A couple of the websites suggested to get Emu Oil and they recommended a shop in Chinatown, but I went to other Asian places, but they didn't know what I was talking about and on a whim, I came here and voila - they have Emu Oil. I have developed eczema when I moved to NY and it's always been pretty mild, but it flares up from time to time, but maybe due to covid I am washing my hands even more and I was already a compulsive hand washer, so let's say I always have clean hands. The flight here killed my hands because the soap they use on United is way harsh. It totally wrecked havoc and my hands are cut up and irritated. I saw that Emu Oil helps and it has other benefits and so I decided to get it, but the super nice blonde lady introduced me to another brand non-Emu Oil (Juniper) and also recommended Weleda Skin Foods, but I advised I was only buying things that I couldn't get from the states. I ended up coming back here again to do more shopping and Peter helped me and I believe he's a pharmacist and he was also really nice and recommended Graham's to me. This place has a warehouse type vibe about it - ceiling to floor is stacked with vitamins. I actually needed help to find what I was looking for but when I arrived at it I couldn't believe it - it wasn't just a couple dollars cheaper than the chemist, it was a good $15 or so dollars less expensive than even Coles. I check the expiry date just to be sure and it was totally fine! Even better the staff here totally know their stuff, not just about what is where but about what vitamins to take for what things etc. Love Mr Vitamins!

In terms of organic beauty Taste have a decent range - Dr Hauschka, Weleda, Trilogy, Suki to name but a few. They have some men's ranges, plenty of natural soaps, hair dyes, pamper products and baby care skin care. Beyond beauty they have a fantastic range of health foods. I've bought gluten free baking powder, lentil pasta, sprouted bread, coconut yoghurt, seaweed snacks, organic teas, coffees and chocolate - pretty much anything you can think of that Wholefoods might have these guys do too. The difference is, though the shelves are most certainly full, it doesn't feel crammed or stuffy in here. As well as packaged goods there is also a decent selection of fresh organic fruit and veg. It's obviously more expensive than supermarket produce but it tastes more alive. There is a fairly energetic come feisty in-house naturapath in store there most days who is a wealth of information and pretty good at sales (my personal trainer sister walked out with four treatments for her dermatitis). There is a fairly good range of vitamin and minerals. The staff are gentle, sweet and helpful. If you fancy a fresh organic fair trade juice or coffee they can whip one up for you to enjoy on the tables and chairs outside. Mind you, this right on Falcon Street so the car fumes don't bode well for your organic snack - unless it goes straight down the hatchet, that is. Parking available underground on the premises.
