A Drive-thru liquors?! Uhh huh, sure is! Only in Wisconsin, right?…read moreIt ain't all that fancy with a speaker and menu like at a fast food chain. Instead, a lady opens up a window, you ask for your desired booze, and cha-ching...a transaction has occurred. That easy. You can always choose to fight the innate Midwestern laziness and go inside too. Now keep in mind that there is a very high-pitched beeper that rings continually until the door returns to a closed position (in other words, don't piss off the employee by opening the door widely or taking too long to step in). You also may be surprised to see the employee's cat who lays still on a desk and seems to be stuffed--Nope, it's alive alright (and probably hates when you wake her up with the doors alarm). I was happy to see that they have a good sized wine selection, in addition to several fridges for cold beverages. You definitely can't beat the prices, especially when compared to alcohol selling chains like CVS or Pick N Save. Support local businesses...and be able to say you've been through a liquor drive-through.

The place is a mad house ... parking lot is full and be prepared for a grocery cart rally. Went on a Saturday morning. New guy in town for the experience. Multiple deli counters and fantastic choices. Service was excellent. Tried many cold cuts and salads. Hot dishes were popular with other shoppers but that wasn't a priority for us. Great breads to choose from. This old world deli is jam packed full of goodies. So many, we are returning today for another pass. Couldn't make it out the door without trying some of their chocolates. The triple dipped malted milk balls will put you in a coma. Highly recommend without any reservations. Allow plenty of time and grab a cart as soon as you enter. Bon Appetite !

Can't believe I never reviewed this place…read more.. We've been coming here for years and love all of the Tenuta's branded items like their giardinera, frozen pastas and jarred sauces. Always love coming in the summer to get an Italian from the grill out front. They have great bogo deals with wine in the back and have a wide array of everything (alcohol, beer, salami, cheese, pasta, etc). The staff have always been helpful if you need anything, especially at the deli. Recommend coming during the week to avoid a crowd. The place has a great vibe and smells like an Italian deli. Always feels like home when I stop in.

My husband and I visited Racine and stopped by Uncorkt to see what it was about. It's a large space…read morefilled with wine, beer, and a little shop. There are tables and seating towards the front of the store and an event space upstairs. They have large coolers filled with individual bottles of beer, wine and other beverages. I was impressed by the variety I believe Uncorkt has something for everyone to indulge in. They also have a nice selection of snacks. I was a little underwhelmed with the customer service. There were two employees working and a couple of customers enjoying a bottle of wine when we arrived. None of the staff made eye contact with us or said hello. We browsed around a bit and when I picked a beverage I took it to the counter to ask about their process....do we pay then find a seat, do we start a tab, etc. The person that I spoke with informed me I had to pay for my beverage, and was very short with me when I asked clarification questions - I couldn't get a smile or laugh out of her. I'm sure masks make it hard to understand each other, but the whole interaction felt awkward and not very welcoming. Later a local family that this employee knew came in, and she was very nice warm to them, so I guess she just didn't want to warm up to me. My husband said the other employee was helpful & friendly. We enjoyed sitting by the window and watching the activity along the street while enjoying out beverages, and I would return.

La Mexicana is one of my favorite taco spots in Racine!…read more I've been coming to this place for a few years now and it never disappoints. Tucked in the back of the store is a small restaurant with a full menu and let me tell you... their tacos are everything. They are always fresh, full of flavor and served with grilled onions and a roasted pepper on the side which I love. Honestly, they are definitely top three when it comes to tacos in Racine. What makes the spot even more special is how much more it offers beyond the restaurant. They are actually a small grocery/corner store as well. In addition to having a small restaurant in the back they are also a little paleteria (ice cream shop) so you can grab a refreshing popsicle or ice cream (perfect after a taco) and if you're in the mood for street corn they have those too (also one of the best in Racine). Whether I'm swinging by for a quick taco or elote fix or picking up a mangonada from their little paleteria window... I always leave happy. Friendly service, great food, and the authentic welcoming vibe keeps me coming back. Highly recommend!
