Just recently got back into skating after a 30+ year break. Love family nights and adult nights at Insanity. It would be great if one of the concrete floors was wood!!!! Staff is amazing! I'm not sure my friends and I would be there 2-3x a week if not for Brett and Brian. Having employees that actually love skating is a true asset! Sadly, I learned Brian has been let go. I don't know details, but I know that the rink lost a gem! I took my grandson to the Saturday morning classes and he LOVED them. Brian is AMAZING with the kids and at teaching in general. Brett has been super helpful with our group buying new skates and upgrading wheels! Super friendly and helpful! The girls in the concessions area are always friendly and nice as well! In conclusion, a nice, CLEAN, safe place to be with your family, great exercise and friendly staff. read more

This place is large and there is plenty of parking. This is a family friendly center, however we left around 5 and The staff were kind when approached. They are not the team to greet you first or offer a smile. They have a skate board center, mini golfing, skating, food court, store to buy skate items and more, an arcade, rock climbing, etc. the restrooms are psychedelic where the ceiling walls and floors are this checkered pattern of black and white. The restroom was clean. My review is mainly about the skating area. The music is a mixture of pop, techno, country, and low level hip hop. There is a "DJ" who plays music from the computer but has it pre made. People in my party were able to make requests for songs and it took about two hours for them to play. Right when we were leaving they were played. They offer a holding rail for people or kids who need help skating. There is a security person who skates around and appears to help ppl who fall or are not doing safe things on the skates. Once we were leaving early evening there was a security person at the main door. FYI-The skates are all men's sizes and like many skating places are they are hard on your feet so bundle up on socks. The food was basic kid friendly options. All the sections or activities offered are not open and the same times so check the website for call for information. My party and I came on a Friday midday and skating was only open. There is no WiFi so you have to tune out and enjoy your company. Weird being that it's so large they don't have that option. There aren't a lot of signs with clear information on cost, offering, etc. Maybe prices and hours changes often. Good luck and enjoy! read more

This place has absolutely no public WiFi. At all. None. Well, no. It's actually worse than that. This place actually has abundant WiFi coverage. It's just that the ridiculous assholes refuse to let their own patrons, who are paying them, to use their WiFi. If you are planning on coming here with your kids and hanging out while they rollerskate, then you need a different plan. In fact, given their obvious disdain for the people who come to their establishment, maybe you just need a different plan regardless. Do not come here. read more

Took my 11 year old to skate for her birthday. Complex looks cool, but there were enough parts that were annoying that I'm not planning a return. Mostly just the waiting for service. It looked like there were a lot of employees so maybe a training issue. Skates were a bit of an ordeal. Food service was polite. Waited at the silly ticket toy exchange with a group of kids for 30 minutes before everyone gave up. Manager said someone would be right over about 3 times. No one ever came, but truly those trinkets just end up in the trash 3 days later. Seating tables were dirty. Staff seemed annoyed when another woman asked if they could clean them. All the food staff was sitting eating cake and playing on their phones. Roller rink was a bit dirty (pizza sauce?). Skaters were friendly and guests were nice. No sign on the front of the building so GPS tells you the location. It was a neat idea generally, so may be worth checking out for your family entertainment. read more

If you want to find a safe place to roller skate with your kids or just go out on your own to skate, this is a wonderful location to do it. The complex is really big and spacious, and if you go earlier in the day, it's less crowded. The staff working at the complex are beyond helpful and really care about their guests. There is security everywhere so the likelihood of things getting stolen seems very low. There's also a giant rock climbing wall in there! You pay 8$ and you can hang out and climb as many of the sides as you want! This place is a blast, 10/10 would recommend. read more

My friends and I went to play mini golf here for the first time. They only had 9 of the holes open and it cost us $6 per person. It was lots of fun and the attendant (Matt R.) was very helpful and friendly. They were closing as we left so I wasn't able to speak directly to a manager. Ok I first have to say all the negative reviews are laughable at best. It's over priced? Go somewhere else. The people are rude? No free WiFi? Not every place that has WiFi has it set up as public WiFi smh. Now for my review. I took my son to the skate park and we've been to to arcade. The arcade is an arcade. The reason the games cost so much is they are all "big games" as in you sit in the game or they are the types that move not typical cabinet ones. As for the skate park. I used to skate 15 years ago. My son is 7 and spends way too much time inside on the Xbox. So we both got boards two weeks ago and he's hooked. Jacob was helping him on the mini ramp and he was awesome! Everyone I've interacted with there has been friendly and helpful. People need to realize how rare places like this are. A full professional skate park, full mini golf course, batting cages, roller rink, arcade. The skate park is $6 an hour or $15 all day. That's so cheap. Go to any trampoline park and tell me how expensive that can be. Anyway I 100% recommend insanity complex. We'll be back, probably most if not every weekend. read more

