We actually had already hired another photographer and paid him a non-refundable $800 deposit, but after seeing Ethan's portfolio, we decided to take the risk and release our original photographer in order to hire Ethan instead. Although it came as no surprise, Ethan was nothing but professional, extremely accommodating, a pleasure to be around (and with a positive attitude), and obviously... his pictures captured perfectly the moments, the "feelings" and style of our wedding day. He was perfectly embedded in our wedding: e.g. we didn't notice Ethan unless he was directing us. Even though we lost our original $800 deposit with our first photographer, going with Ethan turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We would do it all again without any hesitation!

We are so grateful we had Eugene as our wedding photographer. He was dedicated, professional,…read moreinnovative, and very attentive to details. We first had an engagement session with him, and we were very happy with the results. He let us be ourselves and got our most natural and beautiful moments together. The slideshow video was fantastic. We couldn't wait to share it with our friends, and we showed it at our engagement party. Then he impressed us deeply again! He arrived early at the wedding day--and despite the crazy wedding schedule, he managed to capture the preparation process for both the bride group and groom group. He had tons of new ideas, which turned out to be very inspirational photos. The most fun and memorable moment was the "marching-down-the-palm-drive" session after our ceremony. He convinced the groom's father and the limo driver to help him stop the traffic from every direction for a couple of minutes, and then had the whole wedding party hold hands and run down the Palm Drive together. After the session, the drivers, who waited in line to help us achieve the crazy shoot, congratulated us when they drove by. We felt so blessed and special! Big thank you, Eugene. You helped us preserve our most precious memory in the most precious way!

We cannot emphasize how much we truly appreciate him. On the wedding day, they worked tirelessly, guided us when needed, and allowed the most meaningful moments to unfold naturally. Their presence was reassuring, seamless, and exactly what you want on such an emotional, fast paced day. This job is not for everyone, but this is their calling and their work speaks for itself! I don't know how they can handle the high level of stress but they definitely did. They genuinely go above and beyond at every step. 5 stars isn't enough to represent their level of care, dedication, and excellence. We first inquired back in 2025, and from our very first meeting Yang was prepared and professional, giving a breakdown of what working with him would be like. This included multiple checkpoint meetings leading up to the wedding, along with last-minute photo tips to remember the week before. He also showed that he likes to capture small moments that really convey the feeling of the day, which I loved. We ended up choosing an 8-hour package with a second photographer for the wedding day, along with an engagement session. For our engagement photoshoot, Yang was so helpful with posing us in a way that looked natural. We're not the most comfortable in front of a camera, but Yang is super experienced, and the engagement photos turned out better than we could've imagined. We used so many of these photos on signage and stationery for the wedding. By the time the wedding day rolled around, we felt so familiar with Yang from our multiple meetings and the engagement shoot that it felt like seeing an old friend again. Yang also has a great photographer network - our second photographer was Vivi Lin, who was fantastic and so sweet. It was a long and high-stress day, as weddings usually are, but Yang handled all of our requested shots seamlessly within our timeline. Within a week of the wedding, Yang shared beautiful previews and we were astounded! He delivered the full gallery within a month, which was incredibly quick given how many photos there were and that he had other weddings that same month. I'm not even exaggerating when I say I've spent hours scrolling through our wedding photos every day because I am OBSESSED WITH THESE PHOTOS!! He really did an amazing job not just capturing the full day, but preserving the feelings and emotions tied to the memories. Highly recommend Yang for your photography needs! Absolutely one of the best choices we made, and we're so lucky to have these memories captured by him, preserved forever.

Disappointing Maternity & Newborn Photoshoot Experience…read more We had a very disappointing experience across both our maternity and newborn photoshoots. For the maternity session, there was no proper pre-discussion about locations or outfits. We were simply asked to choose from previously taken images, which felt impersonal. During the shoot, the session felt rushed, and the photographer appeared disengaged, as if they wanted to finish early. From a 2-hour session, we could barely select around 10 usable images, which reflects the overall quality. We also noticed technical issues with the camera, including frequent error messages during burst shots. For the newborn session, we had informed them in advance that we would be about 30 minutes late due to our baby's doctor appointment. Despite this, one of the planned props was removed, which felt inflexible given the circumstances. There was also a significant delay of about four weeks beyond the expected timeline in delivering the edited images, without clear communication or accountability. After delivery, communication continued to be frustrating. We received emails indicating additional charges if image selections were not made within 30 days, which felt pressured--especially considering the delay in delivery was on their side. At the same time, when we requested a re-edit for one of the selected images, we had to follow up multiple times and did not receive timely responses. Additionally, some comments made during the newborn shoot were uncomfortable and inappropriate. Remarks about the baby's skin tone and comments regarding the mother's feeding choices were hurtful and unexpected, especially for a one-month-old baby. We expected a much more respectful and sensitive environment. There was also no prior discussion about props for the newborn shoot -- only a couple of setups were pre-arranged, and we felt limited to those options. Similar to the maternity shoot, the overall photography quality did not meet expectations. From a 1.5-hour session, we could barely select around 15 images, and the editing felt very basic, with some images appearing minimally edited. Given our experience, the overall service felt unprofessional, inflexible, and lacking in quality. These are once-in-a-lifetime moments, and we expected a much more thoughtful, skilled, and supportive experience. Also, please don't go based on Instagram followers alone -- our experience did not reflect the expectations set by their online presence. If you are looking for a photographer who communicates well, provides guidance, and creates a comfortable and enjoyable session -- especially with a newborn -- this may not be the right fit.

He was communicative in each step of the planning to the day-of. Not to mention, his service was great too. He was clear to instruct guests where to look, and helped guide guests on the photobooth experience overall. I wanted to comment that because I've been to some photobooth vendors at receptions and sometimes you get a vendor that the staff is very hands off. John was always nearby. I think this is crucial especially for guests who have never used photobooths before (e,g. older folk or less tech-savy people). His packages are affordable and has many options to offer.
