Military friendly! Car broke down in Troy on the way home from 5 weeks at Maxwell and he drove out to us at midnight to change out our alternator in under 30min! Great price, less than $600 including the part and the midnight trip! 300% recommend, super nice guy! Even texted us the next morning checking to see if we were on our way and ok! read more

These guys took incredible care us when our car broke down on a Sunday night road trip. Had me back on the road Monday early afternoon at a great price. Picked the car up and delivered it to us too. Highly recommend these guys - honest and hard working! read more

I can't thank this guy enough for how quickly and courteously he took care of me in my time of need. I was on my way to a medical appointment when smoke started coming up from under my hood on the interstate. I pulled off the road and wasn't getting any help via my AAA app. After it cooled off, I gimped over to my appointment and contacted my mother via text message (I have a disability and don't use voice calling). I don't remember which one of us found this guy online, but she contacted him for me and he was very quick to drive over to my location and start working on my Jeep while I was inside for my appointment. He was also very patient with me while I had to get cash from ATMs to pay him since I couldn't get my Apple Pay to work (user error [mine], no doubt). Anyway, Devaruis I am sorry for taking so long to get this review posted. I have been overwhelmed with an interstate move. My best to you and I hope your business reaps a lot of success!!! read more

I got a diagnosis saying I needed a radiator, decided to get insane auto as a 2nd opinion and i indeed needed a radiator. He responded to my message fast and came to diagnose the same day. The initial plan was to order the part but I really needed my car fixed ASAP! He came the next day and it didn't take long for him to do it, and at an affordable price may I add. He was very professional and had great communication. Highly recommend! read more

So my car had been down for about a month due to the complexity of putting on this a/c compressor. Had several mechanics come through and wasn't able to get the job fully done. I called insane auto repair and he came to me right then and there and put the a/c compressor on fast. Now I'm back riding in the air again. We called Chris, and he was at our vehicle within 30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad starter, took my husband to pick up the replacement part, then came back and installed it. Before he even came out, Chris was upfront about the small diagnostic/travel fee, and once he confirmed the issue, he explained the labor cost before doing any work. The labor charge felt very fair for an emergency mobile repair that got us back on the road so quickly. One thing to know is that he only accepts cash, so be prepared if you need his services. If we had waited until the next day to have the van towed to a shop, we would have spent much more on a hotel, towing, and the repair itself. Instead, Chris saved our family a lot of time, stress, and money. We made it all the way to our destination without any issues. We highly recommend Chris if you're looking for a trustworthy, responsive, and knowledgeable mobile mechanic. We're incredibly grateful he was willing to come out on a Saturday and help get our family back on the road.
