It took 10 years for our miracle to arrive. I found Ingenes in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic and I became a mom in May of 2021. Dra. Patricia Lemini made my dream come true. In a time when I felt that becoming a mom was going to be nearly impossible she helped make it possible. I'm very grateful for her. I stare at my baby and I remember she used to be a dream and wish And now she is a reality. I'm grateful for this clinic and and extremely grateful for Dra. Patricia's help, she helped my promise come into fruition.

My husband and I had been trying for 6 years to have a family. We live in Los Angeles district. We looked and researched fertility clinics everywhere, but nothing that we could afford. We decided to branch out- to Tijuana, Baja California Mexico and I thank God we found INSTITUTO INGENES Fertilidad y Genética. Our experience with them from initiating the call to our first office visit has been one of the greatest choices we have made. There financial team work with your budget and one of the most amazing things they offer is your money back if you are not successful. Nowhere else they will guarantee this. We've looked! My doctor- Dra. Patricia Lemini Camarillo is such a great person and very honest, she explained the whole process and made sure we understood everything. After talking with Dra. Lemini we had no doubt that we were in good hands and that we had made the right choice. I love that there is easy and constant communication with her. Every little question or concern I had, she always answer me. So if you really want to start a family this is your place!! Our treatments have begun, we are in our second try and I am currently pregnant in my second trimester and very confident that it will be a success. I want to thank all the staff at Instituto Ingenes for everything they do. They are all very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The customer service that they render is exceptional, they make you feel part of their team. Gracias INGENES y también muchas gracias a mi enfermera favorita ISAMAR por ser tan amable, paciente y enseñarme cómo tomar los medicamentos.

I truly believe God led me to Dr. Gamiño. I knew that day I would become a mother. After my surgery, I became pregnant within a couple of months, and his care throughout my journey was exceptional. He monitored me closely with weekly labs and constant communication--every drive and every visit was absolutely worth it. His experience and attention to detail stood out immediately; he anticipated complications early on and guided me every step of the way. Thanks to his guidance and referral to a specialist, critical conditions like my baby's growth restriction and my developing preeclampsia were caught--things that were unfortunately missed in the U.S. When my condition progressed to HELLP syndrome, Dr. Gamiño continued to show incredible care, personally checking on me and even taking my calls early in the morning while I was hospitalized. Because of him, my baby boy was born healthy, without complications, and never needed the NICU. I will never forget the role he played in this miracle. Thank you, Dr. Gamiño, for helping fulfill God's promise in my life and for being not only an incredible doctor, but a truly compassionate human being.

For years, my wife struggled with heavy, dark menstrual cycles, unbearable chronic pelvic pain, and…read moreother debilitating symptoms. Numerous visits to emergency rooms and medical providers resulted in misdiagnoses, often attributing her ailments to existing conditions. We had come to believe this was simply her reality. On an unrelated note, we were referred to Dr. Gamiño, and after thorough research, we decided to seek his expertise. His initial assessment and ultrasound examination quickly indicated endometriosis. When my wife began describing her symptoms, Dr. Gamiño confidently interrupted and accurately listed her symptoms based on his findings. We then went to Imagen Radiologica Integral for an MRI, where Dr. Gamiño personally ensured all details were reviewed. The results confirmed endometriosis, adenomyosis, and other undisclosed conditions. After carefully considering our options, we chose to move forward with the laparoscopic surgery. After a nerve-wrecking 4-6 hours of surgery, the procedure was successful. A month later, my wife is experiencing a significant recovery, feeling better than she has in 20 years. While we have read about difficult recoveries for this type of surgery involving heavy bleeding, intense pain, and significant scarring, our experience has been the opposite: minimal bleeding, well-healing incisions, and manageable pain with over-the-counter medication. As an American, I understand that the Mexican medical protocols may differ from what we're used to, which can initially be challenging and off-putting. However, once understood, the system proves effective. Dr. Gamiño is an ethical and scientifically-minded physician. He is direct and won't sugarcoat the truth. He is detail-oriented and committed to factual information and achievable goals, foregoing theoretical discussions. He requires active patient participation and will not shy away from delivering difficult truths when it comes to your health. This straightforwardness, though sometimes perceived as insensitive, is driven by a deep commitment to objectivity and ensuring the most positive medical results, akin to a stern but caring parent." Beyond the initial impression, Dr. Gamiño's sincerity shines through in his stories, demonstrating a remarkable pride in his profession and the genuine pleasure he derives from helping patients transform their lives. A glimpse into his personal life revealed a man deeply committed to his loved ones, his hobbies (cooking, the countryside, and dumplings!), and his work. His strong faith in God is evident, and he conveys a powerful message about its importance. Immense thankfulness is felt for Dr. Gamiño's role in this journey, a true source of hope during a difficult time. Profound gratitude is felt for Dr. Gamiño's presence, a true silver lining during a challenging period. I pray that GOD blesses his hands so that he may continue to improve his patients' lives.

