By then, our symptoms had worsened significantly--I developed severe allergy-like reactions, and my husband's eyes became extremely red and irritated. When I spoke with the manager, Brett Sherman, he outright denied the presence of mold, offered no apology, and even laughed at me. My husband, who works in high-end real estate in Los Angeles, sent a photo of the air vents to a mold inspector he's worked with for over 20 years. The inspector said the growth strongly resembles Aspergillus, though of course, proper testing is required to confirm that. Regardless, it was completely unprofessional for the staff to dismiss our health concerns, deny the visible issue without proper evaluation, and refuse to acknowledge the inconvenience and harm caused. We weren't even offered an apology for the delay in moving rooms or the resulting illness. Attached are photos of the vents and my husband's eyes for reference.

It was a little further from town than I thought and taking a golf cart all the way there wouldve probably taken 30+ minutes, so Im glad we drove. The pool area does leave a little to be desired though. It is full sun, in an awkward after-thought space, and unappealing. May I suggest getting several Areca palms, or Fishtails to grow tall along the west side to block that scorching afternoon heat. Maybe string up some lights and build a pavilion on the north or east side for gathering. It definitely needs some sprucing up. Other than that it was a great stay!

It was super fun to see the different themes of each room, from art deco to different antique themes. Rooms have different sized beds and locations which open to the interior of the inn towards the kitchen and sitting area. It was great to talk with the owner and hear how he acquired the different pieces of furniture throughout the building. Glad that we took a chance and stayed at this family owned gem.

We won't be back…read more We booked and paid for an OCEAN FRONT room at the Hilton Marco Island. The 07 line is OCEAN VIEW NOT OCEANFRONT like we paid for. They know this. In fact while we were standing in line at the front desk to voice our concerns, another couple standing next to us also had the exact same complaint. What are the odds that you walk up right next to the people w the exact same complaint. When i mentioned that the manager must receive a lot of complaints on this she rolled her eyes and told us she didn't. Although two other staff members (one bellman that took us to our room and another that was bringing food/room service to a room on our floor) said they get complaints all the time. Mallory, who says she's the manager, felt compelled to roll her eyes and scoff ar our complaint and as you can see from the pictures, we definitely have a southern view which is just an ocean VIEW. NOT what we paid for. They know what an ocean front is because the rooms on the other side of the hallway have what they call a Juliet balcony, picture attached, which is oceanfront. When talking to a second manager on the second day, we were told those people just know how to place their reservation as if we're supposed to know something that they knew. At this point 2 different managers, no apology. We have gone through two managers and Hilton honors since we're Gold members and are still working on getting this rectified. These 2 managers have figured out how to manipulate the situation to those of us spending considerably more money just for this view. James is the 3rd mgr we are being pushed to while wasting our vacation time. Also parking is self parking only although it says on their website they offer valet. Self parking costs $40 a night not including other resort fees. You will see our view was looking direct at the building next to us and south and in the in the second and third pictures, you will see the Juliette balcony the room across from us has. (Same price). Cleaning lady was nice enough, in between customers, to let us go in to take a look at it. Lastly, all unsecured Wi-Fi. No secured Wi-Fi available throughout the entire building and almost no reception being on the ocean.

We enjoyed breakfast both mornings as well. The hotel does feel slightly outdated, but it was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints about our stay. The only thing worth noting is thatthe shower experience was rough for me. It was a nice shower, but the water pressure was very aggressive (which is uncommon for hotels, so points to them). That wouldn't be an issue, except that the angle the shower head was at (and you couldn't adjust it) made the water bounce off my shoulders and into my face constantly. The shower was quite small as well, so there was no room to move out of the way. The entire time I was showering, I was sneezing, my eyes were burning, and I was getting water up my nose-- and, because the shower was fully sealed, I kind of felt like I was drowning. My fiancé didn't have any issue; I'm assuming it was a height thing (he's about 6" taller than me). Either way, not a dealbreaker and not the fault of the hotel by any means, but if you are under 5' 4", just be advised.

Outside the common area with hammocks and tables to eat outside if you like. They have chaise lounges and beah chairs for everybody to use. Hot water, good AC, wifi and everything you need to cook (microwave and stove..no oven) Sunset at the beach and spending part of the night just there chillin...this place make it possible We cant wait to come back Its ..again..a great place to stay No photos...i just realized that. We were just living the moment.
