you park in the lot, she will validate your parking ticket for you. Doctor Monica spent over an hour with me for a consultation and adjustment. We spoke in depth about my pain and concerns, and then she explained what she believed we needed to work on. She said she really focuses on muscle therapy, in addition to adjustment, which has already made a world of difference after one visit. I've been dealing with a shoulder injury for 8 years, and it has recently worsened. After one session with her, I am feeling much better. I then had a massage with Alicia, and it complimented my adjustment perfectly! I've never had a professional massage focus time on my head and feet, and it felt so nice! Important to point out, the practice is currently only accepting BCBS insurance. I'm fortunate to have that so I only have a co-pay for the adjustment and massage, but if you don't have BCBS, the massage would be $80, and I'm not sure the cost of the adjustment. Also worth noting is that the office space is so nice! It's clean, modern, inviting, and has spa vibe to it, as opposed to a medical office. Finally, it's located in Gaslight Village, so after my appointment, I ventured to Starbucks for a coffee and to read my book. Great day!

Both sons needed adjustments after being born, both smiled as they were put back into alignment at 1 day old. You can text their office for scheduling! It's vital to go to a trusted chiro, improper adjustments can really damage, but this office has vetted, experienced skill. It's a relief and joy to be patients.

This business has great reviews because they report bad reviews to google!!! . Mine was reported…read moreand now you can't see it. Was told it will go back in after they investigate it for being "inappropriate". The office manager and staff are awfully unprofessional and would avoid apologizing for their mistake. Again, have some self respect, avoid this place. I was a patient here when they first opened. Had no issues. I called to make an appointment for me and my son. I was told my appointment was at 3pm but that I should arrive at least 15-20 minutes earlier to fill out paperwork. I arrived at 2:20 to ensure I had enough time. The office was closed. I saw people walking inside and I knocked multiple times but was ignored. I didn't want to assume they were being rude so I went to the office next door and was told "they close for lunch but should be back by now". I went on google and it said it was closed for lunch until 3pm. So I waited in the lobby. When it was 2:55pm, I got a call from the office to tell me that my appointment redes to be rescheduled because I wasn't there on time to fill out the paperwork. I told Jenna or Jennifer, that I was outside of their door and had been since 2:20. She said she was sorry but even if I was there I didn't have the paperwork ready so she has to reschedule me. I told her I had been there but the door was locked. She said there was nothing she could do. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and I told her I wasn't interested in another appointment, I needed this appointment. Silence. I told her I was then going to cancel my son's appointment for Monday and she said "ok" and hanged up. No question about what his name was. So I called back and asked to talk to the office manager. This woman confirmed what I was told. I explained to her how I was waiting in the lobby as TWO of her employees walked by, opened the door and locked it behind them. I was there on time. She said that they may have thought I was there for the other two offices, (which do not close for lunch) so I could just come the next day. I told her this was unprofessional and she dismissed it. I have an thick accent and can't help but wonder if they would've done the same thing if I was a white lady as those tow women who walked by me did not make any contact or effort to say say as a kind gesture. I want to believe our city is changing but evidently it is not. I did everything right and I did t even get an apology, not one of them came out of the office to talk to me in person even though I told them repeatedly that I was outside of their door, a GLASS door. They just chose to dismiss me and not even given me the human decency of speaking to me in person. I am not a victim, I feel sorry for the doctors who get the bad rep for hiring unprofessional staff who need training desperately. Update: they have replied to my feedback with justifications and zero responsibility. No effort to make things right. The are implying they could take action for accusing them of discrimination when two employees passed me by and ignored me even when I knocked on the door. Then they topped those comments with the same phrase racist people use: we want to keep our staff safe. I was 1 brown woman waiting in a lobby for the o Lu office that was closed. The other two were opened. The more I read their justification the more convinced I am of the lack of professionalism that exist I. The administrative staff at this place they might be friendly with those they know, but the true test of real integrity is in how you treat those who you think have nothing to do with you. Example: the brown lady waiting for 49 minutes to be see, the one who followed the instructions given. They did t see me because it was an inconvenience. And that is the truth.

Dr. Doug DeVries (chiropractor) and Kristen Swann (acupuncturist) are both very knowledgeable, personal, and have helped me immensely over the years. I have had auto accidents, fibula break, and a knee replacement, and every time, they know exactly what to do to get me back on track. Their office space is very comfortable at their East Beltline location. If you have never worked with an acupuncturist or chiropractor before, know that both of them are very skilled at what they do, and can get you back on track from your aches and pains. Highly recommend!

I was scheduled with a chiropractor/acupuncturist without an official diagnosis only because I expressed my interest in whether or not that would help (what I assumed) was my problem.
