I saw both Dr Flynn and Dr Auburn, as they both have certain specialties and complement each other. Dr Flynn was very personable. He took care to understand the health issue I was looking to resolve, and then isolate what was causing it. He has his area of expertise, including Chinese medicine and acupuncture, down to a T. I also got a consultation from Dr Auburn and she knew what was happening and how to improve certain things including figuring out the underlying causes of certain body conditions for me. She is very thorough and wants to ensure she covered all the points I had attention on. The service overall was great and I highly recommend it.

Here's why I never went back: After my second appointment, I took a seat in her waiting room which was empty to look for something in my purse before leaving. It was lunchtime. The doctor sat down near me and, after a couple of minutes, causally told me it was "too bad your parents didn't know about your (genetic) condition before birth so they could have made the appropriate decision." Yes, she actually communicated to me my Mother should have aborted me. I was so shocked I didn't respond. I didn't confront her for her heinous claim I should have been violently killed before birth. If that were to happen today, I'd have a very different response. But the point is I don't trust anyone, let alone a doctor, who has judged me unworthy of my life. This still makes no sense to me some several years later. How could someone say something so terrible to another human being? But it actually happened, and I think the world should know about it. Utterly unconscionable words from a supposed healer.

They said they would not schedule me see anyone else as I was a patient of only this doctor who left, not of their clinic. Which to me did not make sense, they just throw customers of their clinic to the curb because a doctor left? I had this happen with a medical clinic and they just assigned me to another Physician. Next, they told me I could wait a few months as they were possibly getting a new doctor. They did not care that I was in pain. I no longer recommend this place to anyone.

I have yet to hear from her?? You aren't patients to these people, you are money. Once they have it (your money) you get treated like they don't give a f___k. Be wise and take your money to some one who cares to do the right thing. Who will treat you like a patient! If this business had competition they would loose all their patients. It is worth it to travel and be treated right. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they have lost my business for ever. When the MA took me back to a room, I told her my concerns and expressed that the dry skin was slowly making its way down my back. She took her notes, and left the room for about 10-20 minutes. When she returned, an NP was with her. The NP asked to look at my neck, and within a minute told me she would prescribe a pill, water solution, and shampoo/conditioner. Asked if I had any questions and left. She never looked at the patches on my back or told me why this condition could have occurred. She was in the room for less than 5 minutes, but my insurance had a charge for $475. When I arrived at the pharmacy to get my prescriptions, the shampoo and conditioner weren't included. I was told that they got the script, but were unable to fill it at that location, so they weren't sure why it was sent over. I've tried the topical water solution for a few months now, but the dryness is still present. I did not return for my follow up appointment, as the initial encounter felt rushed.

Derm Institute however exceeded my expectations by quite a bit! I came in with a list of ailments and Dr Nartker had quick likely diagnoses and solutions for all of them. I've had an issue with redness and breakouts on my face and he prescribed medication and a topical that started healing a year long problem in ONE week. I am thrilled! Lovely office, stellar doctor (highly recommend Nartker), and solved skin issues! I'd end by saying that I'll absolutely return to this office.. but I'm actually thinking I won't have to return to any office since they've resolved my issues!
