These folks are truly amazing. Struggled with deep muscular issues in my neck and migraines and they helped so much.

After just one Rolfing session, my knee felt noticeably better and my whole body felt lighter throughout the day. What stood out most was how thorough and thoughtful Eric was. It wasn't just hands-on work--he also took the time to explain how my body was moving, showed me how to breathe into my ribs to create better mobility, and gave simple, practical tips for sitting, standing, and walking with better alignment. I left feeling both better physically and more aware of how to support my body moving forward. Looking forward to continuing sessions and would definitely recommend Eric to anyone dealing with similar issues.

I met Susanna as the teacher of a Kombucha class at our local City Market Co-Op. Speaking to her…read moreafter class, I realized she does physical therapy as part of her acupuncture and TCM. As she takes my insurance and as I was still healing from a bike accident, I felt it was time to get some extra help. I have had 7 sessions with Susanna and have felt increasingly better after each session. In addition to acupuncture, she used cold laser and infrared heat, magnet therapy, moxy, combustion, and cupping on me. I feel reduced pain and more relaxed after each session. Susanna takes time each visit to ask questions and get updates on how you're feeling. She's highly intuitive and with a flick of a needle, can release pressure points and pain in a flash. The patient rooms are soothing and each bed has an amethyst biomat to help with healing by using infrared heat. Her office is inviting, with hot water and tea bags offered pre and post session. She is also an accomplished potter, so many of her items are for sale at very reasonable prices. She is an excellent diagnostician. I highly recommend her.

Thanks Yelpers, I'm so glad I went to see Heidi! I will definitely return :)…read more I usually rely on acupuncture when I acquire strains or pains that don't respond to self-therapy (massage, ointment, rest). I don't like to take meds, so acupuncture is a great way to help my body heal itself. The difficulty is finding someone you like... Enter Heidi into my life! I recently had horrible lower back pain that wasn't attributable to any obvious injury... I was clearly overdue for some maintenance. Luckily, Heidi emailed me back immediately and booked me at her Union Square location! She performed this technique that was new to me (it made my muscles dance:), and I felt so much better when I left. Heidi is experienced and I was very comfortable under her care, mentally and physically, which is huge!! She's so personable, it would be great if all PCPs could be like her :) Considering how much NYers pay for massage therapy and haircuts, the price is reasonable. There may also be discounts for multiple visits. If you're looking for an acupuncturist in NY or Brooklyn, get in touch with Heidi.

I was referred to Heidi by a friend after suffering a concussion this summer. I had debilitating…read moreheadaches and nerve pain that made my head feel like it was being "buzzed" by electricity constantly. I was desperate to get some relief as nothing was working. I had never experienced an acupuncture treatment, but understood the concept. My initial visit to Heidi started with a complete review of my overall general health and what was troubling me. I had no idea at the time that Heidi had worked with athletes, so a concussion was something she was very well aware of. After my first treatment, my headache and buzzing dropped from a 10 to a 3 within a few days. Each day I felt better. The second treatment a week later really helped more and within another week, the headaches and buzzing were completely gone. Such relief! Knowing that my body was receptive to acupuncture, I asked her if she would be willing to work on an old leg injury. She promised nothing, but said it would be worth a try. I injured my IT band 7 years ago in a fall. As a result of the fall, I ended up with a hip replacement as well. Over the next 6 sessions which started out weekly and then moved to every other week - then every 3 weeks, I could actually feel a major shift and change in the way my leg was healing. Not only did Heidi provide acupuncture, she also employed Gua Sha (a form of Chinese medicine). This brought amazing changes to the scar tissue that had formed in my leg from the injury and surgery. To my amazement, the constant ache in my leg began to lessen. It's now to the point where I can play golf without pain. I've even begun to play almost every day without having to take an Advil or ice my leg. From agnostic to believer, I better understand just how quickly acupuncture can resolve an issue in the body. For me, it was nothing short of a miracle. As a practitioner, Heidi is kind and thoughtful. A ready listener and educator on the practice. I can recommend her for A+ work and ethics. Thanks, Heidi for your gift of healing.
