I've been a patient here for over a decade. Every single provider I've been treated by has been…read moreexceptional. The whole staff - the doctors, the nurses, the PAs, the phlebotomist - has excellent bedside manner. There have been few and far between front desk staff that can be kind of gruff but they're likely as frustrated as the patients are, so I can't blame them! I remember one day I called in with a sort of an emergency issue. The man who answered went out of his way to find a time for me to come in in the next few days to address the issue. He didn't say "sorry we're full" rather he took the time to check for the soonest available appointment and volunteered up he would put me on a waitlist if something came up sooner. I was there today to get a physical and everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly, listened to me, and addressed my concerns with care. Special mention to the phlebotomist- she held my hand during my blood draw and chatted with me about my life and day. Completely took my mind off the anxiety of it all. As I have for the last decade+, I left happy, feeling like all my concerns had been addressed. I love PW Family Medicine and couldn't imagine going anywhere else!!!

Nurse thanked me and said she would forward to the provider (Catherine Matkowski). On Monday at 8:30 am the office sets up a video call for 3pm. At 2pm, the provider sends a MyChart message that nobody has responded to the nursing staff and she doesn't have the information from me, but filled out the form to the best of her ability. Nobody shows up to the 3pm video visit. Is it possible that nobody in this office talks to each other? I called to follow up to see if the nurse gave the info to the provider. The male office staff continues to read my conversation verbatim. "Can we ask the nurse if she gave the information to the provider?" He proceeds to read my the messages from MyChart again. I thank him but let him know that I have access and ask if he can ask whether the nurse gave me the information to the provider he reads me the same message from MyChart...that he just read... which implies that the nurse did NOT give the information to the provider. He refuses to let me talk to anyone else and keeps interrupting and talking over me. While I have REALLY enjoyed Michelle Alvarado and Jacklyn Rector, I am hesitant to recommend this office as it seems nobody talks to each other and the male reception staff is argumentative, dismissive of women, and unable to answer simple questions.

As a Lyme literate functional medicine doctor, Dr. Malik is very knowledgeable and experienced and…read moredives deep into root cause medicine. I had seen 9 doctors/specialists with no diagnosis, and she was able to run tests and find out the cause of my mysterious symptoms. She takes a holistic approach, emphasizing changing your eating, getting enough sleep, movement, reducing stress and using various modalities to treat. I appreciate her ability to prescribe regular medicines as well as treat with 3rd party researched supplements and herbs. Although it's all an out-of-pocket expense and treatment takes awhile, I have finally been able to feel better and get my life back. The office is very clean, mold free, and relaxing too. Thank you!

Go somewhere else esp if you have any health issues or allergies. Mystery pills they prescribe i don't approve of at all. Waste of money and energy and ended up bed ridden for 2.5 months due to several adverse reactions to their " treatments. " Too much to get into but in brief the pills interfered with medications I take to live and function, this is most recent. Last year anaphylaxis twice from the random stuff taken. If I had the energy and time ( which I've lost due to their practice) - I'd possibly bring a suit for malpractice. Fortunately for them, I was robbed of both. Just to note I take full responsibility for agreeing to take stuff the company wasn't even sure of the effects or ingredients . This being said, after the first reaction i agreed to substitute something else, same issue. This is after telling the practice my health issues , meds I have to take to stay alive, and endless allergies. At one appointment the physician was not aware a suggestion she made contained a certain ingredient. That's malpractice at worst , or simple ineptitude at best. Footnote- I take responsibility for continuing to try different drugs despite the doctors several mistakes. ( they were aware of what I could/couldn't do and the medications I have to take to stay alive. I figured I'm already in maybe see where this goes, huge mistake. ) Several times. Then at one appointment made a suggestion I had to correct. ( that enzyme landed me in the hospital last year. I looked your suggestion up it's almost identical ). " oh yeah" If that's not incompetence the patient knows more than the physician I don't know what is. They couldn't bother? Or are merely incapable? Who knows.

This is the group you want to be with. The people leaving negative reviews about this practice…read moreclearly haven't experienced the kind of care you receive at a larger, impersonal office. Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.
