I interviewed over 10 counseling companies and none knew bs/md the way moon prep does. I was very impressed how every counselor on the team has extensive knowledge in this area. Truly, this is what the company is known for. Competitors gave vague answers and I could tell this was not their specialty at all. Bs/md programs are expensive, a private school can cost $75k a year and times that by 7 or 8 years for bs/md program. So I do not recommend trying to skimp on the help your child needs to get into this type of competitive program. It's more than worth the money to hire a professional counselor to guide your child. My son was accepted to numerous bs/md programs and with scholarships too. We are thrilled.

I loved that everyone was eager to help and eager in my success. I was paired up with an amazing tutor! We used the online platform that I was really nervous about and felt that was not going to work. However to my surprise it worked! My tutor and I had one technical difficulty out of all the sessions I had, after that we were good to go. The next day after our session with the technical difficulties, I got a call from Melissa and she credited me the time lost from our session. I really appreciate that they cared to follow up & see how things went. Brittany my tutor was amazing. She was very patient with me. She restored a lot of confidence for me regarding math since there were things I had not seen since middle school. She found practice questions similar to what I needed to know. She took pictures of her notes & emailed them to me. Brittany has amazing energy, at no point did I feel uncomfortable with her or her style of teaching/tutoring! Last, I'd loved to say I PASSED my test with the assistance of Varsity Tutors!! Awesome company, people, & tutors!!

I admit, I wasn't the best at math, and needed help. So glad that I found Power of Yet Tutorial. Ms. Henri is patient and knows how to connect with kids. Additionally, she gave me the option to stay with my daughter as she learned. This was great and put my mind at ease with working with someone new. We recently got progress reports and my daughter moved from a 59% in math, to a 70%! This was after about 3 weeks of tutoring (twice a week). I am going to continue to use Power Of Yet Tutoring because I know that my daughter will continue to make progress. I recommend Ms. Henri's services because I have seen results....Not to mention she has fair prices compared to other private tutors. Cherry on top is that she is a certified teacher...so LOTS of experience. I also like that she is flexible where I can either drop my daughter off at her place, or she will make the drive to our house and did not charge extra. She also offers online tutoring a less cost which is cool. Just realized how long of a review I wrote, but definitely worth it lol. Nothing beats the feeling I get seeing my daughter more confident in her math skills. Thanks Ms. Henri!

On the last day the kids set-up a restaurant, and the parents came to dine. The kids were the waiters asking us in Spanish what we would like to eat and drink. I merely wanted them to be exposed to it, and hopefully absorb a little too. Wow! Was I mistaken. They came away with much more than I ever anticipated. I will definitely be signing my kids up for the after-school Spanish program in the fall.

We didn't think that would be the best approach for our child so I asked around about alternatives and was so happy to be referred to Academics Plus for a paper-based Flex test. Alexa with Academics Plus made the process very easy for me! After an online inquiry, she reached out with a phone call to explain their process and fees. I was able to schedule a test on my preferred date with no problems and Alexa kept in communication with me via email right up until test date to ensure I was aware of SSAT requirements, their COVID protocols, and generally able to answer any questions I had. Due to COVID, they are limiting entry into the facility at this time, so on the day of the test, I walked my 6th grader to the door and she met us there. She was very warm and made sure he was comfortable before they entered to go take the test. He was able to take the test in a private room and because there was nobody else in the room with him, he was able to unmask during the test, which made it a more comfortable experience for him. I have already recommended Academics Plus to friends but would want to share our positive experience with anyone looking for a paper-based SSAT option or generally needing a Flex test for the SSAT.
