We were out for the evening, 3 couples, celebrating my partners 42nd birthday. We had been out for a meal first and my partner suggested going for a drink as he had been to the Print room for business lunches and dinner. Two of our friends were unhappy about their drinks which were Heineken as they were flat. They complained at the Bar and a female member of staff offered them another beer in a hot glass which was rather unprofessional. They both refused and insisted on getting their money back. The Bar manager came over and proceeded to get very aggressive with my friends but gave them their money back. They came back to the table and waited for the rest of us to finish our drinks. In the meantime I happened to notice that the Bar manager was glaring at us from behind the bar! I thought I must be mistaken surely he could not be behaving so unprofessionally? He then proceeded to make a cocktail and I have never seen anybody shake that cocktail with such frenzy, surely this cannot be happening I said to myself but no it was, several more times I glanced over to see him continuing to glare at us from behind the bar! We decided to leave and as I walked out I happened to glance back at the bar to see him still glaring!, I shook my head in disgust and left. No sooner had we crossed the road than I hear someone shouting at me, I turned round to see the Bar manager coming towards me in a very threatening manner! He was very aggressive and had my partner not been there I would have felt scared that he was going to hit me. We managed to call two other bar staff over who had also come outside and told them to take him back inside. Unbelievable. This was mine and my friends first and I can assure you last visit to The Ink Room Or Print room. My partner will not be returning for business either. Disgusting!!!!! read more
