True story. I was in Manchester on my way up to Merck Forest and Farmland with friends. I realized…read moreI had two presentations for work, but couldn't drive back to Wilmington and would've had terrible reception at Merck. I considered a couple of coffee shops/cafes, but they were noisy with no good place to plug in my laptop. So, I decided, while my friends were having lunch, to walk to the park/river walk to see if I could find a nice spot to sit and use my phone for Wi-Fi (I know, it was a terrible idea). As I'm walking and praying that there's a spot with minimal distractions and optimal hotspot coverage, I was about to take a shortcut through the bank parking lot and couldn't believe my eyes: The Barn @ Center Hill. It was so perfect. I tried to get in, but the door was locked. Someone happened to be going in, so I asked her if there was space available. Another customer/user came out and suggested I call the manager. I called Kim, and she got back to me in under an hour. She was immensely helpful and I was through the doors working in under 10 minutes. They have lots of options for membership. I only got the half day membership because I don't live near Manchester. But, there's also a full day option, monthly options, all-access membership, and even a private office space option. The place was rustic, but clean. The wi-fi signal reached outdoors to the picnic table, which was perfect on a cool autumn day. And the variety of spaces was invaluable. They even have a kitchenette. I'm not sure how accessible they are for folks with mobility challenges (I didn't get a chance to fully tour the space or ask). I would totally recommend this space. They were an answered prayer. I'm considering going there once a month to work, just to get away from home for a bit.

Kim saved the day when my connection went out completely just hours before an important, all-day meeting being held virtually. She emailed me right back, helped me get into The Barn that morning, and checked in throughout the day to make sure everything was going smoothly. I was able to present during my meeting without interruption, and took care of countless uploads and updates while I was there! I will definitely be back and can't recommend this co-working space enough.

I reached out to Mike at the Bridge of Flowers Business Center and he was very willing to accommodate me by letting me work in the office temporarily. The connections, etc, are great. The other people in the office are very friendly. The location is also ideal -- on the third floor of the building on top of McCusker's Market. There is plenty of parking as well as places nearby for lunch. You can basically choose to work in a cube, desk, or space, and pay a corresponding rate. There are offices, and a meeting room. There is also a kitchen area with a refrigerator (no freezer), dishes, and utensils. The bathroom also has a shower (if for some reason you need that). The business center has actually been here for about 10 years, but it's not heavily promoted. I learned about it from a friend who worked in the office.

I had hoped for a Starbucks but what I found was a piece of heaven on earth. First, the whole process of booking a day pass couldn't have been easier- a few clicks and within minutes I was in- and the price- SUPER AFFORDABLE!! The owner, Christy welcomed in to the most beautiful space- settled me right into the perfect spot and made sure I had everything I needed. Bonus points for showing up on waffle Wednesdays and getting delicious waffles and berries with a fresh cup of coffee right when I needed that little kick of energy! The accommodations were great, internet was fast and secure, I had printing capabilities as I needed them and I had access to various spaces to make private calls or presentations as I needed. After several days of having lovely conversations over morning coffee with Christy, it was abundantly clear to me she runs her business with integrity and heart! If you need to pop into for a day, a week, a month or forever, you will not find a more welcoming staff (or other renters- I ended up coming back for a total of 6 days and literally knew everyone by name and they knew me! ) You will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful building, a more perfect scenery to stretch your legs or to grab a cup of coffee as you get your days work done than Worksmart!

TWC is a thoughtful blend of modern and classical victorian space - on beautiful Franklin Square in…read morethe heart of Saratoga Springs. It is on a quiet, tree-lined block, yet steps from everything you need in downtown. The space is large, sunny, and versatile - from the ability to sit (well "distanced") in the central gallery - think NYC Public Library reading room. Or using the sunny vestibule, or holed up in one of the private walled offices or conference rooms. I have been a member at TWC since 2019. At that point in my law career (intellectual property and business), I was mentoring startups, consulting for local and international, small-medium sized companies. I was also in the midst a full-time job search. TWC meets all my requirements along the way for these mixed-mode activities I need - a mix of international conference and video calls, quiet study, serious professional client meetings, including face-to-face meetings, or many times just "hanging out" with clients or friends of all types. Other benefits include many windows, a large kitchen, office supplies, printer, large/small HD screens - all making a daylong (or weeklong) stay there productive and enjoyable. And since my new full-time employer is encouraging remote work - I am staying with TWC in this capacity as well - it is the perfect remote working environment - especially if (or when) you get tired of your "home" offices. Monika, the helpful owner and manager, always there, is from the area. So come to TWC and support a truly local business. TWC provides it all. Jeff

The sales manager I dealt with was friendly, helpful and prompt in replying to queries. The space itself is clean, functional and for the most part quiet as it appeared this is a less used location than other in local areas of Manchester, Concord, etc. The coordinator of this location is warm, helpful and shows a friendly interest in your needs and comfort. The rating of three stars is due to contractual rigidity that you must be fully aware of before committing to a agreement with Regus. In my case I opted for a 6 month plan that would allow me to see if I could swing the monthly cost on my fixed income. My 6 months were scheduled to be complete at the end of March and I gave my notice to not extend in mid February- within 30 days which in my mind is standard practice. I was told that even though my reasons for inactivity were due to post surgical complications and I gave notice 30+ days before my contract termed that I would have to pay an additional 2 months of rental per the contracts fine print. I would have needed to give my notice in December 2023 for my end date of March 31st to be valid and accepted. I asked for a waiver exception due to my health condition and was told unequivocally sorry but you will be charged even though you can't utilize the space. Sigh... those on a fixed income know that money going out to something that gives you zero return is painful and financially detrimental.
