We loved how they celebrated everything from Holi to Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and Valentine's Day. The kids have an active social calendar! Now she's "graduating" this summer, and we can't believe how much she's grown during her time here. She's leaving more confident and social. We're so grateful for the warm, caring environment they've created--it's made a lasting impact on our family.

It's tucked away in a little plaza and really checked off a lot of our boxes when searching for the right place for our daughter. Pros: 1) This place offered flexibility - they have various options ranging from a few days a week for 3 or 5 hours or full days (drop off and pick anytime between 7am-6pm ish) 2) The owner is very communicative - whenever I had questions (before enrolling) and throughout attending SHA, Vik was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Communication is consistent and they use the Lilio app. I got photos / updates of what my child was doing on a daily basis. Communication gets sent out immediately if a child has hand foot mouth, pink eye, etc. 3) Diversity - it was important to find a place that valued diversity, and SHA does a wonderful job celebrating diversity by inviting families to come and share about their own cultural traditions / holidays throughout the year. They also encourage family involvement in events throughout the year which I really loved. 4) Last but not least, a fun and safe learning environment - as a parent who was looking for the first preschool to enroll her daughter in, we wanted to make sure that we felt comfortable dropping off our child in a place where she felt safe and comfortable. They don't have cameras for parents to monitor their kids on, but we have always felt our child was in good hands in their care. My daughter never once complained about going to preschool -- she looked forward to going everyday! During the summer they also have a bunch of fun events like water play days, visits from magicians and 'mad scientists'. Now while there's so much to love about this preschool, especially the dedicated and compassionate teachers (who are what make the school special), it was disheartening to see a lot of the long term teachers leave this year. It was crucial for me to find a preschool that had consistent teachers, and we were very very lucky to have Ms Destany for the entire duration of the school year, but the constant turnover in staff was a bit alarming. Not sure what was going on here but it seemed like staff did not feel valued. Would've given this place 5 stars if it weren't for this.

Even at some private schools, you may be paying a great deal and your child is not getting a good education like they would here. That is the case with me. I had my little one at a private school that was pretty much a high tuition day care. She was not learning too much but had lots of play time and naps. Here, they kind of merged fun and education. The little one loves it and the school has provided a direct turn around from the deficiencies that resulted from her previous school. The student to teacher ration is very good. The teachers communicate very well with all aspects of the education and they are straight forward. Does the school cost a lot? You bet! Even with a good school district, education for the little ones is very important at this younger age. The tuition here is well validated with the education the kids are getting. The uniforms are very reasonable. In fact, it is probably cheaper that the kids wear the uniforms than having to buy so many clothes. It makes it easy to get them ready in the mornings as well. Great Education and Excellent Teachers at this Location!

Since day 1 we felt welcome, heard, and most importantly informed on our daughter's progress and what she needed to work on to improve. All of the teachers here, Ms. Ridma, Ms. Harshi, and Ms Janine have worked with our daughter for a year or more. Our experience after 4 years has been amazing in every way. The attention to detail, the education, the challenging of our daughter to improve, the homework, the care and love we couldn't be any more happy! We are actually sad to leave. Our daughter has had an amazing experience, loved all her teachers and she reads as a 2nd grader at the 6 grade level due to the incredible curriculum they teach at this school. She loves going to school and looks forward to it every day. I highly recommend you enroll your child at the school to give them an edge and challenge them in the areas they need improvement. You will be happy and as grateful as our family is that you did. Ms. Harshi always creates amazing events for the students to enjoy. Our daughter also enjoyed summer school last year. Their summer school program is great! We wish we could keep her here another few more years.

