She's 8 now and looks forward to attending every week. We also signed my son up (7 years old) for the Trampoline and toumbling class which started this summer. He is in love. If you've got a little boy who loves jumping on tramps, learning to do flips and all sorts of other things, this is the place. The instructors are extremely nice, and clearly know what they are talking about. They know how to push the kids to do their best, but never yell or get aggressive like you hear about on those gymnastics horror stories. I watch the kids each week from the observation area and I couldn't be happier with the instruction and support they are getting. One last note, this place offers 'day camp' in the summer (basically day care). The kids get to enjoy all the fun of this huge gymnastics center while being watched by the instructors. My kids only went twice this summer, but it was a life saver as far as babysitting goes. The only problem is my kids beg me to let them go every day even though their mom is home to watch them, lol. If your kids have any interest in gymnastics, give this place a try!

(Both competitive long-timers and lots or less experienced students from GSVU) Most importantly, they have super cute dogs that are always there that you can play with! You'll learn the basics at first (climbing, basic foot lock), and once capable they will move you up to the next class. Depending on your ability, you may move up classes quickly or, like me, repeat some classes until you gain enough strength to move up. For your safety only, you will be allowed to advance in classes as your physical ability will allow, and no sooner. They will tell you the truth! If you're afraid of heights, I still recommend it! The intro classes work either from the ground or 6 inches off the ground until you're strong enough to go up higher. I had very weak upper body or core when I started. I am now about 1 year into classes and have improved dramatically, can climb to the top, and do moves I never dreamed of. You will amaze yourself, which is probably the most fulfilling part of it all. If you're looking for a new adventure and open to a session, I highly recommend Aerial 4 Me.

I took a Flow & Shred class at Forever Young Studios with SweatNet recently and had a great time…read more This class focused on mobility, strength, and circuit training with an emphasis on kettlebell handling. Justin is the owner and instructor and he did a great job with one-on-one assistance and instruction throughout the class. He explained proper form and safety and demonstrated each exercise in the shred portion of the class. It was a fun and challenging workout that definitely got me feeling strong. Justin also provides personal training sessions, nutrition coaching, and online training. I liked the small group size which allowed for more personalized coaching even in a group setting. Drop in classes are $20, which seems pretty reasonable. I'm glad I got this opportunity to meet Justin and try a new class. After 1 class at…read moreKula I was hooked and I'll tell you why: This is truly an atmosphere dedicated to growth, acceptance, and kindness. The instructors are inviting and truly take the time to get to know you. They make you feel seen by taking the initiative to remember your name and have conversations with you not only about your practice but your life outside of yoga as well. I've taken classes with Megan, Danea, Byron, Lyric, and Chelsea and I truly look forward to seeing them when I walk in. The Vinyasa classes are my go to for a great workout. The Buti classes are fun and so unique. The candlelit classes provide such a cool atmosphere. Yoga Nidra is a truly out of body meditative experience. They also have workshops throughout the month which aren't included in a monthly membership but with the membership you do get a discount on these! I would love to try the sound bath one day but they are always booked up so quickly. Which must be an indicator that these are phenomenal. I started off with the New Student Special: 30 Days for $35 and went almost every day. This is a great deal if you want to try Kula out first. I now have the monthly membership which comes with some really cool perks like 15% off floats at phlot GR and a once a month guest pass to bring a friend for a class. Maybe one day i'll get my boyfriend to try it out! If you have questions about the membership options the website is helpful and all the instructors are super happy to answer any of those questions. I know I get nervous about going to places for the first time but those nerves were quickly settled once I entered Kula. The instructor checking you in will let you know everything you need to know before heading up. So take that leap of faith and try something new.
