I do have a girl on Long Island that cuts my hair, but the hair cut Casey gave me?? I don't think anyone can cut my hair the way she did. Beautiful salon and all the ladies were so nice. I highly recommend this salon

I had very high expectations for this salon after reading some of the reviews…read more First thing about this salon that irritated me was that my stylist did not wash my hair even though she was not working with another client at the time. A young girl who must have been the shampoo girl/ janitor shampooed me and did not engage in any conversation. Next I went to the station of the stylist with whom I was scheduled. I showed her a picture of what I was wanting. She started to cut for a few minutes and then said she was going to dry me first then finish the cut. Long story short, I kept asking her to please use the texturizing shears as my hair is very thick and heavy - and she proceeded to tell me that my hair is naturally curly (which it's not) needless to say, my hair cut cost me $75 with a tip which wasn't deserved but I was put on the spot by the salon cashier when I used my debit card. The end result was that my hair was 1 inch shorter on one Side than the other and I asked for a few wispy bangs and ended up with a clump of short bangs in the front of my head. I was so embarrassed I wore a hat all weekend until I could find a qualified stylist to fix my hair on Monday which only cost me $50 and was a great cut with exactly what I wanted. The new stylist couldn't believe the crappy haircut I was given for $75. Lesson learned ...........high price haircut doesn't always equal a quality haircut.

THE WORST hair salon experience of my life. Rude, incompetent, unprofessional and discriminatory,…read morethis place should be AVOIDED at all costs. I called before showing up to confirm that they handle textured hair. They said that's what we do... However, From the moment I walked in, I was treated like an inconvenience. They had me waiting for over an hour the first time, then complained about "too much textured hair" and forced me to come back a month later with my hair half done -- looking worse than when I arrived. They also blew my hair out too. My hair was curly and shrunk again a few hours after I left. I arrived first thing in the morning on my day off just few minutes late my second appointment, and Kaylee -- unskilled, disrespectful, complains a lot, who handed me over to an apprentice because I have too much hair -- refused to touch my hair, citing my "lateness," even after I explained the road issues and the fact that they didn't seem to value others time the first time around. Kaylee harped AGAIN on how much hair I have. The owner then told me they refuse MY service. Thats when I KNEW this wasn't because of being a few minutes late, it's something else and their micro aggressions spoke volumes about that. Let me be clear: this wasn't a minor annoyance that I paid $450 dollars for the first time for a job half finished, I was treated with blatant disrespect, microaggressions, and racial bias. This salon is a nightmare for anyone with "textured" hair. Rude, careless, unprofessional, and frankly, racist. Do yourself a favor and run, do NOT waste your time or money here.

Instead of standing…read morebehind their service, the salon told me I now need to return every month for trims at $55 each for at least six months to slowly fix the problem. That means I have to spend hundreds of dollars just to repair the damage caused by them in the first place. This is extremely unfair and very disappointing. When you go to a salon, you expect your hair to be treated with care -- not ruined and then used as an opportunity to charge you more. I would strongly caution anyone considering a keratin treatment here.

Fistfuls of hair burned and falling off, inches from the scalp. My hair looks like what you'd see in bleach fail videos. She was occupied by talking on her phone and eating chicken wings from Hooters. When I approached Lanie about it she angrily said "What do you expect?!". She also reminded that the last person who asked for a refund was told to "get the f*** out!". She didn't so much as offer a conditioning treatment (as if it would have helped). This is 6 months of growth and I've since had to cut off 8 inches of unrepairable hair. It will take years for the rest of my hair to recover.
