We searched Yelp for a nearby studio with a class that was appealing and we found that this new Midtown East CPY studio had a Core Power Yoga 2 class that morning... we weren't sure we'd make it, and we walked in just a few minutes before the class started, but the ladies at the front desk worked with us to get us registered and into the class and we were so appreciative. Kelsea W was our teacher and she was fabulous... she had some unique sequences that allowed my mind to focus on the present moment and just move / enjoy the class. Needless to say, it was exactly what I needed! The studio itself is spacious, offers lockers, bathrooms, water refills, a bit of a retail store, mats, towels, and more... So yes, CPY is a chain, but it's consistent and if you find the right teacher / class, you'll get just what you need in that moment. Thanks again, Kelsea!

We've had the chance to take classes both in the mornings and evenings, and have likely practiced with most of their instructors at least once. The class schedule is great, and with our membership, booking spots for the high-demand classes isn't a hassle. We've had no trouble getting off the waitlist for early morning sessions either. All of the instructors have been friendly and excellent to work with, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Even when classes are full, the space doesn't feel too cramped, which makes for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this location!

Once again, New York Yoga PassBook has allowed me to find another great studio!…read more On a miserable, cold and wet day in New York and soaked to the bone, I found my oasis here at a 5:45pm Happy Hour Yoga class with Erica Whalen. The studio is pretty close to Grand Central terminal, so if you're in the area and in need of some stretching, relaxation and meditation, I highly recommend this studio. The practise room is beautiful and tranquil. I was checked in easily and rented a yoga mat ($2) and waited patiently for the class to get started. Erica is a great instructor. She guided the class with peacefulness and excellent instruction. I really appreciated the corrections and also I welcomed the modifications for my tight hamstrings. Equal amounts of hip openers were offered and also good stretches for tight shoulders and arms. I will be back to take another class and when I am in this area, I will definitely have this yoga studio on my radar. Thanks again for lifting my dreary mood from the weather and making me feel so good after class. Now I only wish Mother Nature was just this kind. Maybe She needs to take a class here too? On top of this, they sent this email to peddle vitamins! And it's chock full of spelling errors (who spells hygiene as higiene?!). What a joke. They issued an apology email (over 12 hours later), after what I only assume was a barrage of outrage from people who were kept on their mailing lists after taking a single class. To make matters worse, there is a link in their "apology" email to visit their website?! Get out of here. Please get re-educated.
