After the facilities tour, I preregistered to stay here and don't regret my decision. The medical team was so knowledgeable, helpful, and showed genuine care in our well-being. I wouldn't recommend a mommy-to-be to deliver anywhere else. When the pct finally arrived I have now be waiting for her to return and clean me over 45 minutes. The call button does not work. The remote control doesn't either. I hear staff outside my room door 376b talk yet no one comes in to answer my call. This is truly unacceptable and demoraling. I just want to be changed and cleaned up. One of the drs on my case can in to update me and I asked him to let them know I need to be. cleaned up. He said he would. I started the process of getting the bed pan at 9;30 am and it is now 10:33am and I am still waiting. PCT comes in now saying she forgot. It happens. TRUlY UNACCEPTABLE . There needs to be follow through for the patient. I don't bother or ask for anything just a bed pan and this is what I had to experience. Hopefully someone will read this and address the issue so others won't have to go thro this.

I originally thought my breathing problem might have been related to mold discovered at the house where I had been staying. However, the doctors determined that the cause was a heart arrhythmia, which could increase the risk of a blood clot and stroke. I am very grateful that the hospital team identified this serious condition. Everyone has been kind, courteous, attentive, and helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised by the hospital food--it was very tasty! I enjoyed the pot roast, and the following day they served salmon. This one has some awesome surgeons and nurses. The rooms are great and they're clean. The waiting areas get a lot of traffic as most patients have more than one person with them. Speaking Spanish is a plus as they will always speak Spanish to you first. Parking is in parking lot is $1 for every 20 min max $8 a day or valet. They do validate which brings the price down a bit.

A couple of weeks in a row of heavy lifting at both the gym and work caught up to me and left me a little run down. I'd heard about Dr. GoodPrice from a friend who worked in the area, and came here since my usual provider didn't have an appointment. It's basically an independent pharmacy with medical assistants, a pharmacy doctor and ARNP's on staff. They're located right on 12th Avenue near Marlins' stadium and even have a free parking they share with like two other businesses. Once I came in and filled their digital "paperwork" out I received a basic medical screening. One of the nurses prepped the IV bags, patiently injected me and I sat in a recliner, akin to how your phone sits while getting charged. About an hour later, I was ready for the full moon party (and hopefully a better work week ahead)! They also do full medical checkups, treat minor emergencies like sore throats (I believe they're open until 8PM) as well as provide weight management injections.