I will say, if you plan to enroll your kids soon, please be aware they are VERY short staffed. I kept my kids here longer than I should have because I thought the teachers really loved my kids (most of them). But then most of those teachers left all at once and that's when I started to make plans to take them out. Both of my kids have medical concerns. They are not medically complex; but one is developmentally delayed and the other has asthma and food allergies. We had an extremely rough start with my older who has special needs, she was kept in a stroller for most of the time (based off pics and what we saw in person). OBVIOUSLYYYYY that is not ok, considering she is mobile on her own. So I filed a complaint and talked to the owner and they stopped doing that. But one small thing that did bother me, was that she would never come home with artwork once she went into the toddler classroom. But, I would always see everyone else's artwork on the wall. That would hurt any parents heart, I think. My oldest is capable, it seemed like she was always just an inconvenience to them. Not to mention the few times I heard other teachers talking on the floor how they "had" to take care of my kids that day... wow. Next, my littlest one was pushed out of the infant room while older kids got to stay and ended up being sent to a 1yr old class at 9-10m, where I was told he HAS to be on the 1yr old schedule. When I asked admin and teachers why, I got completely different answers from everyone. How is that possible? Also, at that age, they still need milk often. I had to call in severalllll different days just to remind them to give my baby milk. As it was not being shown on app updates. One time they told me my son refused to drink milk that whole day. When I picked him up, he chugged two bottles within an hour and was visibly dehydrated. My littlest one had head injuries there almost daily too for 2 weeks. Again, he was pushed out to play on the concrete and non padded floors in the 1 year old class while he was just learning to be mobile. He would cry the entire ride home everyday basically since I enrolled him. My guess was he was hungry, because I would always give him a bottle or snack ASAP and he would be fine. There was also a day where he had an allergic reaction, I was not made aware, and had to take him immediately to the ER when I picked him up. Horrible. 2 stars because i appreciate how they eventually accommodated my oldest, some staff that remained was very nice, they did picture day, and fun things. Sylvia, Sally, and the toddler PM young teacher (forget her name)... aaaamazing. Veronica and Patty were nice. But other than that, not much else to brag about. Not a lot of teachers here are truthful. I have spoken to the owner on separate occasions and on our last day, she made a remark about not being able to accommodate my daughter because of her special needs. Which is kind of crazy, don't think they are familiar with ADA laws, but I digress. Now my kids get picked up now at their new place and they are so content and peaceful, tummies are full and no injuries.

Before choosing Pine Tree, I toured about five different schools because I wanted to make sure we found a place where my children would not only be safe, but also happy, supported, and able to thrive. As a parent, trusting someone else to care for your little ones is a huge decision--and Pine Tree made that decision so much easier. From the moment we toured the school, Ms. Perla made us feel incredibly welcomed and at ease. She was warm, transparent, and genuinely enthusiastic about the children, the staff, and the school's approach. We could immediately tell that this wasn't just a daycare--it was a nurturing learning environment built with heart. Ms. Perla and Ms. Michelle are hands-down the best ever. Their communication with parents is consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring, and they truly go above and beyond to make each child feel seen, safe, and loved. The teachers at Pine Tree foster a strong foundation not just academically, but emotionally and socially. We've seen so much growth in our daughters--from their language and problem-solving skills to their confidence and emotional regulation. The curriculum is age-appropriate and engaging, and they do an amazing job at balancing structure with play, creativity, and exploration. They also celebrate cultural events and individual milestones, which makes every child feel special and included. The school maintains a clean, safe, and joyful environment that radiates positivity. It's clear that the staff take pride in what they do, and that translates into the way the children flourish here. My daughters come home excited to tell us about their day--and that kind of enthusiasm says everything. We are incredibly grateful to have found Pine Tree Preschool. Highly recommend to any parent who's looking for a place where their child will be truly cared for, supported, and encouraged to grow. There's absolutely nothing negative to say--only gratitude for the amazing care and experiences our children have had here.

My son attended this preschool for two years. Initially, things were great when the previous…read moreadministrator was in charge, but once Ms. Amanda took over, everything started to go downhill. One of the biggest issues is the incredibly high teacher turnover. When we raised concerns about this, we were told they can't keep teachers due to low pay, which was very unsettling. My son, who is sensitive to change, had five different teachers within an eight-month period. This was far too much for a 3-year-old to handle, and it understandably affected his behavior. Instead of offering support to help him adjust, Ms. Amanda continually blamed us and labeled my son as a "problematic kid." She even told other teachers that my son might have a brain issue, which was both hurtful and completely inappropriate. After consulting with two psychologists and a pediatrician, all of them confirmed my son is perfectly normal, and they strongly recommended removing him from the school. Ms. Amanda also lied to us multiple times. She claimed that other parents were unhappy with my son attending the school, but after speaking with many of them directly, they completely denied this. She also said that teachers didn't want my son in their class, but when I talked to two of his teachers, they firmly rejected this claim. It was clear that Ms. Amanda was fabricating these stories to avoid addressing the real issues and to place blame on us instead of taking responsibility. Though there were a few wonderful teachers, like Mrs. Poei and Mrs. Yovana, the turnover rate in the 3-4 year old class and TK is alarming. Worse still, Ms. Amanda's attitude towards the children is deeply concerning. She expects complete obedience from students, likely because she struggles to manage difficult situations. Anytime a child so much as takes a toy from another, parents are required to sign a form, and this behavior is documented. This documentation was used against us when they suggested our son wasn't a good fit for the school. Also, many of the 5-star reviews for this preschool are written because parents are encouraged to leave positive reviews in exchange for a $50 discount. After leaving Pine Tree, I enrolled my son in a new school, and he is thriving. He loves his teacher, enjoys going to school, and it has become clear just how poor the experience at Pine Tree really was. If your child is active, sensitive to change, or doesn't fit a rigid mold, I would strongly advise against this school. Their rigid expectations and Ms. Amanda's harsh, untruthful, and unprofessional approach made for a terrible experience for our family
