I don't know if it's their increase in volume of orders or quality of help, but it has really taken a dive for the worse. Weird hours, no call backs, locked doors, No Parking signs, so much so that I'm calling them out! On 9/28 I took 2 shirts in to have sleeve patches sewn on and name embroidered on each per spec. On or about 10/30 I went to see where they were, as I had not heard from the company. The patches were WAY out of spec! The excuse was "But that's the way we did it for (so and so). Well, that's NOT the way it's supposed to be done! "So and So" gave you the wrong 4-1-1. Wouldn't it be nice to have a copy of the military/public service agencies' P&P's and R&R's in re: emblem placement or order of precedence? Any other Military, Police/Fire/EMS or Security firm I've dealt with generally has a copy of their uni specs on file. But, oh, that's progreessive thinking, sorry! On 11/9 I called to find out about my shirts. "Uhhhh, how far from the seam do the patches go?" STILL not ready. "Come see us in an hour." 1500 hrs same day: Pick up shirts: Embroidery STILL out of spec, sleeve patches OK. 9/28 to 11/9! Winter is coming; time for long sleeves!!! No Charge.......fine, they made it good but STILL f&*^ked up the embroidery spacing. AND they have a sign/disclaimer that sez bad embroidery ain't their fault and they are happy to show it to you when you utter the words "embroidered."! 2 $90 shirts!!!! FUBAR'ed! I/we have had good experiences with this place, but Man, it has it taken a nose dive!! Well, orders come and orders go and from henceforth, no more orders or recommendations from this house, e-mails to be sent and memos posted. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I am a part of an artist inspired underground t shirt company in NYC.. and Forward Printing printed our first official line and everything else since. We have been through a lot with them and have seen them grow from a small family oriented partnership of two cool guys, to nationally reknown status and have watched and heard them receive all types of awards and accolades since this time. They deserve it. They practice true artistry with their printing over there! Some of you may not know this..... but those who.... do really know just how difficult and tedious making a screen is.. even a simple one. Our designs are not simple at all. Our designs are artwork. Surreal Artwork for the most part. More than 90% of printers cannot, do not and will not even attempt to try to print for us. "Your designs are too intricate," "This requires us to bring someone else in, so we have to pay them more," We don't have machines or inks for this stuff," I've gotten it all as in terms of excuses and reasoning. The truth is .. they don't have the talent on there staff or just don't want to spend the time to make a fine quality product. Being a business man looking for the best deal AND best quality, I've done my fair share of shopping around; Not just in the USA but all around the world. One thing that is unmatched is the quality of what and how Forward prints. These guys do whatever it takes. If they don't know how or have never seen something.. they will learn, figure it out spend more time on R and D and still make it happen. There is nothing they cannot do, because they simply refuse to not figure out a way in the name of art and design! They have so many different techniques and experiment with each and every one... like a true artist.. till perfection is reached. I made a list of prospective printers I found on yelp, and found forward printing, and looked for the bad reviews to plan a worse-case scenario. After reading the bad reviews and noticing that these were based on petty/pathetic reasons I called Forward Printing in the morning. On the Second Ring, Jessika picks up, and I explained my situation, told her not only do I need 100 shirts printed in 36hours but I also need you to design it. BOOM I could already hear her mind racing with ideas and a plan of action. She told me to email her some ideas of what we envisioned and 2 hours later she sent me 6 different proofs of prospective designs from their art department that were perfect for such a short notice. Gave the approval around 12:30pm, got a call at 3pm the next day saying they are ready for pick up! Got there(super easy to get to), and they had them folded and in a box still hot from the press. met the owner who plays an active part in the production since Forward Printing is his baby and passion. They have an INDUSTRIAL-sized production assembly that will blow your mind! IT'S CALLED THE MOTHERSHIP! Largest in the nation. FACT! Not only did they save my sanity but they saved my pocket too, better prices than any of the dime-a-hundred-dozen online printers, fastest turnaround I've ever even heard of, and just the best vibes. Like I said, these negi-yelpers are those crazies you see in a store complaining about why there is water in their coffee. Or the crazies that get mad because its 100Degrees outside but they want to wear their sweatpants. Or the crazies that (fill in the blank) They use Water-based printing which is Amazing! its literally impossible to crack, fade or bleed since the actual cloth fibers are dyed not just pasted on. My guy's company changed names and he needed new shirts, hats and hoodies so he stopped in at Caps & More to see what they could do for him. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful in placing the order and explaining about the process. You can bring your own items in or purchase from his extensive catalog. My guy used the catalog for his t-shirts and hoodie and pulled his caps from the inventory on the wall. The company logo (3 letters going from red to orange to gray to black) has a gradient fade and it was explained to us that because it was embroidery, the fade would look somewhat abrupt so it would be better to do each letter of the logo in a different color that looked as close to the original logo as possible. Went with red, orange and dark gray and although it doesn't look exactly like the image from the company, it looks really nice and clean and will definitely do the job. Caps & More Embroidery more than met our needs, they met our price expectations as well. Everything was ready within a very short turnaround time. They will really put in the work for you!
