I started with another very popular duo in puyallup that would probably be the top result on yelp, due to them exchanging raffle entries for yelp reviews. They are very nice but didn't help me despite having me in on a very regular basis, which confirmed my suspicion that chiropractic work is a money pit. I don't remember why I switched to Dr Church but I'm so glad I did. First, the ladies in the office are so great. Wonderful to talk to on the phone and in person, and I've never had a billing issue. The office is clean and easy to navigate. Dr Church is incredibly good at his job. I remember him saying one of the first times I was in something along the lines of, "come in whenever you feel you need to" which was a nice change of pace from the last place. He's insanely knowledgeable, not long-winded but great with explanations, kind, and comfortable to be around. But best of all, he's always right and he ALWAYS FIXES ME. I went in skeptical many times thinking 'it's definitely not gonna work this time I'm beyond repair' and I'm shocked every time at how good he is. I'm really really good at aggravating my disc herniation at L5-s1, and even at times where I could barely walk in the door, I've gone in to see him and been moving normally by the end of the day. He has also given me wonderful referrals and I trust his advice when I bounce ideas off of him. I recommend him to anyone I care about that is in need of a chiropractor or on the fence about going to one. Thank you Dr Church and the whole team!

I found her to be very personable and professional. We spent the first 15 minutes just reviewing my history and what my problems were. She asked a lot of good questions and gave me time to really explain what I was feeling and what the ramifications of my back pain were. I felt heard. She then had me bring my husband into the exam room to make sure he understood exactly what she was finding. I very much appreciated that so that he heard what I was hearing at the same time. I have another appointment with her in 2 weeks (due to my travel schedule) and am looking forward to getting a great treatment plan from her put into action.

They begin with an exam to get a baseline idea of what your body is like and give recommendations of the plan. Each visit starts with 5-10 minutes of laying on the rolling bed. I always look forward to this part because it works my muscles and stretches me out. One of the ladies, Sheila, will pop in once in awhile to suggest different stretches and exercises that would help your problem area. Then Dr. John comes in and works his magic. They are all about educating you about your body and how everything is connected and how YOU can help your body get better with their help. I also suffer from migraine headaches often and Dr. John has been able to help me overcome them. Last week I walked in with a killer migraine and walked out without pain. It's amazing!
