Amazing customer service and treatment of small children. I went to give my 7 year old and her cousins the VR experience. 2 thumbs up!

Came with a group. It was my first time trying Sandbox. Since a lot of us had tried VR games with…read morezombie themes, we went with the Squid games one. We got sensors on our left and right wrists, and ankles. For those that had glasses, we had to were the googles over our glasses which we were advised could interfere with some of the sensors in the eyes but overall, they were fine. Although we put them in place at the outset, all those with glasses all agreed that the googles still moved regardless of how tight we had them. Overall though, the googles didn't interfere too much with the game. For those familiar with Squid Game, it followed a similar pattern where we played group games to win individual points. It was a really fun theme, especially for those of us that don't like zombie pop ups. Lots of feet and hand movements. We really appreciated that right after the game is over, they led us to the back to show us three clips about our experience. The clip was also emailed directly to us right away. A really fun activity with a group. Would definitely do this again, and... perhaps won't be so nice with sharing info about certain aspects. Every man for themselves right?

Worst Game Room Experience!…read more Frank and Ivonka were extremely rude! I am glad I brought my kids myself and not ask them to go by themselves. Sign-in process was extremely inconvenient and I will not come back to this stupid place again! We are players of escape room and vr room all over Vancouver and we Do Not recommend this place to anyone!

We were looking for something fun to do on a Sunday and discovered VoyagerVR…read more The owner Brian was wonderful and patient making sure we understood how to use the equipment (first timers), explaining the games, and how to choose them. After we chose and were having fun he would call out tips to us, as in how to pick up items in the game and use them, apparently in our chosen game you have to remove your mask in order to don a hat. The hour we booked flew by. I highly recommend.

I'd check out the website for the VR options that are available. If you have a party, a get together, or want to have a fun date night out, this is the spot. Brian, the owner, will make sure you're having a great time. As for COVID-19, guidelines are being followed, and everything is pristinely clean. VR headsets and controllers are cleaned after every use (I witnessed this myself), and while masks are strongly encouraged while gaming, there is also some room to take your mask off if you're having a hard time breathing since they're pretty closed off, padded sections. There are TVs for those who want to just watch and comfy seating too (almost fell asleep on the couch). Give it a try, thank me later.

Disclaimer: our party used a Groupon and even with the Groupon it was around $130. I'm not sure…read morethat this experience, particularly the Ice Walker room was worth the money, even with the Groupon. This review is specifically for the Ice Walker room and in no way reflects the staff. They were nice. When our time started, I think we were able to complete one or two of the puzzles in the first room fairly easily. However there was one puzzle on the wall that when you solve it, a box should open. We completed that puzzle multiple times but the box did not open and we finally had to ask for a hint. The staff confirmed that we had completed the puzzle correctly and manually opened the box for us. They also added back a couple of minutes into our overall time. Where my issue lies is that I see that a month ago, there is a yelp review with the exact same complaint. Why hasn't the issue been fixed if that complaint was made a month ago? Other than the malfunctioning puzzle, our group had to use all three of our hints. Usually when you get a hint you understand where you might've gone wrong or you understand the reasoning behind the puzzle. However for this room in particular, we felt that there were a lot of things that just didn't make sense. The puzzles and the low quality equipment really took the fun out of the experience and we're not sure if we would return. A side note: a couple of people in my party have done two other escape rooms at Flee and they have had fine experiences with those. I believe both of those escape rooms were also five out of five difficulty. It seems that with our experience, combined with the other low reviews specifically for this room, that the Ice Walker room is to be avoided.
