Dr. LaVoy is not only exceedingly knowledgeable in his field, but is also personable and has a way of making his clients feel welcome and important. I have also seen the other doctors on occasion, and they're outstanding as well Because the doctors are attentive to their client's needs, on occasion you may have to wait a little longer than usual in the waiting room, but you can rest assured that when you need a little extra time, you will receive that same care that goes above and beyond. Massage appointments can be hard to come by depending on your availability, so schedule a month in advance when possible. Billing has also been spot on. Be sure to ask if your insurance covers massage with an adjustment. (It's an amazing benefit with some insurance providers/plans.) This practice's aim is to get your back healthy and only come in once a month for maintenance. I love Dr Karen. She is awesome at taking my pain away and getting my joints moving correctly. They do offer massage as part of your therapy and highly recommend it. Looking back I may not have needed it. I loved it don't get me wrong. But it didn't give me lasting results like the adjustments did.

Yet Dr. Eric (and Dr. Karen) have taken the time to listen, validate and tailor a regimen that first my personal needs. Dr. Eric has helped me to understand better what my issues are. He did some stretches and movements of my knee and found my IT bands to be tight running down my leg and connected to my knee. Then we did some stretches I could repeat at home. It was instant relief! ABOVE AND BEYOND! The Guy actually had me record him doing the stretches and explaining what the stretch did and what i should be feeling thru the stretch. Dr. Greggory explained everything very thoroughly which i really like and appreciate. He came off like a personal trainer stretching and explaining. I was trying everything to get back my mobility... stretches, cbd oil, back roller, mobility ball, ice, heat, pain cream, rest, but nothing was working and I was in tears from desperation. It can be a frightening feeling when your freedom of movement is slipping away before your eyes. I didn't feel comfortable driving the car and could barely bend down at all. I had to do something or cancel the party, so I found Dr. Burr's reviews here. I'm not really a chiropractor person, at least I wasn't, but I liked that they relied on teaching exercise treatment therapies as well as adjustments, because my other experiences with chiropractic seemed like they were a repeating RX for more and more visits. I wanted a solution and things I could learn to do for myself. I also liked that he had a relationship with Applied Fitness Solutions, (AFS) where I have a membership and who I trust. Mitch was so compassionate and nice on the phone, and is so nice to work with. God bless them, they got me in the same day and I was able to start implementing the exercises Dr. Burr showed me right away. He explained my issues so well and was very personable but so clearly a professional. He really understood where I was at and knew what to do. I also purchased a lumbar pillow that helped train my spine to return to where it needed to be. I appreciated that they didn't push the purchase of this hard, and showed me how I could also use a towel, but I have to say the pillow does the job so perfectly, is comfortable, and doesn't slip that I'm really glad I bought it. It definitely made a huge difference in my recovery. It turned car trips into therapy. Two days later my pain had so improved!! I had a follow-up visit this day and Dr. Burr expertly assessed my progress and told me what to do to take my recovery further. I never imagined I could feel this better this quickly. I did the exercises frequently and they strengthened me and corrected the problem. Dr. Burr did give a great upper back adjustment as well. I'm still amazed at how fast I improved. Dr. Burr said that early treatment was key to bouncing back so quickly. I'm not out of the woods yet, but I just need a few more visits... not perpetual visits! I'm functioning and mostly comfortable. I'm so happy to share this as my success story! The party is tomorrow and it's totally happening, and I'll be able to enjoy it fully! My husband was amazed as well when he saw how miserable I was (my family had to do so much for me!) and he is going to see Dr. Burr for some back pain he has been struggling with for a while. He wasn't a chiropractor person either lol. If you have pain and are looking for real lasting help, I can't recommend Dr. Burr highly enough.
