I had elopement today with my husband that was beautiful and so much more than I was expecting. They were super professional and made it to a special moment for us especially not being able to have our family there. We weren't really prepared for what to expect so we didn't have a song and they offered to pick one for us. It was perfect and now me and my husband have our wedding song. Highly highly recommend for any package. We went with just the elopement, but we got to see the ceremony and wedding set up for a future marriage and it was absolutely beautiful. My, now husband, and I wanted a quick officiated wedding before our reception at a later date, and Inked Weddings responded promptly to our call and we're able to get us in same day. First, this place doesn't deserve one star - but in order to leave a review a star is required. Let me start off by saying - the communication sucks! The company uses a google number for contact and they very hard to reach. I left many messages, texts, and sent an email to discuss my paid elopement ceremony. After many attempts to reach someone, I finally spoke with the assistant who was really rude; because of her attitude, I asked to speak with the owner of the company. I waited patiently to speak with the owner , but never received a call back - instead I received an email stating that my paid, scheduled appointment was cancelled. I immediately began to call and of course no one answered the phone, email, nor texts. After no contact from Inked Weddings, I decided to go to the office - I waited one hour along with two other appointments that the owner was late for. I was happy that I was finally able to speak to the owner but became very disappointed when the owner mentioned to me that she trains her team to cancel appointments because "we only deal with a certain type of people...if we feel like a situation could be conformational...bridezillas.. or the bride may not be happy with our services...my team is trained to cancel appointments". The owner basically canceled my appointment for our elopement ceremony because I wanted to be sure that we could have our ceremony outdoor and her assistant manager was being rude with answering a simple question. The assistant told me to check back with them one week, one day or even the day of the ceremony to be sure that the temp outside was okay even though I had already expressed what the temp would be that day. How was I supposed to invite my parents, siblings, and friends to something that they would have to request time off from work within one week, one day or the day of the ceremony? Impossible right? I feel as though, in this line of business you should be prepared to deal with people with questions and concerns. If you have questions or concerns - you might be canceled. Weddings are special and a big thing regardless if the ceremony is big or small and they should be treated as such - inked weddings doesn't treat them as such - to them elopements are just an appointment to get off their schedule. Inked weddings doesn't show what is mentioned on their website. Please just go to the courthouse, church, or do it at home - this is not worth the values they display behind their website.