    Concibo

If you're considering IVF at Concibo Reproductive Clinic, here's what you need to know…read more.. I never leave reviews, but felt strongly enough to make sure others don't make the same mistake as we did. We live in Los Angeles and were drawn to this clinic, because of the lower cost per IVF cycle, compared to US clinics, it was less of a financial risk. But don't waste your money and most importantly, your time (like we did). Here's Why: 1. They have a LOW SUCCESS RATE and are not tracked or held accountable by any regulatory agency to validate their success rates. (The US has SART: Society for Reproductive Technology) 2. They have POOR LAB QUALITY with old lab equipment and less experienced lab technicians, which is just as important, if not, one of the most important components in IVF. They play a crucial role in creating viable embryos, and Concibo's inexperienced lab technicians and poor lab quality leads to their low success. 3. They do not use bloodwork data to check your hormone levels to determine important decisions. We did 2 fresh cycles with Concibo, and never once did they do a blood draw to ensure they were retrieving and transferring at the correct time. In IVF, it is important to know your hormone levels to determine the timing of procedures and that the stimulation is on track or needs to be adjusted. Instead, Concibo just "guesses" because they are not data-driven on their decision making. 4. Their IVF "package" is for fresh cycles, which is not preferred, because it gives patients no time to evaluate and see if your body is ready or not for the transfer. It is critical your uterine health is good, in order to implant. We had 3 undiagnosed uterine Polyps that they did not catch, until it was too late, they had already transferred 4 of our precious blastocysts over 2 fresh cycles. In the US, they are moving away from Fresh Transfers and going to a "Freeze All" approach, because of this exact situation, they want to fully evaluate your uterus and make sure everything looks good before transfer. 5. They do not proactively try to problem-solve what could be the cause of your "infertility". As I mentioned above, they do not conduct any blood draws to see your hormone levels at baseline (day 1-3 of your cycle), and if there might be any red flags before they proceed with the IVF cycle. After our failures with Concibo, we were told by Concibo that I had "poor egg quality" (which is just a blanket statement they give everyone), so we decided to get a second opinion with a prestigious LA clinic, and they immediately caught my elevated TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) through baseline bloodwork, and diagnosed me with Hypothyroidism and prescribed me with Levothyroxine to control my thyroid. After only 2 months of taking the medication, WE ARE NOW PREGNANT THROUGH NATURAL CONCEPTION! With that said, our experience with Concibo could have been different if they decided to do their due diligence with early baseline bloodwork, instead of proceeding straight to IVF. Instead, they put me and everyone else through their "IVF Package" like a puppy mill. When we started our journey, there weren't many reviews online about Concibo, and we didn't know much about IVF, so we took a gamble. But after a course of a year, we got smarter and knew a lot more about IVF and we really hope others can learn from our mistake. Choosing an IVF clinic is a very important decision, and I hope my review can help others who're looking to build their family make a smarter and better informed decision about Concibo.
