After extensive information being given to Anna, the "head broker", she still allowed us to drive 7…read morehours to see a property listed at 386Chesham Rd, Marlborough, N.H. She never mentioned a decrepit 80 yr. old trailer still on the property,30 yards from our proposed build site. She purposely omitted pictures that would allow someone to see that,as well as the rotting decrepit fence only yards away. The property was listed as having been recently cleared,with a well and septic,omitting that the well was across the street from the property,and that it would need repairs. A person with her longevity and experience should know better than to do that,as she herself was the listing agent,therefore knowing the letdown ANYONE would have upon pulling in to see the property. The pictures posted were misleading by omission . The listing was misleading concerning the well and septic. She has served on the board of realtors multiple times, and the company HKS was her fathers, so she knows EXACTLY what she's doing, and none of it is with integrity. Realtors like her are what due diligence protects us from. With 30 years in business, with INTEGRITY , this is not a company I would buy a bag of popcorn from. She deserves this review, and then some. She knew our position with selling our home, suggested a hard loan lender , and knew the fees I would have incurred for just signing the documents. Thank God for years of doing business, and the foresight to not sign until I had driven those 7 hours to physically stand and walk the property. The flattened, deflated emotion upon arrival could have been easily avoided had she not mis-represented the property,& its condition. I dodged a $16,000 bullet by doing my due diligence. The gas and hotel not included. I recommend anyone considering this company to take a step back, and re-evaluate. I reached out to Mike at the Bridge of Flowers Business Center and he was very willing to accommodate me by letting me work in the office temporarily. The connections, etc, are great. The other people in the office are very friendly. The location is also ideal -- on the third floor of the building on top of McCusker's Market. There is plenty of parking as well as places nearby for lunch. You can basically choose to work in a cube, desk, or space, and pay a corresponding rate. There are offices, and a meeting room. There is also a kitchen area with a refrigerator (no freezer), dishes, and utensils. The bathroom also has a shower (if for some reason you need that). The business center has actually been here for about 10 years, but it's not heavily promoted. I learned about it from a friend who worked in the office.

We're very happy we found Steve to represent our interests. As inexperienced buyers we were unsure of a lot - internet research helps, but it leaves a lot of gaps. How exactly does one negotiate on a purchase this large? What are the local peculiarities & customs of the area? What are the red flags one should look for when visually inspecting a house? How does one come up with a fair price? And so on. While navigating these particulars, he was very clear, thoughtful and careful regarding the legalities of the information he could divulge. Steve educated us on the house buying process. He also drew up a contract that included Covid-related language which protected our interests. At no point did we ever get the feeling that Steve was doing anything but vigorously advocating for our interests. Aside from being an all-around professional, he's also a really nice guy who seems to love sharing area knowledge, which made the whole process more informative than painful. The landlord my roommates and I rented through was one of the most unprofessional people I have…read moreever dealt with. He was reluctant to provide the services in which he was responsible for. The house was in very low quality move in condition with little to know cleaning done prior to new tenants. In the 2 years we rented with him we had 5 guys in the house (which was against the rules) and still had the rent increase. On several occasions he made claims of not receiving our rent checks even after cashing them! The contractors that were hired did not finish their jobs, and if they did the repair would only last for a couple months. Throughout renting our landlord would tell us how much he appreciated us and respected us only to turn to our parents and say the complete opposite, never addressing problems with us. Finally comes his fabricating of truth on the security deposit. Claims were made of us intentionally damaging property that had been either damaged or in very poor condition upon our move in. He has attempted to charge us more than our rent without evidence of damage and itemized quote from contractor. His intentions were to pay to repair his house with our money. If you are in the area and interested in renting with this company steer clear of Ed!
