Raven's Peek B&B is a very charming place to stay while travelling in Sitka, Alaska. It's located about 5 miles from town and about 2 miles from the ferry terminal. The house is located at the top of a hill and has stunning views of the bay! The hosts, Mike and Marilyn, are very sweet and hospitable. Aside from running the B&B, Mike has a coffee business which he runs from his basement.
As a guest, we have a private wing to the house, which includes a private entrance, 2 bedrooms, 1 half bath, one full bathroom, hot tub, sauna, and entertainment room with a large TV. It's as though you're renting your own home. The main bedroom has one queen bed, and the second bedroom has bunk beds. It's only used if your party is more than 2 people and never gets booked for other guests.
I must say that Mike is an excellent cook and the aroma of his breakfast makes you feel at ease and ready to start your day. He has a variety of meals for each day you stay, so you're surprised each morning.
Coming from Washington, D.C, I'm not used to small towns or B&Bs, but if you're ever in Sitka, this place is worth going to! read more