I love how fun this place can be. The staff is great and is able to help out with many problems anyone may have. The only two things I dislike about it is that the music is rarely updated to what is trending now (AKA not much Kpop music) and it is expensive to go to. But if you are military, you get a 10% discount. There were a few employees that were almost depressing when they talked with me as they had very little to no idea of what the area they are in is like. Or if the coffee/froyo is good or not. They have told their employees in the food and beverage department that they need to be following the health code when it came to being around food and have an upbeat attitude regardless if they have had a bad day. This place is a great place to work for teenagers needing a job as they will work with their school schedule. Plus they have a great frozen yogurt shop that has made the best coffee I ever drank. Last I went though, they had to close down the shop due to it losing money. I hope they can get some more business soon so they can reopen the yogurt shop and I can get my Madison Mocha on my way to school/work read more

Overall it is a nice facility but it is waaayyy overpriced! Most of the games in the arcade cost $1 to play and this goes VERY fast when you have a small one. They charge for assist bars to skate with and they charge every time you open your locker even after you have paid for it. The people that work here are very friendly and helpful but I think it could be better managed and the prices could come down on some of the stuff. read more

My kids and I went roller skating at Insanity Complex in Madison. My kids we're beginner skaters and needed the assist bars. We had to wait for an hour for someone to return an assist bar so my kids could skate. They took turns using the one assist bar we could get. I spoke with the manager, Ollie who stated several of the bars we're broken. I explained that my kids could not skate without them, he didn't care. I left a message for the general manager, Brenda. I received a call a week later from Brenda's assistant, Lauren ( if I remember correct). I explained our experience during our first visit to the facility. She stated, she would talk to Brenda and call me back. She never called me back! This is how this company treats their customers!! read more

I grew up in Madison, and the coolest thing we could do with friends was hang out at the (then) 24 hour Kroger, or go to Hunrsville. Wonk wonk wonk. When this place opened I did not know what to expect. I am now a mother of two boys, and this place is like going to Disney World for them, and great fun for me. I love that it's close by -- and for the offerings, their prices are all reasonable. I am so happy they opened, I only wished it was around when I was growing up here. Had a pleasant experience with some friends playing putt putt except when I almost got a hole-in-one only for my ball to be stopped by a PILE of leaves. I'm not talking about a couple of leaves here and there but taking our clubs and sweeping off the courses. Other than the fall-themed green of the course, it was a delightful time. read more

This place is lots of fun! My husband and I brought our boys 11 and 13 on a Sunday afternoon and they did the rock wall and roller skating. The place is clean and well staffed, and has so many things to do! They enjoyed trying the different rock wall challenges, and then skated for hours, did the skating race and the limbo challenge, while we sat comfortably at one of the tables that border the rink. There's a nice eating area with the usual fare, though we just bought water. The music was not too loud either, so you could actually talk. We will definitely be back. read more

The staff is great here. The first time I brought my son, two different employees noticed he was a beginning skater. They both gave him useful pointers and seemed genuinely interested in helping him enjoy the experience. A week later, we're back. One of the staff from last week warmly welcomed us back. The floor seems a bit less forgiving than other skating rinks. It feels like painted concrete. They have complimentary cold water in small cups from a water cooler in a concession area and the prices for food and drink seem reasonable for a place like this. My daughter loves going here! There is no time limit for how long you can skate (except when they are closed duh)...we all know how the trampoline parks and other activities around town have time constraints so it's nice that you can skate then stop for a snack and play some games then skate again without checking the time every 5 seconds lol. I have to say that even when there are birthday parties going on there is still plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the games and the rink. There's lots of places to sit around the skating rink so Grandparents or anybody that might not want to skate can still enjoy the fun! The staff is great! They understand that little kids sometimes need lots of help and they are fine with parents walking on the rink wearing their tennis shoes or flip-flops while they're helping their little skater. I was served a hotdog without a bun. The teenagers behind the counter acted like they didn't know what to do. I asked for my money back, and they said they couldn't refund my money on food. I said but it hasn't even been served to me. So the young man said he could cut it in half and put it on two hamburger buns.... I also had an issue at the Sugar Plum Village. During my time there Brenda the general manager can up to my vendor table asking me "what the f... is this." When I said "seriously" she said, "you damn right I'm serious I'm the general manager here and I run things." I told her, she isn't going to speak to me that way. She said she can speak to me how ever she pleases. I started gathering my items to leave. My family and I will never go back. I didn't serve my country to be treated as if I'm less than. Brenda needs to fired, they deserve no stars. Long story short, I sell personal protection for women and was asked not to bring in my stun guns and pepper spray inside, I said no problem because I have so many other items as well. Went climbing with my all over 18 years of age group tonight. The young men working the rock wall deserve 5 stars! They were out of this world. The management is a different story. They came out more than once to tell the young men to redirect us like we were three-year-olds. We were not a rowdy group, all were completely sober, and two were certified rock climbers. We were even chastised for safety checking our own equipment. I do not advise that you visit this facility if you want to enjoy your time out with your family. read more
